• It’s the 2nd New Moon of July – the 1st one was on July 2 – a Total Solar Eclipse.
  Some call that phenomenon ‘Black Moon’ (parallel to ‘Blue Moon’ as the 2nd Full Moon in a month) which I find misleading, since it can be confused with the Dark Moon phase before each New Moon. And every New Moon is actually a ‘Black Moon’ since the MOON is invisible next to the SUN.
  By the way, there’s no astrological significance to the fact that July has two New Moons – since Astrology goes by cosmic cycles, not by human made calendars. 
  Except – that’s special and a tad dramatic – as in: LEO. 🙂

  The LEO New MOON on JULY 31 / Aug 1 heralds the Rising of SIRIUS the ‘Dog Star’ (brightest star in the Dog constellation Canis Major, and in the night sky!).
  SIRIUS will rise again before the SUN – the ‘Heliacal Rising’ (Helios = SUN in Greek)! on 08 / 08! We’re in SIRIUS Season…

  MERCURY the Alchemist & Cosmic Messenger presently in CANCER (the Zodiac vibe closely related to the MOON) goes out of retro on the day of the New MOON!
  Doesn’t happen very often (statistically once every 29th M-r = about once every 10 years)!
  
  Being attuned to the cosmic MERCURial field suggests: * Coming gradually out of our crab shell, and integrating the Memories (wow, this one brought a whole flood od memories…!), REflections, INsights, and Messages from within that we received during the retro phase (practically throughout July) into the here-now.* Discerning temporary mercurial / mental-emotional ‘weather and how we really feel about things.* Consciously & lovingly communicating (the gift of MERCURY having met the SUN and VENUS) what has come up (maybe what hasn’t been said before) and is important now.
  
  The LEO New MOON ‘dramatically’ marks the Mercurial turnaround, giving it special attention, plus the North Node in CANCER is also close to MERCURY (see chart below) – pointing out how important it is to care, and honour our true feelings.Since this M-r turnaround comes right with the New MOON, I took a look at the Sabian Symbol of the turnaround degree at almost exactly 24° CANCER.

Now is quite a phase of Quincunxses (those long green aspect lines)!

Besides the double-quincunx Yod to MARS (active end of July / early Aug) – see the MARS themes above…

There’s also the quincunx from JUPITER retro / stationary in mid SAG to the North Node in mid CANCER, active June until September.

Quincunx energy is about finding a way to connect & coordinate what seems ‘strange’ to each other and an ‘odd match’.
Now it’s about the two impulses to finding our Home / feeling safe and belonging (NN in CANCER) and being free to pursue Adventures, Journeys, and Opportunities (JUPITER in SAG).
Just heard from friends they found this purrfect motor home for their Journey together – niiice!
So yes, you CAN be both safe and on the Journey that calls you, both protective / protected while adventurous and out & about.

What helps in such situations is to ask the Universe / one’s Higher Self / God: How? Please show me the way!
And to allow the Universe to send you celestial pointers.

Aug 11 is a Big Shift Day

Noteworthy, and I’m sure you’re noticing:
Two Planetary Players change directions soon – on the same day, AUG 11!
Plus, MERCURY goes into LEO.

JUPITER in mid SAG (retro since Apr 10) goes direct again.
URANUS in early TAU goes retro (until Jan 10, 2020).

Sooo, Aug is a stationary month for both JUPITER & URANUS – giving both Archetypes extra attention as they’re in ‘U-turn’ mode, and hence moving slowly.
If you got any Astro features in early TAU / mid SAG you can’t miss it.
Both JUPITER & URANUS have to do with Freedom – a big theme this month.

* For JUPITER in SAG (until Dec 2) that means:

Freedom to move, grow, see the World, and see things the way you do.
Goes with perspective and understanding while generously live & let live.
After many inner Journeys to understand Life and see the bigger picture, maybe also Journeys to ‘old happy places’, under JUPITER retro since April 10….

Over the last 7 months of URANUS going direct / forward, we had lots of liberating paradigm shifts that set us free – maybe ‘involuntarily’ / surprisingly / shockingly so.
Now it’s time to integrate the experiences, and find unconditional Freedom within. 

 

 

 

No Time for the Old Empire

SATURN retro in mid CAP travels slowly but surely next to the Lunar South Node (all Spring and Summer 2019).

This ‘smells’ so much like endings, closures, esp. of the shadow / low and heavy vibration of CAP:
As in: Doing things the hard way, resisting and judging (others and self), wasting time and energy (on exactly that, or other rock-solid ineffective / damaging patterns), being the martyr and taking too much on, or a scapegoat, being stuck in pretend security that has a high price, being in guilt or scarcity mode… and getting drained by it all – you get the picture!
Feels prob heavy even just reading…

This really is the year (the PSE New MOON in CAP next to SATURN on Jan 5 set the tone) to let the ‘Old Empire’ expire.
Whatever your inner / outer ‘Old Empire’ is that had its time.
Good to check in with shadows / blind spots…
Find a way of honouring the Old for the purpose it has had, and give it a conscious farewell,  a ceremony perhaps even. And / or notice how symptoms of it / people and experiences that represent simply fall away. 
Energy is freed up for the CANCERian creativity.
The Universe and Nature are infinitely creative.
A Goddess thing ❤

How about for a change: Play first, work later.
Or better yet: Work playfully, and play purposefully.

