The retro phase (Apr 1 – 25) helped us on a ‘meta level’ to stop and notice what the mind is doing, what we react to, and become more aware of where conflicts and wars start.

The grounding effect of MERCURY in TAU can bring us back to embodied common (nowadays quite un-common) sense. I’m all for that.
Patience is a good TAU virtue. Can you allow for it naturally, by relaxing and slowing down the pace?
With MERCURY in TAU (quite the shift from ARIES), our mind & attention can more easily slow down, and turn to watching the mind, rather than getting swept away by mental whirlwind effects, esp. during the M-r phase in ARIES, in the super-charged month of April.

Clearly, all sensual / sensate delights are in the mental spotlight with MERCURY in TAU – and the super Taurean window currently.
It’s also an excellent time to learn more and communicate about the Body, Biology, Nature, and Mother Earth.
Those ‘Comfortable’ Attachments… Why do we get so attached?
TAURUS is fixed Earth energy we can settle into. The first fixed sign, and the first Earth sign in the Zodiac. Yet, if we get too attached / the energy gets too stagnant, we get stuck in the enjoyable, comfortable, or simply habitual.
Of course, MERCURY in TAU can become stubborn too, and insist on sticking to one’s mind-set.
The mind habitually attaches itself to things that we have an affinity to, desire for, or aversion against, and presents them as interesting / desirable to engage in (almost like a shop keeper presenting their window display) or resist – very Taurean. Our habit is to give in, and engage mentally with those attractive / hideous ‘offers’. Our job and in fact freedom(!) is ‘just’ not to buy (into) them.

Suffering comes from attachments. What brings freedom?!
First step would be to acknowledge our attachment to getting what we want, or resistance to being stuck with what we don’t want, and to realize that it’s the attachment that causes the suffering, not the ‘thing / aspiration / situation’ in itself.
How can we release / free ourselves from attachment?
The realization and (yes, well, constant) reminders of how it all works is already a huge freedom catalyst – for me anyway. Basically noticing: Hey, I’m doing this to myself. It’s not the situation, it’s what my mind makes out of it that causes the frustration.
Also, a key piece is to embrace impermanence. SO up now with SATURN in PI (March 7, 2023 – Feb 14, 2026) – approaching NEPTUNE (2025 / 26).
No pain, problem, discomfort lasts forever. No pleasure & enjoyment either. Let’s not get worked up, graspy or resistant, and relax in the ‘storm’.Which naturally allows for the liberating process to go where it needs to go.
MERCURY in TAU goes into sextile w. SATURN in PI (May 27). We can turn to, and feed ourselves with what we truly value & enjoy – without compulsion, attachment, or other fixations, and it’s time to let our ‘hooks & hang-ups’ go (SATURN in PI). Nature always helps so much with letting go of sticky attachments.
What can Alignment with MERCURY in TAURUS look like?
* Tuning into what brings us true intrinsic joy (not derived from ‘getting’ and consuming more on the outer level).
* Re-connecting with, and communicating about what we truly value.
*Sloooowing down, esp. mentally, tuning into Body & our Senses, and following their messages. Which can re-attune us, and shift a lot quite fast – paradoxically.
* Asking ourselves: Where do I physically belong? Where do I need to ground myself right now?

Another Super New Moon is coming!
And a super TAUREAN one that-is.
The last of 5 Super New Moons in a row. Yes, New Moons can be Super Moons as well, not just the more ‘famous’ Super Full Moons (since they stand out visually).
Astrologically, SuperMoons with their prominence enhance the lunar effect – and for TAU, it’s all about planting seeds… This time doubly relevant – since magnifying JUPITER is also near the NM in the Zodiac (well – with erratic & liberating URANUS in-between).
Spring is in full bloom – it’s TAURUS Season What a miracle Life IS!And how fragile…
The fine-tuned balance & inter-relationship in bio systems, and in any living Being as part of nature – what an expression of divine intelligence… not to be taken for granted. Finding balance and making new authentic choices is a big deal now, as the Nodal Axis is in LIBRA – ARIES (July 13, 2023 – Jan 29 – 2025).
Once again, as over the last years / decade, I heard from my European friends about their springy temperature roller-coasters (up to 10 – 15º from one day to the next) / lack of weather balance / stability – quite unsettling.
Here on the West Coast, it’s been unseasonably cool and very cloudy. Yet once the Sun is out the rays are very strong.
The Earth and all Her life forms (associated with TAURUS) are doing their best to adapt and compensate for the exponential impact of humans. Not so much by individuals (good old blame game), actually but mostly by big biz, esp. military-industrial interests pushing for greedy & ruthless abuse of precious resources while killing co-beings, and destroying ecosystems.
Insane experimental geo engineering (also an expression of URANUS in TAU) ‘solutions’ / cop-outs / cover-ups won’t do it. Once again, the proposed cure makes things worse, as humans disruptively experiment (shall we say: mess!) with natural processes.
The impact on the biosphere of all this reckless ‘playing with fire’ is already backfiring on all life forms, incl. humanity.
Bottom line: The TAUREAN organic / natural world is in peril.
URANUS, these years in TAU (2019 – 2026): Are enough Earthlings waking up to the unsustainable disruption of Nature and of organic human nature – in sooo many ways!?
SO much TAUREAN energy is ON, these days, esp. with JUPITER now in TAU too, in its ‘grand finale’ connected with URANUS on Apr 20. Their union will be fully catalyzed via the TAU New Moon.