MERCURY in turnaround mode close to the CANCER North Node has hopefully shown us that getting the mind as an advocate for ‘shoulds’ out of the way, and leading with playful joy raises the vibration, and connects in fun, magical, and creative ways.

The breath represents the power of the spirit, animator of all living manifestations. Because the glass blower uses his breath to shape the glass vessels, he is a fitting symbol of how deeply any creative individual has to involve his total being in his creation. He is also using the fire of the spirit — transpersonal inspiration — or, in another sense, the fire of deeply felt emotions. Any creative activity which does not involve both the “breath” and the “fire” cannot transform into beautiful artworks — or indeed into any new form of order — the raw materials, remains of the past (the “sand”).

This fourth stage of the twenty-sixth sequence symbolically shows us the technique required in true and successful transforming activity. It always implies CREATIVE INTENSITY.

Well, yes, Creative Intensity it is, with the LEO New MOON, next to VENUS, linked to healing CHIRON & liberating URANUS and MARS, linked to transcending NEPTUNE & transformational PLUTO.
If you feel genuinely passionate about something involve your total Being into the Creation – with the Fire of Spirit. Cosmic energies are SO supportive now.
When Spirit, Passion, and Power are with the Creation we’re on Fire, and the Creation has a Life of its own.
We’re born to co-create with the infinitely creative Universe!

KEYNOTE: The focalization of complex inner potentialities in harmonic and concrete relationships.

We are dealing here with a special phase of the process of integration. The woman and the two men represent the three-fold aspect of the human personality, particularly at this stage when one of these aspects — the emotional life (the woman) — is facing the possibility, if not the inevitability, of relating itself to both the spiritual and the mental. This confrontation occurs on a small island of the South Seas, and “south” always refers symbolically to the strong and passionate impulses of human nature. Somehow the three-fold consciousness has to develop a harmonious and well-integrated modus vivendi (a specific way of life). If successful, this will release powerful energies and will lead to the next symbolic scene.

We have reached the fourth stage of the twenty-third five-fold sequence. As is most often the case, we are introduced here to a specific technique — or at least to a problem of technique — in living. The three human beings should become integrated; but the form this integration will take seems left open. It has to be a concrete type of integration in terms of the emotional and biological drives of human nature (an island of the South Seas) and the field of integration is “small.” The key to the problem of relationship should be the realization of INTER-DEPENDENCE.

 

So interesting to find this symbol show up ‘synchronistically’ as a message for MERCURY retro-to-direct – since the integration of the emotional (CANCER), mental (MERCURY) and spiritual dimensions (the SUN which is now leading again, and MERCURY following – the effect of the M-r process) is also the point of the MERCURY retro process – which is often trivialized as ‘bad news’ (for our overly mentally identified world…).
M-r has again been an adjustment showing us that all levels indeed are interdependent, and that rationalizing emotions (which MERCURY can tend to when it meets the CANCERian world of feeling) needs to shift. Feelings need to be compassionately and safely seen and met by the Heart and by Consciousness (the SUN).
MERCURY can help us now communicate them, and let the world know in a kind way how we feel.

Some Winters ago, I saw SIRIUS through a friend’s telescope, and felt immediately connected to the bright blue star.

On 08 / 08, SIRIUS a.k.a. The Dog Star (brightest star in the Dog constellation), a.k.a. The Scorcher, will rise again, before the SUN!
Dog Days of SUMMER are on NOW, and we’ve certainly had an ‘extra dose’ of scorching heat lately here in BC, and even more so elsewhere.

 

 

SIRIUS the ‘Dog Star’ isn’t only the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major, ‘the Dog’ but the brightest star in the night sky(!).

Day Out of Time & Mayan New Year of the White Magnetic Wizard (July 25 / 26)

Did you know? The Mayan New Year starts on July 26.
And the preceding day, July 25, is the Day Out of Time / Dia Fuera Del Tiempo.

Why?
This is what the 13-Moon Calendar / Foundation for the Law of Time says:

“TIME IS OF THE MIND.
TIME IS THE EVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS.
TIME IS THE UNIVERSAL FACTOR OF SYNCHRONIZATION.
TIME IS ART!”

The Day Out of Time is the Day to celebrate: Time is Art. 

And since Art is the basis of constructive Peace, this day is also celebrated as the International Peace through Culture Day.

Peace through Culture is a fundamental premise of the 13 Moon / 28-Day calendar. When you celebrate Time is Art you are promoting Peace through Culture.

(13 x 28 = 364) plus one extra day – July 25, the DAY OUT OF TIME.
The Day Out of Time is observed annually around the World as a day to celebrate Galactic Freedom, promoting Time is Art, and Peace through Culture. 

Biospheric Triad: One Earth – One Time – One People

The Banner of Peace is a key symbol of Galactic Culture.