The New Moon at the most Taurean days of the year (May 7 / 9) wraps up the year of JUPITER in TAU (since mid-May 2023). Have you received the gifts & inspirations that come from The Value of Nature & Everything Organic?
Good to slow down, enjoy, and also: Let the Eclipse Season energies of turbulent April settle.
The MOON is exalted in TAURUS – so nourishing and comforting.
Mid-to-end of TAU where the SUN is already, and the New Moon will be, has a TAU / VIR undertone. Here, it’s about doing joyful & valuable work and service – esp. with URANUS: Grounding the Light.
JUPITER and URANUS stand out of course, in the Taurean configuration.
Both planetary Archetypes are about Freedom.
For JUPITER, it’s rather a freedom to grow, expand, be in abundance & happy (re: TAU, think: big beautiful garden / jungle / paradise).
For URANUS, it’s for starters a freedom from anything that can chain the Spirit (re: TAU, think: freedom from attachments – to stuff, habits, identity, unhealthy relationships you got stuck in), perhaps a freedom for… (re-inventing yourself). Ultimately, unconditional freedom (without a contrast / opposite) – which is true freedom.
LUNA activating Uranus: EmBodied Freedom & Light
The Super New Moon will pass URANUS & JUPITER after newness, on May 8. Their contact may be not SO comfortable – but important – for the sake of embodying new Freedom & Light.
The SUN this year passes URANUS on May 13 – to bring consciousness & light to the rather instinctive & body based life, and to help with paradigm shifts into freedom. URANUS likes to surprise (even shock): Freedom is not what you thought it was… and there’s always another level.
All of you born early-to-mid May prob. know what I’m talking about. You would have (had) the once-in-a-lifetime transit from URANUS to your SUN. And it was even enhanced by JUPITER, this Spring.
End of TAU (for URANUS 2024 – 2026) has a VIRGO undertone: Disruption / destabilization of the well-being of nature – and of our bodies in consequence, of the economy / nutrition (like: literally: food prices). Yet also wake-up calls when it comes to breaking unhealthy habits, and getting out of our complacent comfort zones. It’s liberating to be even more ‘radically aligned’ with Higher Purpose, and to practice living by that.
Awakening to EmBody Freedom & Renaissance of Earth Consciousness. Wake Up Earthlings!
We’ve been in for all kinds of shocks & surprises & paradigm shifts in the last years, with URANUS the disruptor / liberator / Awakener Archetype in TAU. No boredom. No status quo. No stability / security. No business as usual.
Yet, a Point of No Return can turn into a liberating Turning Point…

Lots of ARIES ‘in the Background’fuelling the TAU NM
The North Node is now half-way through AR (until end of Jan 2025): Good to go for it anyway, even if you’re the first or only one. The LIBRA SN on the other hand shows us how we loose energy when we compare ourselves, try too hard to please, look for love at the wrong places, and compromise ourselves.
MERCURY post-retro in ARIES meets and passes the North Node & CHIRON once more (#3 of 3 alignments, pre-, during, and post M-r). Are you thinking in new ways about ‘the situation’? Can you be more present, and communicate more boldly, directly, and authentically? Which can be healing.
Pluto’s Involvement in the New Moon
PLUTO, now in very early AQ (ruled by URANUS) is freshly retro, since May 2, evoking Inner Soul Power to Change
Besides MERCURY, now back ‘on track’, and as of 05/05 out of the post-retro ‘storm’, PLUTO is the first slow moving Planet that turned retro, after a long-ish No-Retro phase since mid-Jan where outer events rolled out fast & furiously – and have gained a momentum of their own.
The CAP – AQ cusp gets activated by PLUTO this year. The interface of hierarchies, structures, governments, history (CAP), and people, systems, future (AQ).
PLUTO will re-enter CAP one more time, Sept 1 – Nov 19. Time to tie up unfinished business, integrate, process, transform / evolve,and make necessary changes,while being empowered (PLUTO), responsible, and in our own authority, when it comes to laws, and established structures (CAP). Interesting timing, with the U.S. Elections (and PLUTO in CAP in their country chart).
Flash-back: PLUTO end of CAP was hugely ON in 2020, compliments the SATURN – PLUTO conj. on Jan 12, w. the triple JUPITER – PLUTO conj. following. What a Turning Point year that was! Hindsight is 20:20.
The Old Establishment / Empire / ‘Operating Systems’ expire as they’ve shown their fear based power / control shadow (evolutionary PLUTO in CAP), while the new systems can be dehumanizing (shadow of AQ). AI can’t replace Nature’s intelligence and soulful life.
PLUTO will leave CAP ‘for good’ on Nov 19, to enter AQ for the next 19 y(!). A lot coming up, as to how systems affect / change Humanity.
With PLUTO retro now (May 2 – Oct 11), it’s time to roll back on giving Power away / delegating / projecting it to / letting it be hijacked by systems (AQ) that are built by the ‘ones in charge’ (CAP).
To find true Soul Power (PLUTO) from within, and emBody Freedom (AQ / URANUS in TAU), based on Natural Law (CAP).
I call the CAP – AQ cusp the ‘Prometheus’ or ‘Light Leader’ Point:

Earth is our Mother. We are of the Earth.
We are Children of the Earth, and inhabit an EarthBody. Let’s truly treat the Earth and our Body as our Home that we love and care for (rather than an exploitation ground).
*…other than the distorted dehumanizing / disrespectful expression you’ve prob. all read / heard by now: “You own nothing, and you’ll be happy” – that marketing slogan was retracted again, as thankfully lots of people woke up to the insanity of it. A low vibe expression of URANUS in TAU – not from the ground-up / inside-out, but ‘ordained’ from the top down. In this case, once again, the ‘cure’ / suggested ‘solution’ doesn’t treat the issue but makes things worse – as it doesn’t come from an organic, soulful place.
Just mentioning it for contrast’s sake. Let’s not give this ‘program’ / ‘spell’ any more energy. And be unconditionally free & happy.

The Corona Crisis with its overall health impacts, social restrictions and atmosphere of fear has been quite stressful for humanity. It had deep effects, and in essence, humanity hasn’t gone back to ‘normal’.
So important to BE in Nature – where the Medicine of fresh Air, of soUlar Vitamin D, of Springy re-greening and awakening can be found. Sooo good for our wellness, vitality & happiness!

Where in your birth (or relocation) chart is (esp. mid-to-end of) TAURUS?

Deep dark PLUTO is stationary now, since it went retro yesterday May 2 – at 02°06′ AQ (until Oct 11). That’s the furthest it goes into AQ this year.
PLUTO is not quiiite done yet with CAP, and will (in retro motion) re-enter Sept 1 – Nov 19 (the timing, re: U.S. Elections!), for unfinished business.
This is the last transition year of PLUTO, on the CAP – AQ cusp. It’ll enter AQ fully on Nov 19 (until 2043 / 44!)…

…lies within, and societal Change for a better future is a collaborative endeavour… Given the developments of our times, where top-down structures (CAP) have amply shown their shadow, incl. often historically entrenched destructive ‘control issues’ (PLUTO), and things can’t go on like this.
If your SUN / MOON / AC / Planets / Nodes are round 0 – 3° AQ (or TAU, LEO, SCO!) you probably feel the intensity and pressure.
A pressurethat helps us transform from the inside-out.
Rather than banging our heads against a wall / mountain of density (CAP) or feeling alienated by where society has gone (AQ) without really being able – or needing! – to change those external things.
Change is not supposed to happen ‘the hard way’ (old conditioning…), by working with resistance (theirs, yours), or pushing against what ‘doesn’t work’ in the system (AQ) and we seem to be out of control about.
Early AQ where PLUTO has gone retro has a LIBRA undertone, and sure enough, we’re dealing with issues of fairness, balance, right relationship, and justice, in various social contexts. Long time built-up issues are now coming to the surface – to prompt a purge and transformation / evolution of various paradigms of power.
“You can’t solve a problem from the consciousness / dimension where it originated” (did Einstein say that?). To let go & transform, we have to go to another level of experience (which can be a fine line with spiritual bypassing…).
Have you been dealing with / feeling trapped in systemic issues? I.o.w., come up against issues that are really ‘heavy’, ‘old’ and ‘thick’ (not much breathing space / openness / flexibility)?
Feeling intensely affected by certain things a while ago, waking up some morning, I realized “these are density problems”, andsomething major shifted. We don’t need to go into ‘social relationship’ (AQ) with these issues, take on those challenges or be frustrated and burdened by them (late CAP – where PLUTO goes back to, in the Summer / Fall).
How can life be lighter and freer – shared with other mature (CAP) and free-spirited friends (transformed AQ)?!
Been listening to Playing for Change – Music unites Humans (so apropos SATURN – NEPTUNE in PISCES also, accentuated by the MOON today as I’m writing this.
Clearly, I felt also called to look up the
Sabian Symbol for the PLUTO Station