The three red spheres of the Banner of Peace represent the Unity of Art, Science and Spirituality.
Red is the color of the blood of the one human family. The red circle around the three spheres in the centre represents the unity of culture and the cyclic nature of time.
In 1935 in Washington D.C., 22 nations signed the Roerich Pact, created by Nicholas Roerich to declare Peace through Culture.
As the saying has it, “Where there is Peace there is Culture, where there is Culture there is Peace.” 

This day is also marked by ceremonies of universal forgiveness; it’s a way of starting the New Year off on a clean, compassionate footing.

 

The 13-Moon New Year’s Day occurs on July 26 (Magnetic Moon 1).

Why is that?
This date was originally correlated to the conjunction of the SUN with SIRIUS Rising. The 13-Moon calendar is not just a SoLunar orbital measure, but is coded to galactic timing cycles, most notably the SIRIUS cycle. Through the 13-Moon calendar, human consciousness can enter into galactic consciousness.”

I couldn’t agree more:
TIME is CONSCIOUSNESS is what my work and mission is all about.
And Astrology represents also: TIME is ART.

 I do – right with the start of the LEO season – with co-creative purposeful, timeless Magic that’s guided by Soul Power.
Plus, MERCURY Retro (until July 31) – in a high & light vibration – is very wizardy, and loooves to attract synchronicities.
The White Wizard year is also very apropos SATURN / PLUTO in CAP – the end of an old Era / old ‘Empire’, calling for Co-Building of the New, lighter, and brighter World.
The exact alignment of the two Planets will be on Jan 12, 2020 – a big highlight of 2019 / 2020 (only every 37 years!). We already had a flavour of it this Spring, when they almost linked up. 

And yes, the Mayan New Year leads over to the LEO New MOON!

GURU PURNIMA Full Moon Blessings – with the ‘Astro Gurus’ JUPITER and SATURN

Dear Astro~News Reader,

indeed, there’s a lot to today’s Full MOON in CAP – CAN / Partial Lunar Eclipse!

Theme is (see Eclipse post): Transforming the Old – Being ONE Love!

Clearly, this Eclipse MOON with SATURN / South Node, VEGA, and next to PLUTO gets our attention, and has us release old attachments, judgment, and conditioning, to come back to the Light of Consciousness, and of the Loving Heart.

A la MERCURY retrograde, I found again this Ram Das article A Heavy Curriculum– very apropos the projections about change and judgment going along with it:
“If somebody is a problem for you, it’s not that they should change, it’s that you need to change. If they’re a problem for themselves that’s their karma, if they’re causing you trouble that’s your problem with yourself…..”

• What’s our job when people ‘are difficult’?
• How do our lunar emotions and needs (like, for them to love and appreciate us) have power over us, pull you into judgment and separation (SATURN) and out of Love?
• What needs to deepen to change (PLUTO) in this?

A heavy curriculum… (a la CAP)… yet lightened and transformed in the Heart.

I get it. Been there with family, other ‘karmic partners’, and even ‘random people’…

This Full Moon also helps us connect with ‘Ancient Essence’ – the essence of the Ancestors (PLUTO in CAP, super close to the MOON). Biological Ancestors, ancient Teachers, Ancestors of the Land…
Maybe their Spirit is speaking to us… helping us transform old (usually fear / separation based) energies that prevent us from being in the Love and in Heart Space.

 

In Hindu and Buddhist tradition, the Full Moon in July is the Guru Purnima / Guru Puja, dedicated to the inner and outer Guru.

Ganesh, the ‘Remover of Obstacles’ is invoked at the onset of a journey.

We could all use some Ganesh energy nowadays / -years…
SATURN (ruler of CAP) is presently IN CAP (Winter Solstice 2017 – Winter Solstice 2020) where karmic challenges for ‘the journey’ / the path arise.
Only to teach us what our inner blocks, judgments, and resistance are, and handing it over to PLUTO in CAP to help with the transformation – as things are irreversably evolving collectively.

Dense stuff, perhaps. Heavy curriculum?
May the Inner Teacher and light bringer show the way, and lead by example, just like the CAP goat slowly but surely climbing up the mountain, and the CAP SUN climbing up the Ecliptic.

 

“Ohhh, I don’t have a Guru, nor do I want one!” is what one might hear from us Westerners…

GU-RU means ‘simply’ “From Darkness to Light” – one who removes darkness and brings light. 

“Guru Purnima is celebrated on the day of the year when the SUN is closest to the Earth and the Full MOON reflects the brightest light.
It is a holy day, and an especially beneficial time to make fresh resolves for spiritual growth.
Truth is, the SUN is not closest to the Earth in Summer but in early January, however the CANCER SUN is so bright and strong and it’s early Summer in the Northern hemisphere.

Because the energies of the SUN and of the MOON in reflection are both at their peak, our subtle energy channels are unusually open and receptive to absorb spiritual energy. Practices done or begun these day will bring growth and auspiciousness in life.

Through sadhana (spiritual practice) and by following the Guru’s teachings, devotees can purify the mind to reflect the Atman / Universal Self, just as the MOON reflects the brightness of the SUN.

Traditionally, Guru Purnima is an auspicious time to begin four months of spiritual practice. Beginning at this time allows us to make great spiritual progress more quickly.”