An interesting connection can be made between the symbols for 1° & 2° TAU – “A Clear Mountain Stream” and “An Electrical Storm” – and those for 1° & 2° AQ, 270° apart (a waning square, in terms of a cycle of relationship, such as the lunation cycle). In the first case, we deal with energies or activities that can be related to the natural development of the individual. But here we are primarily concerned with social, collective processes and the function of the individual within them.
The symbol itself – “An Unexpected Thunderstorm” – could be given a very positive meaning in an arid environment, but the emphasis on “unexpected” tends to accent the sudden and dangerous character of the event. Such a thunderstorm in a region of dry hills can cause a devastating flood.
At any rate, it refers to an event for which one is notprepared – a menace to human works.
Seen as a 2nd stage symbol – thus in contrast to the preceding one – “An Old Adobe Mission in California” – this scene stresses the fact that nature may reduce to impermanence the seemingly most permanent endeavors and constructive activities of human beings. Under a downpour of rain, adobe brick can return to mud.
All human institutions and their achievements can be washed away, even in their day of great glory. “Dust you were, dust you must become”. This is NATURE’S CHALLENGE.”
Sudden intervention is associated with URANUS – ruling planet of AQ where PLUTO is going retro, and these years in TAU – the Earth sign associated with Nature, food, and anything sustaining & stable.
Having been passed by JUPITER on Apr 20 – a big deal, happens only every 13 – 14 y.! – their combo can bring big wake-up calls in those areas (already does…). Greedy human intervention, disruption & destruction of Nature (URANUS in TAU) inevitably has effects on Humanity (AQ) as on other Living Beings in the Web of Life (PI).
Apparently permanent (TAU) edifices can be swept away. Yet also, systems (AQ) that were once built-to-last (CAP) can transform (PLUTO), for better or worse. Evolution happens, and we’re all part of it.
Finding Soul Power within is ever so important.
PLUTO Retro once more back into CAP
PLUTO retro will one last time re-enter the very end of CAP on Sept 1, go direct on Oct 11, and leave CAP ‘for good’ on Nov 19.
True leadership requires integrity – essential (PLUTO) to CAP. Corruption, abuse of power and authority, and disrespect of Humans and Nature Beings whom the leader serves (late CAP – VIR undertone) are shadow expressions that come up now for full revelation and purging.
Pushing us to co-envision / co-build a better future for Humanity (from the ground-up, not the top-down) – as the AQ Age is setting in.
And hey – we’re the ones we’ve been looking for and looking up to.
Also, the way how we respond to ‘what’s going on in the world’ has likely to do with our own shadow too. Well worth digging and ‘seeing through’.
We can ‘repurpose’ & transform situations (esp. those challenging ones that we suffer, resist, and judge) by connecting with our spiritual core (PLUTO retro). Which brings us to a higher vibration, as we surrender to the Higher Order of the Universe that ‘uses’ / positions us, for a higher purpose.

Old – perhaps karmic – patterns, conditioning and internalized experiences come up again…
So that we can better understand and transform them, and regenerate from within.

What a PISCEAN phase it’s been, since end of March (with MARS, SATURN, and NEPTUNE)!
Hopefully you could surf the waves of Oneness, (re)connect with people, life, and yourself, and surrender in the letting go / rolling-out‘grand finale’ in PISCES, as MARS passed NEPTUNE, on Apr 28.
SO much PISCES has also brought up overwhelm, esp. via the media, suffering, confusion, chaos, deception, addiction, escapism, and the alike, and the need for regulation / protection (SATURN).
Yet also pointing to the outflowing last wave of the PISCES Age. Which will come up big time via SATURN in PI approaching NEPTUNE next year (their conjunction in early ARIES will be in Summer 2025 / Feb 2026).
Ready to get into gears & into action for the Summer? Noticing renewed vigor & vitality? Good! …MARS just entered ARIES on Apr 30 – for the first time since Spring / early Summer 2022.

The MARS Archetype represents the life force asserting itself. Which shows up in different expressions in the Zodiac ‘colour’ / mode it appears in a personal (or event) chart. In its most ‘pure’ and raw version in ARIES.
MARS the Warrior having just entered its natural ARIES expression gives the pre-existing ARIES ‘formation’ (CHIRON, NN, and MERCURY) a powerful boost, and brings out the assertive & combative side of ARIES even more.
Yet, it doesn’t have to be warfare: In ARIES, springy Life Force awakens, desire & passion are reborn. MARS now freshly in its own sign ARIES is kicking us in the butt to emerge anew, be brave, take risks, initiative, and action for the NEW!