 

Never too early, never too late, for spiritual practice, and connection with the inner Guru / Teacher / Mentor / Light Bringer, I’d say.

Time (ruled by CAP) in fact can be suspended, stretched, and can dissolve and ‘disappear’ in immersion with what IS  (PLUTO points us to ‘that’).
The Guru is a bridge into vastness, spaciousness, and freedom.

 

In Astrology, the ‘Guru’ is associated with the Archetypes of JUPITER, the Mentor, and SATURN, the Teacher.

Presently, JUPITER is retro and in its own SAG domain (until Dec 3, 2019), this year in triple square with mystical NEPTUNE in its own PISCEAN domain.

Gifts and happiness (JUPITER in SAG) require surrender and letting go, which leads to Unity (NEPTUNE in PI).
Once we SEE the benefits (JUPITER in SAG) deep gratitude and an abundant life are the results.

SATURN, this year in mid-CAP, quintessential integrity teacher, is also very supportive at this Guru Puja time, since it forms two relationships with transpersonal Archetypes:

• A triple sextile this year with NEPTUNE in PISCES – the teaching and on-going practice is surrender and connection.
  Flow and ease in the ‘achievement’ follow.
• An almost-exact conjunction with PLUTO (strongest in May / June 2019, and exact conjunct on Jan 12, 2020.
  As we’re called / pressured to complete and be done with what’s old and doesn’t serve Humanity, Planet Earth, and all Beings, esp. abusive, disrespectful top-down control and power, we’re also called to Build the New from the inside-out – a caring and compassionate world, based on Love – the ‘top priority’ that IS.

Have I mentioned?
Almost all the planetary Archetypes mentioned are presently retro:
MERCURY, JUPITER, SATURN, CHIRON, URANUS (going retro on Aug 11), and PLUTO!
Excellent for inward-turning movement….

Under PLUTO in SATURN ruled CAP (2008 – 2023), and NEPTUNE in PISCES (since 2011 / 2012, until 2018 / 2026), so many traditional spiritual teachings and practices from our biological and Spirit ancestry have reached our modern cultures and become ‘mainstream’.
The ‘trick’ is to really be consistent and apply them into our daily and most challenging situations – says SATURN in CAP.

Different accesses and avenues for everyone, yet light is always light.

Eclipse Full MOON in CAP – CAN, with VEGA & SIRIUS (July 16 / 17): Transforming the Old – Being ONE Love!

Dear Star Being,

Feeling her in you?

What a Lunar Infusion coming up and already extending her effects for a while – over Spring and early Summer:

The Full MOON in CAP – CANCER tomorrow (2:38 pm PDT) will be a Partial Lunar Eclipse (not visible in the Americas but in effect everywhere on Planet Earth) AND also close to SATURN, PLUTO, and: VEGA the Harp Star – associated with Orpheus!

Here’s some beautiful mythology about VEGA.

It’s a Release Eclipse though…
Sounds like old Love Stories of loss, separation, and fear / control are ripe now to go through the ‘Underworld’ of PLUTO, to be transformed into shining our pure SoUlar Light from within.
We are the ONE Love! 

 

What does the Eclipse FULL MOON evoke?

BALANCE is a key theme, since it’s an opposition.
The Full Moon is the ‘Mother of Oppositions’, calling for balance & integration.
And this one comes with SO many other Planetary Archetypes, Nodes and the Stars VEGA & SIRIUS, all on the CANCER – CAPRICORN opposition axis.

The height of the Eclipse (which you can watch via the Time & Date telescopes if you can’t see the Red Moon directly) will be at 2:30 pm PDT tomorrow July 16.
The FULL MOON will be exact just 8 min later, at 2:38 pm PDT.

Take a look at the Star Map aka chart of the Eclipse:

 

The CANCER – CAPRICORN axis is very dominant in the Astro ‘Field’ – and lots of heavenly bodies are all wrapping around the Nodal Axis in CAP (Lunar South Node) – CAN (Lunar North Node). 

 

• The Lunar North Node is with VENUS (their yearly union is on July 17), and the SUN in CANCER, close to SIRIUS – plus even MERCURY retro will sneak back into CANCER, on July 19.

 

• And the Lunar South Node in CAP connects this Spring / Summer with SATURN retro which is this year close to VEGA , and with PLUTO retro close-by (SATURN / PLUTO have been stationary and travelling near each other all Spring. In the Summer their ‘lock’ is loosening. Their exact union will be Jan 12, 2020 – only every about 38-years! Now that already looks quite heavy, rocky, unmoving. Buuuut…
  SATURN – PLUTO constitute together a cycle of societal structural breakdown, purging of the shadow, and rebuilding from the core / basics. Their last unions were in 1947 in LEO and 1982 in late LIBRA.
  The present one 2019 / 2020 in late CAP also approaches PLUTO in the U.S. Independence chart. The U.S. will have their first PLUTO Return(!!!) since 1776 in the years 2020 – 2023. Full circle from establishing a new nation while breaking away from the British Empire (Britain is ruled by CAP, can’t you tell?)… The American Empire is revealing its shadows – to transform. We, the People….?
  The FULL MOON – partially eclipsed by the Earth Shadow – will be next to PLUTO retro in late CAP. The MOON / PLUTO union will be tomorrow July 16 at 10:16 am PDT, only about 4 hrs before the Eclipse / Full MOON at 2:30 / 2:38 pm PDT!