There’s SO much to MARS in ARIES – esp. in its alignments with the North Node (May 18), CHIRON (May 29), and MOON / ERIS (June 2 / 3).
ERIS who’s been in ARIES since 1922(!) and until 2040(!) is a ‘dwarf planet’ and in mythology the Goddess of discord, and sister of belligerent MARS. More about ‘her’ below, in the MARS – ERIS paragraph.
What can the Martian RAMifications bring?
* Our inner Super Hero/ine is ready to be launched – it all starts HERE!
* New vitality and Spring-like energy is emerging & arising. If you’ve been sick and weakened during the MARS in PI phase (since March 22), you get a boost of energy, esp. if you have SUN, MOON, Nodes, AC or Planets in ARIES. MARS is natural in its ARIES domain, as a survivor, an ‘energizer bunny’, and it comes to life when battling the elements.
* Fast actions and reactions.
* People can get quite angry and upset (esp. with MARS meeting ERIS) – no more PISCEAN tolerating. It can be in general a fired-up and confrontational period. Better to channel the energy into healthy outlets of bold action, authenticity, and trying out something new.
* Do something productive with that energy! What matters is to pro-activelyget going – better than resisting and fighting.
* If it ‘doesn’t work out, not to worry. ARIES gets up and starts again, in a new way. Like a toddler learning to walk, with natural instinct & trust.

Which Planetary Combos & Dynamics are up, with MARS in ARIES?
Raw & vulnerable experiences can be triggered – which can take us to find our Inner Medicine of being truly present and authentically HERE in this Life, and in this Time. There’s only the NOW. How do you show up?
These themes come up too when the MOON meets MARS, the North Node, and CHIRON, on May 4 / 5 and on June 2.
ERIS’s glyph – representing her discordant nature
Also in ARIES – and often ignored (which is tragically-fittingly aligned with Her Archetype) – and met by MARS on June 3:ERIS.
She’s the most massive and second-largest ‘dwarf planet’ known in the Solar System, and was given this astronomical status in 2006 (originally named ‘Planet X’ / ‘Xena’). This happened in the process when PLUTO was demoted as a Planet – while in late SAG, the Galactic Centre(!).
Since ERIS has almost the same diameter as PLUTO, and size matters for astronomical classifications, if PLUTO had retained its Planet status, ERIS and CERES had to be reclassified as Planets as well, which the astronomical community / consciousness wasn’t up for.
The Planetary Archetype PLUTO is well & alive (Archetypes aren’t subject to demotion), and in the meantime seen in a new light through the New Horizons space mission cameras, with first close-ups from Pluto in 2015.
Regardless of her astronomical ‘status’, ERIS came into collective consciousness in those years.
ERIS has a highly elliptical orbit that takes her 558 years around the SUN – more than twice as long as far-out PLUTO (248 years). Plus, she’s been in ARIES for a super long time, since 1922, until 2040 –for the entire life time of most humans alive. Even if you have ‘nothing in ARIES’ you do: ERIS.
Who / what / which Archetype actually is ERIS? How does She show up now, personally and societally?
The rather unevolved role of the ERIS Archetype – the Greek goddess of discord & strife – seeds disruption and separation, is vengeful and confrontational.
We’ve seen a LOT of polarization and discord in Humanity lately (triggered through the Corona Crisis – hmm, the ‘Coronation’ theme is very symbolic for the ERIS Archetype too – don’t give sovereignty away!), as the massive 2020 Stellium of the Titans, JUPITER – PLUTO – SATURN end of CAP moved into square with ERIS – who is presently (these years) end of ARIES.
Why all that discord & strive, in / via ERIS?
Because she’s not welcome at the table / not invited to the ‘ceremony’.
So much conflict nowadays, as the socio-political Pluto-cratic (which means literally: rulership of the wealthy) ‘One Percent’ (prob even much less than that) elite / supremacy (CAP / AQ cusp shadow) is playing their exclusive ‘game’ in the old and dying hierarchical (CAP) / technocratic (AQ) top-down world, at the expense / exclusion of ‘regular people’ and esp: minorities who feel left out of a truly ‘democratic’ decision making process (does that even exist – anymore…?).
We don’t need to think hard to find prime examples of large scale collective seeding of discord, division, and separation. Most obviously via the media, with their deceptive / programming potential and via ‘disruptive technology’.
The process started to kick in big time when URANUS in late ARIES met ERIS – 2016 / 17 – only every about 85 years.