 

As Eclipses always do, this Partial Lunar Eclipse Full Moon accentuates the Karmic Nodes.
Which are since Nov 2018 until June 2020 in CAP (South Node, releasing of its Shadow) – Let the Old Empire Expire – esp. since the Partial Solar Release Eclipse in CAP on Jan 5 – CANCER (North Node – embracing its Light) – Finding Home, and, with the Total Solar ‘Seed’ Eclipse in CAN next to Sirius on July 2: Initiation into Liberation.

The Nodes in the CAP – CAN: Because we Care…

 

The exact SoLunar polarity from Earth perspective is calling for Balance & Integration.

And, there’s significance to the fact that the Earth is casting a Shadow on the Moon.

BALANCE of what?

The CAP – CAN axis is about safety and security issues.
To tending to feelings and needs (CAN), while getting along with less, and working with resources in a timely manner (CAP).

How can we create a balanced relationship between these apparently opposing orientations?

• CAN:
  Gentleness, compassion, nurturing our own and others’ needs, family, tribe, finding belonging, going with rhythms and cycles, protecting Nature and our loved and little ones with loving care.
• CAP:
  Being mature and in integrity, taking on leadership / leading by example, working with priorities, resiliently, respectfully, using time and resources well.

 

The two sides of the equation don’t have to be a dilemma but can synergistically cooperate.

SATURN in CAP asks us to take responsibility for our part in humanity whose greedy power (PLUTO) and control / authority (SATURN) structures have been exploiting and abusing Mother Earth (shadow of CAP) and her human, animal, and plant Beings that need protection and care (CANCER).
To have boundaries, disengage from this shadow wherever we can, and to Be the Change and the Ones (of the more and more) who Care. What matters is consistency and leading by example, rather than judging and blaming. Makes us feel better and more empowered too…

‘Just’ resisting and blaming external authority and power structures (SATURN / PLUTO) is not the way forward. It still feeds their energy field by giving them attention, acknowledges them energetically, and basically responds / reacts in an adolescent manner (SATURN retro).
How about taking responsibility, claiming self-authority (SATURN retro), and ‘outgrowing’ them, by co-building new and better, more compassionate and humane structures that take care of needs more directly and on an equal level, rather than the old fossilized top-down institutionalized world?!

 

 

How can the Full MOON / PLE highlighting the CAP – CANCER axis affect and inspire us personally?

• Where / in what ways can we receive nurturing, satisfaction, and reward from being creative and resourceful and through working with what’s already available to you (CAP), rather than buying from / into the system that makes it convenient to consume (and promises status a la CAP) – but at what price?! 
  Here’s to ‘grass roots’ gardening, cooking, and to (re-?)learning / applying traditional home / building / repair skills!
  Let’s consume less.
  And have more time to play & create more!
• Where-else can we respond to what’s sold to us by: “Thank you, I (already) got this.”, and be content with less? A la Refuse – Reuse – Repurpose – Recycle
• Which wasteful (time, energy, resources) habits can we get out of, and establish higher vibrational ones that are more deeply satisfying?
• How can we take more time doing what we’re best at?
• Play and creative fun beat the heavy CAP vibes of ‘no time for that’…
  Maybe ‘even’ shifting the conditioned paradigm (SATURN in CAP) to: Play first, work later.
  Works great for me these days / months since the Nodes are in CAP – CAN.
  Play puts me in an inspired and relaxed work mode, plus I get to see that ‘work’ and clients come to me not because I work so hard but because they love me and love what I offer, and how it affects them. And everything works so much more smoothly – and playfully – with resonance and connection 🙂

 

If your birthday is between July 10 and 20, or your MOON, AC, or Planets are in late CANCER, CAPRICORN yet also late ARIES and LIBRA, here are some questions to inquire, or do a ceremony around: 

• How can your needs be met, and your life be sustainable, in the context of the structures you are living in? 
• Do you need to make foundational changes? In the areas of life relating to (esp.) CAP / (yet also) CANCER in your chart (Houses)?
• Do you need to downsize, to drop excess ‘weight’ (incl the weight of responsibility to manage what you got), to make life simpler, and have all that you need – plus more time?!

• What would be the smartest way of resourcefully adapting (late CAP has a VIRGO undertone) in a way that nurtures you, resonates with you, and puts you at ease (late CANCER has a PISCES undertone)?

 

CANCER – CAPRICORN is the axis of Family / Tribe and Elders / Leaders.

• How can important themes round home, family, belonging, safety, emotional needs, and on the other hand (is it a dilemma?) building of sustaining structures, responsibly working with time and resources, self-sustainability, and ‘s-aging well’ be reconciled?
• In a time where nuclear and extended families in the traditional sense seem to lose their cohesiveness (or will there be a renaissance?) – what’s your world of home and family transforming into? Where and what is your family and home, in essence? Where is your tribe?
• Who are the Elders and leaders you turn to for guidance? Who are your Spirit Elders?
  Your inner Elder might be waiting to connect with you.

The SUN in CANCER, activated by the Total Solar Eclipse ‘light switch’ on July 2 is about Liberation with Love (SIRIUS – VENUS) – to radiate from our self-nurturing Light which IS our Home.

Leading by example (SATURN in CAP) is then natural – with our radiant Beingness we can inspire and ‘give permission’ to others to do / BE that too.

 

Which other Planetary Archetypes are in the Cosmic ‘Field’ / ‘Weather’?

JUPITER retro in its most natural expression of SAG this year makes it easier to access heart-full inspiration, to see how love & gratitude elevate vibrations, and to have trust in the abundant Universe – while SATURN in CAP notoriously gravitates to seriousness & scarcity.
So – find the YES of your Heart Path, with JUPITER in SAG!
Let go of anything sticky you got hooked on, and connect in the ONE – says JUPITER triple-square with NEPTUNE in PISCES this year (was Jan and June, again Sept 21).
Move forward with confidence and lovingly a la MARS in LEO trine JUPITER in SAG (exact July 25).

CHIRON in early ARIES is this month a stationary focus as the Centaur Archetype went retro on July 8 (until Dec 12). Calling us to heal old / early wounds, and find the Inner Medicine of being authentic.
CHIRON gets a boost from MERCURY retro / MARS in early LEO these days – Roar, and show who you are!
Not based on old stories but naturally-so in the NOW.

URANUS in early TAU is just coming out of a square from MERCURY retro / MARS in early LEO (first half of July) – maybe impulsive roaring recently (was it a territorial / ownership thing?) didn’t get you what you / your ego wanted. Back on the board of life’s game to find love, attention and affection from within first…
When MERCURY post-retro in LEO squares URANUS again on Aug 16 we hopefully came through a lot mentally, to get to really expressing from embodied freedom and and natural radiance.

CHIRON goes retro in early ARIES (July 8 – Dec 12) – Healing through Inner Medicine and Authenticity

Can you feel it?
It’s a CHIRON-ic week and month, dear Astro~News Reader!

Quick flash-back for context:
After some back-and-forth last year, CHIRON crossed over the Spring Equinox a.k.a. ‘Emergence’ Point on FEB 18, to ‘Come Alive’ in ARIES.

CHIRON in ARIES connects us with the Medicine of being authentic!
And in Society, we see brave Young Warriors showing up for their Future, showing us:
The Time to act is NOW.

 

Howzit going thus far, with CHIRON in ARIES?

Here are some themes you might recognize, esp. if YOU have early ARIES SUN / MOON / AC, or Planets – or even CHIRON (born 1968 / 69):

• All is fresh, raw, and NEW in ARIES.
• Doing something for the first time – setting a precedent for yourself – try it on!
• Even if you don’t have partners or allies, going ahead by yourself anyway can be healing.
• Being in a New World.
• Finding the Medicine of being Authentically YOU!
• Emerging from the Collective Consciousness.
• Taking Initiative.

Which all can be scary, and / or hugely liberating.

 

CHIRON the Centaur turned Warrior

CHIRON brings up ‘wounds’ and awkwardness, and we feel like an outsider – in ARIES when we show up or stand up for ourselves, and for what matters to us.

It might be also awkward if we didn’t have role models, or their teachings don’t apply to THIS. 

Yet, what the heck? says ARIES, It’s my life, this is ME.
Early ARIES is a Warrior / Survivor.
All about the NOW.

That’s what ARIES is all about: NOW THIS!
Alive, alert, letting life force emerge in every moment. Time for fresh beginnings – or for simply being present with what’s always NEW.

Show up in a new way, try out what you haven’t before, not in a long time, or don’t have a ‘model’ or comparison for. If it ‘doesn’t work’ try something else (ARIES doesn’t mind starting anew). The essence of being innovative.
Anger (an ARIES expression) can be your vulnerability (incl. passive-aggressive modes if anger isn’t / wasn’t ok) yet also guide you to your Medicine.
MARS, the ruler of ARIES now in brave and self-loving LEO (since July 1), and in the first half of July close to MERCURY (which is retro since today July 7) can help with bravely facing old anger (maybe where there hasn’t been enough self love).

Those of you born with CHIRON in ARIES (Apr – Oct 1968, and Feb 1969 – March 1977) know a bit (or a lot) about the CHIRONic side described above…
For you, round age 50 CHIRON will make its Return, and your ‘original wound / Medicine’ comes full circle.
All of us (independent of age) esp. if we have SUN, MOON, AC, or Planets in early ARIES (or triggered by it, in LIBRA, CAN or CAP) we’ll get a CHIRON ‘kick’ too, to step forward, authentically as we are, esp. in the area of life related to our ARIES House in the chart:

With CHIRON now going retro (each year for 5 months, nowadays July – Dec) we’re called to go backward to trace early wounds (ARIES relates to the beginning of Life – even literally Baby state) that we might have internalized. 
And to find the Medicine that meets those wounds.

Examples:

• Feeling left alone – being all by yourself.
• Needing to assert yourself to be noticed.
• Being in an aggressive-stressful environment – possibly experienced by the baby like a ‘war zone’.
• Being with a family / parent who’s all new to parenting and ‘makes it up as s/he goes’ – which can of course be stressful for the baby.