Mythological ERIS is MARS’s / ARES‘s sister.
In Greek Mythology, “She stirs up jealousy and envy to cause fighting and anger among men.
At the wedding of Peleus and Thetis, all the Gods were invited, with the exception of Eris, and, enraged at her exclusion, she spitefully caused a quarrel among the Goddesses that led to the Trojan War.”
ERIS’s Archetype shows also how ‘small things’ can lead to major discord / conflicts.
Yet, ERIS can evolve, according to Doug Walker’s article: “If the ERIS Archetype is developed fully, humanity may never have to experience war again. The feminine ERIS will balance the aggression of MARS. A well developed ERIS Archetype could banish all war. The ancient prophesy of swords turned into plowshares could be realized.”
Wishful thinking nowadays… or a real possibility?
* May CHIRON now in ARIES, approaching ERIS (building up to their union which will be exact in May & Sept / Oct 2025, and March 2026), help with healing what makes war possible!

TAURUS Themes are strong now
Fixed, earthy (first Earth sign!) TAURUS (ruled by VENUS) is all about embodiment, enjoyment of Life-on-Earth, sensuality, food, assimilation, and gathering of value.
A substance building energy.
Immersed in the realm of TAURUS, like in the full bloom of Spring, we celebrate the physical senses, comfort & pleasure, everything that creates security and grounding, and grows over time. Taurean energy takes roots, builds, cultivates, and conserves, like a gardener, farmer, and good custodian of the Earth.
TAU likes to attract what’s pleasant, to experience it via the senses, to eat, assimilate, gather & accumulate, to settle and to claim ownership & territory.
TAU slows down, after the fast and furious ARIES energy, and favours predictability and patience; therefore habits & routines are formed.
The Taurean orientation is very life affirming, yet can obviously lead to attachment to the known and comfortable, to the material side of things, and worldly plane in general, and to physical satisfaction, yet also hoarding, and greed.

Presently, there’s a LOT going on in TAURUS, via: URANUS (since 2018 /19), JUPITER (May 16, 2023 – May 25, 2024), the SUN (seasonally, Apr 19 – May 20), and also soon VENUS (Apr 29 – May 23). What a TAUREAN energy field – polarized by the SCO Full Moon!
An atmosphere that invites us to be calm, conscious, and creative, and wake up to Being Here – on this Earth, in this Life, in this beautiful season of Spring – while being free & unattached from material ‘comfort traps’ and ‘convenience hooks’.
URANUSthe shaker-upper / waker-upper, these years (2018/19 – 2026) in TAU has been pointing to disruption of Nature & biology, of the economy & monetary system, of the comfortable, habitual consumer culture, and of our organic ways of being in physical contact w. each other.
Yet, URANUS helps us also to awaken from ‘convenience’ (incl. ‘convenient paradigms’) and to be more unconditionally free.
URANUS got a big boost from JUPITER – exact on Apr 20 – which feeds into the Full Moon energy. JUPITER is now ahead of URANUS. Breakthroughs into emBodied Joy, Truth, and Freedom! Now we can understanding (JU) the erratic / disruptive / crazy BS energy – around us, in us, in the world (UR in TAU) – and can be free (UR). Unless we’re still stuck in indulging in it (SCO – TAU), lol.
PLUTO freshly in AQ, squared by the SUN in TAU (exact on Apr 21): Let’s not get used to new ‘normalized AI’ / transhumanism take-over. We Humans are organic, nature-ALL Earth Beings (TAU).
TAURUS & the Heart Torus
In 2020 / 21, I was wondering how the ‘6 ft apart’ physical (TAU) tactile ‘free’ distanceaffects our auric / Heart Chakra energy exchanges with each other. I mean, it was pretty palpable.
The graphic from the Heart Math Institute to the left shows the electromagnetic (URANUS) energy field of the Heart – which extends as a ‘doughnut like’ Torus shape (not to be mixed up with TAURUS – but hey, maybe there IS a connection…) – about 5-6 ft around a human being.
Let’s keep emitting Heart Energy!
May our Heart Toruses expand and connect! And may Heart Intelligence move us through all the predicaments that present themselves currently.

SCO (ruled by PLUTO) carries Transformation Medicine
The ‘fixed’ / still / deep watersign SCO (related to lakes and ponds)in contrast to the ‘above ground’ green & growing Taurean world, takes us into emotionally intense, at first ‘ugly’, uncomfortable, and painful places in the ‘muck’ of the subconscious where hidden, and often covered or repressed emotional material– and treasures – sit.
Just as the leaves rot and go beneath the earth in late Oct – late Nov, the Scorpionic energy takes us to the ‘grand mystery’ of death & rebirth, and to processes that have nowhere to go but down & through, for alchemy to happen.
TAU – SCO also represent the pleasure – pain, and life – death axis.
SCO penetrates the underground / underworld / underbelly, which can be a painful process. This is where transformational ‘digestion’ of what’s already dead happens, so that it can be purged and eliminated.
Our very ‘human humus’ and shadow can’t be just ‘gotten rid of,’ or ‘hidden away’. It needs to be processed to become a composting ‘fertilizer’ for renewal – the Alchemy of Life.
SCORPIO is for the MOON the most ‘challenging’ sign. While LUNA is considered ‘exalted’ in TAU, it’s trad. ‘in Fall’ in SCO – since:
The MOON represents emotions, our instinctual mind (in a broad sense: body-mind, feeling-mind), and our needs and habits which by nature long for nourishment and sustenance.
Taurean energy provides such sustaining delivery & assimilation – intake through feeding & reliable presence…
Whereas SCOrepresents necessary detoxifying elimination, often through painful processess. That’s not what the Lunar side (representing also our Inner Child) is most comfortable with… deep & difficult emotions come up.