This is the month (also with MERCURY now retro and going back into caring CANCER) to meet and dialogue with the ‘early YOU’ with compassion, checking in how his / her Start in Life has caused wounds that still inform his / her present stage, what is needed to heal those wounds, and how ‘walking with the wounds’ have brought Medicine for yourself and for others.

What I’m also learning is that CHIRON in ARIES, esp. in its retro movement, has to do with Healing early stages in Humanity that created the seed of what needs to change now.
As well as re-connecting with the Medicine of earlier phases in History, as in: Ancient / early Shamans.

VENUS in CANCER (July 3 – 27): Loving Gentleness and Care

Dear Cosmic Souls,

Ahhh – a soothing balance to the sharp MARS – URANUS energy that’s kicking in next week, esp. round July 11:

The GEMINI – CANCER Cusp – a Fairie vibe

Tomorrow July 3, VENUS will move into sweet CANCER (where the LOVE Goddess will dwell until July 27):
Show your love through gentleness and care. And if your feelings change like the tides dance with it.

Literally being by and IN the Water is a big draw now. It can help relax and ‘smooth’ us out, after sooo much Eclipse stir-up, plus re: the MARS – URANUS thrill that’s kicking in next week.
With the airy fairy VENUS in GEMINI energy since June 8 we enjoyed buzzing around, interested in many things (maybe tooo many, and being overwhelmed, as VENUS square NEPTUNE in PI and opp. JUPITER in SAG round June 23 / 24 could have shown.

Now, as VENUS enters CANCER, we might go 2 steps forward (“yes, I’m attracted to that”), 1 step back (“let me check in how I really feel about it”), or even 2 steps back, and back off altogether from ‘ideas’ that sounded good and were attractive, under VENUS in MERCURY ruled GEMINI.

And, hey:
Home is where the Heart is – ever so true and important, under VENUS in CANCER!
Esp. the CANCERian sides in us might feel drawn to home and family, and to every being and place that makes us feel like we belong.

Plus, our Planetary / AC / MC / Nodal energies in CANCER will be more magnetic and attractive this month too.

 

So let’s take it easy and gentle, and get a felt sense of her ‘Planet Dates’ this month.
They’re most ‘UP’ between July 16 – 18, round the Full MOON / PLE.

VENUS enters CANCER

 

JULY 8
Not even one week ‘at home’ in CANCER, VENUS goes into sextile with URANUS freshly in TAU, and into square with CHIRON freshly in ARIES – while CHIRON goes retro that day too.
What kind of tribe / family is this?
Supportive of freedom and non-clingy / non-possessive vibes.
Even though it can be awkward, raw and vulnerable to connect with our feelings authentically Healing comes from it.

 

JULY 16 – Day of the Full MOON / PLE
VENUS connects with SIRIUS & the North Node in CANCER, and goes into quincunx with JUPITER retro in SAG, and opposite VEGA / SATURN retro / the South Node in CAP.
A dilemma between our sensitivity in relationships (which likely goes back to early childhood / family dynamics), and the need to step up to the occasion – perhaps set boundaries, and in general show up with self respect?
Instead of retreating into the safe shell and giving in to fear based behaviour (“What do they say?” “Will they reject / punish me? / exile me from the tribe?”), let’s take care of our needs and find freedom in this. Let’s be open to others about our feelings, while being the mature grown-up, and do what’s required. Plus, the ‘Old Empire’ is on the way out anyway….

 

JULY 18
VENUS in Water Trine with ‘her higher octave’ NEPTUNE retro in PISCES.
Gentleness and flow allows to connect and to release – with Love. Be like the Ocean.

 

JULY 21 – last day of CANCER 2019, and the M-r half-way point aka ‘Day of Enlightening Insight’
VENUS opposes PLUTO retro in CAP.
You might feel in an all-or-nothing mode, esp. in relationships that meet your core – and shadow.
Or maybe something needs to change, and return to what matters most – and to the Heart & Soul?

Total SoUlar Eclipse in CANCER with Sirius (July 2) – Initiation into Liberation!

Dear Star Beings in Human Form,
Let’s welcome the SUN SIRIUS Days of the Year!

Did you know that from Earth perspective early July every year the SUN in mid CANCER lines up with SIRIUS, the beautiful bright ‘Dog Star’?

The SUN meets SIRIUS (‘located’ between 14 and 15° CAN) round July 5 – 7. This year – today! – even as a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE (its path goes over South America, esp. Chile & Argentina)!

Interesting that Canada, the U.S., and France all celebrate their ‘birthdays’ nowadays… July 1, 4, and 14.
Liberation is an important theme with SIRIUS.

Wishing us all Sirian downloads for deep liberation from old conditionings and restrictions that don’t serve us anymore!

SIRIUS is such a majestic blue / multicoloured star…!

Some of us had the privilege to view SIRIUS via my friend Stephen’s telescope a few winters ago, when it was visible in the night sky.

SIRIUS

Presently, SIRIUS is from Earth perspective next to the SUN / invisible in the sky which Ancient Egyptians considered the ’70 days in the Underworld’.

As the SUN ‘moves’ further in the Zodiac, from CANCER to mid-LEO, SIRIUS will rise again in the morning before Sunrise, calculated for 08 / 08 – the time of the Egyptian New Year, with the flooding of the Nile.
We’re also in the SIRIUS ‘Dog Days of Summer’ between now and then…

The TOTAL SOLAR ‘SEED’ ECLIPSE at 10°37′ CAN today July 2 activates SIRIUS – what a ‘Powerhouse’!
And at the Partial LUNAR ECLIPSE on July 16 the MOON in CAP will be with PLUTO, and close to SATURN and Vega, and the SUN with VENUS and SIRIUS!

Uhhh – what a strong activation of the CANCER – CAPRICORN axis – which we’ll see again at the Full Moon / Partial LUNAR ECLIPSE on July 16 – via SUN / MOON / Planets, wrapping around karmic Nodes!

Yes, when Full Moons / New Moons happen in the ‘seasons’ of the Nodal signs – 2019 in CAP – CAN – we get Eclipses.
The TSE ‘Seed’ Eclipse today July 2 in CAN with the Lunar North Node & SIRIUS “Initiation into Liberation” is the complementary one to the PSE / ‘Release’ Eclipse on Jan 5 / 6 in CAP with the Lunar South Node (“Let the Old Empire Expire”).

SATURN & PLUTO this year almost united, and wrapping round the SN this Spring / early Summer (their exact union is scheduled for Jan 12, 2020!) make sure we can’t miss where the ‘Old Empire’ sits and has destructive effects that have to transform – in society (esp. via irresponsible and destructive exploitation of the Earth’s resources, climate crisis, disregard of the concerns of the Next Seven Generations – see Fridays for Future Movement) and in our own private & inner lives – where is your ‘Old Empire’?!

The TSE ‘Seed’ Eclipse brings relief and a new approach:
Rather than bumping up against power / authority structures we say NO to, with low CAP vibrations of judgment, resistance and frustration, we’re invited to start with a liberating approach of going where compassion, love, care and gentleness invites us in – an energy of the ‘Good Mother’, and find liberation in tribal (of all kinds) togetherness.
When we belong together we create together – the CAN – LEO continuum.
And Mother Goddess energy is here for us – we can always call upon her – and emBody her!

As MERCURY goes retro / back into CAN, and almost exactly opposite SATURN retro / PLUTO retro in CAP we’re reminded of how important our inner Self Talk is, and what the Inner Child has to do with it. Let’s not perpetuate dynamics of authority and control (SATURN / PLUTO) that have run their course and don’t serve anymore – if they ever have… And focus on what love and care would say or do.

What would be a breakthrough, a liberation for you at this point – likely starting with your internalized dialogues and thoughts?

 

On that note – very apropos… let’s tune in with a master & model for Compassion in Action (despite having been subject to totalitarian regime):

Feeling like Play Play Play?
And like Roaring too?!

MARS just crossed the ‘Creativity Point’ (as I call it) from CANCER to LEO today, July 1, yayyy!
And guess what?
Fiery LEO is a better playground for MARS than sensitive CANCER in the last weeks since mid-May (see blog post in review) where it might have gotten a bit ‘claustrophobic’ for the Martian journey – the ‘Warrior’ Archetype needed some active outlets in the fields of caring, self care, and perhaps literally indoor / home action / work (rather than anger and home violence even).
Did you do some Spring / early Summer cleaning and purging, and ride the cosmic waves of MARS – SATURN – PLUTO mid-June?
I did, in a big basement clearing project. Feeling literally lighter and relieved now.

YEP, double fiery now, with fiery MARS in fiery LEO, until Aug 17. A sizzling Summer.
Maybe also more dry / drought / wildfire scenarios, sadly…
MERCURY is now also in LEO – to go retro from July 7 on.
More LEO Fire to come soon: The SUN will LEO on July 22, VENUS on July 27, and the New Moon in LEO to follow, on July 31 – definitely a ‘Hot Spot’ time end of July!

First things first:

Today’s MARS shift into LEO gives a boost of strength and confidence.
LEO seems like a fun and dynamic place for MARS to be in, and can nicely heat up the Summer with renewed passion. Caramba!

It brings out the macho or macha in us who wants to strut, play, and dance, and show his / her colours. An originally creative impulse is certainly fun, yet it can easily turn into ego gratification drives. Watch out for those.
MERCURY retro helps keep them in check…

MARS activates the ‘Sphinx Point’ and goes into VIRGO.
Do what you love, help others with it, and be self sufficient with it.

 

 

MARS in LEO until mid-Aug activates for you as part of one of the LEO ‘mini generations’…:

• PLUTO (for the PLUTO in LEO boomers, born June 1939 – Aug 1957):
  Could get a bit intense if you run into power conflicts with others.
  Rather use the energy to bravely check in what’s going on in deeper, core issues, and why there is such a charge around being important, being seen and loved?

• SATURN (for the 3 generations with SATURN in LEO, born Aug 1946 – Sept 1948; Sept – Dec 1975 + June 1976 – July 1978; July 2005 – Aug 2007):