Under a SCO MOON (whether we’re born with it, have it by astrological Progression for 2½ years every 29 years, or whether the MOON in SCO for 2½ days per month affects us), we’re instinctively sensitized towards the need to purge what’s toxic & outlived, what controls us, and doesn’t allow us to be free, in a deeper sense.
The process calls us to go into the ‘mouth of the monster’ and through its bowels even, while our head and ego might severely protest and resist.
SCO MOON experiences can lead us to thedeepest abyss of our inner worlds, yet are an opportunity to take us through it, and be regenerated and transformed through the process.
Not ‘comfortable’ or ‘easy’ but so spiritually rewarding, and blessed by the Wesak Moon.

A LOT can shift and move quite suddenly and surprisingly, via the JUPITERian / URANian involvement.
Wake-up calls from Mother Earth are striking.
URANUS & JUPITER in TAU: Wake up to being an emBodiment of Nature, live life joyously, and in accordance with the Earth and our Earth Body.
Let’s contribute joy, blessings, calm, groundedness into the ‘electrified’ energy field, and: ground the Light.
Freedom comes in so many ways.
Let’s get out of our habitual comfort zone, and cut the energetic umbilical chord to an old outdated and exhausted model.
Balance is a key theme for the Full Moon opposition. A FM is the ‘Mother of Oppositions’, calling for Balance, Integration, and Right Relationship.
Plus, PLUTO in early AQ which T-squares the Full Moon axis has a LIBRA undertone – evoking social fairness and justice, for ALL of Humanity.
What’s in that regard with the war in / on Gaza, going on for 6 months(!)?
All Humans matter equally (PLUTO in early AQ – with LIBRA undertone). The end (is it still about Hamas?) doesn’t justify the means and its ‘side effects’ – of killing 30000 innocent Palestinians, incl. children. The issue about territorial occupation (TAU) in the ‘background’ (SCO) has been brought to the attention of Humanity.
Shadow expressions of SCOare manipulation, emotional control, secrecy, violating privacy, schemes & power games, destructiveness, black magic, self-defeating psychology – brought up by the Full Moon. In connection with PLUTO the Ruler of SCO squaring the FM from early AQ it’s about society, humanity & technological systems.

It’s been said that we’re currently in the Kali Yuga – the World Age of Darkness, Discord & Conflicts (in a way the ‘devolution of humanity’). May Kali help us call out and transform what’s been present for so long.
Hopefully, we can SEE the Moon Goddess Her in all Her glory (suspense-suspense, and no attachments, ha-ha)!
We sure FEEL Her already… and will even more so, once She’ll enter SCO (on Tue morning 8:20 am PDT).
So much emotional intensity is UP these days – culminating with the SCO – TAU FM onApr 23.
The tides are high. Things come to a culmination / fruition (think: Full Moon – Harvest Moon, Full Birthing Belly), to be revealed, transformed and released.

PLUTO rules SCO. And T-squares the SCO – TAU FM axis. The FM energy can find an outlet via PLUTO, and vice versa.
PLUTO, now in early AQ, turns from direct-forward from Earth perspective to retro on May 2, hence is a stationary focus end of Apr to early May – calling us:
* Not to give power away to ‘the System’
* To not hide out with our Power / keep it hidden from ourselves.
* To regenerate, find empowered Soul Integrity from within, and walk with / in it – while being in empowered / empowering community.

A lot about the energy field has been already presented above. Here are other factors that struck me – and you can see in the chart:
Again, the strong concentration of energies between mid-PISCES (w. SCO undertone), via SATURN, and mid- to end of TAU, via JUPITER / URANUS – freshly aligned (Apr 20). All of that catalyzed through the SCO – TAU FM.
PLUTO, ruler of SCO, now stationary (going retro on May 2) in early AQ, in T-square w. the FM axis, is the ‘singleton’ (only Planet) in the AIR Element. Reason & objectivity isn’t easy to come by, these days.
The Future of Humanity (AQ) appears either utopian or dystopian – if we give power away to ‘the System’ (AQ).PLUTO brings up extremes, to show where the shadow lays and what change needs to happen. Evolution needs to come through Humanity.
More AIR-y lightness & brightness coming in, via JUPITER entering GEM(!), on May 25 – and of course GEMINI Season (SUN, MERCURY, VENUS), end of May to Summer Solstice.
The PISCEAN influx / inundation will fade once MARS has passed NEPTUNE (overwhelming energies? feeling like giving up, or checking out?) on Apr 28, and moves into His own heroic sign of ARIES, on Apr 30. Much needed vitality and zest kicks in from May on.
In the meantime, SO much is going on in ARIES (where MARS is ‘at home’): MERCURY is now retro (Apr 1 – 25), in ARIES:Back to the Beginnings.
So much as been re-vealed, via information, conversations, ‘in your face’ news – about the ‘early phases’ of… (you name it). Although, it could have re-wounded / re-traumatized it can also contribute to healing (MERCURY in AR touches CHIRON 3 times in this phase, pre-, during, and post-retro).
The TAURUS ruler VENUS is currently in ARIES too, close to MERCURY retro, the NN, and CHIRON.
Doing what we love, and what healthy self love would do is healing. As well as being brave / authentic / fierce, and taking initiative, whether in writing, or communicating otherwise – esp. related to themes of love / what we love.
On Apr 29, day before the Martian move, VENUS, currently the ‘belligerent bellezza’ in ARIES (attracted to too many battles?), will settle into Her joyful domain’ of TAU (where She’ll dwell until May 23) – Enticing us to enJoy the Beauty of Spring, and of Life.

For TAU: The tragic reality of impermanence. Can we radically-pro-actively discard the past (URANUS in TAU) – Or at least our attachment to what / whom we have bonded?

The Wesak Moon of the Buddha

The Wesak Moon is celebrated by the Buddhist World Sangha (community), honouring the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Gautama Siddhartha, the Buddha, who walked the Earth more than 2500 years ago, and set an example for the Living Buddha in all of us.
In Buddhist cultures, the Full Moon in May traditionally marks the Wesak Moon, which falls this year on May 22 / 23 – when the SUN will be already in GEM and the MOON in SAG.
I’ve found that the Wesak Moon with its Buddhist teachings aligns so well with the SCO – TAU axis. Therefore, I refer to the yearly SCO – TAU Full Moon (which might, as this year, occur already in April) as the astrological Wesak Moon.
So many provoking and out-of-control situations are up… The deep emotions they evoke can pull us into a ‘pain-body’ loop. Eckhart Tolle coined the term ‘pain body’ – what I refer to here.
Staying with what-IS, being calm (TAU) & conscious (SUN), holding space for what’s going on deeply-emotionally (MOON) can bring us to the core (SCO) of the matter (TAU), and is being transformed (SCO) in this cauldron.
Sitting in the Buddha Heart Hub, with wisdom and compassion, in the Wheel of Life, saves the day and is the way / the pathless path.
PLUTO, ruler of SCO, ‘undertaker’ and archaeologist Archetype, now in AQ and in T-square with the Full Moon,helps unearth our core essence & Soul Power as Humans.
PLUTO now at the beginning of AQ (with LIBRA undertone) prescribes / can bring out (while also showing extremes in that regard: The Power of our shared genuine Humanity, and World Community– also an antidote to isolation & alienation (shadow of AQ).
An essential question in Buddhist teachings: Why do we humans suffer / are we dissatisfied / discontent (‘dukkha’)?
It’s simple and ‘revolutionarily’ obvious to see it this way (why do we forget?!): Because of our attachments to what we desire, and their frustration – not getting what we want, and not being able (or: willing!) to get rid of / resist the unwanted and painful, yet being trapped in its grip. Which is… very TAU – SCO!
And Scorpionic pain, death, loss, grief and the whole spectrum of emotional depth – which, if it doesn’t crush us, can bring us to the essence of where real Power within sits, and change us in our evolution, personally & collectively.
What does the Buddha say to this essential polarity in life?
There’s a difference between physical / emotional pain, and the human suffering coming from it – the ‘pain body’.
Suffering – even though it may feel so appropriate and legit – has to do with the attachmentto the desire for what we want, and to the desire of getting rid of the unwanted and painful. It comes up esp. in the ‘sticky’ fixed signs TAU – SCO (the FM axis), LEO, and AQ (PLUTO, squaring the FM).
The Buddhists would suggest two ‘ways out’ of suffering:
* To be aware that nothing really lasts forever. Everything that has manifested is impermanent. This world of phenomena is in constant flux and change (SATURN& NEPTUNE in PI show us a lot about this too…). Realizing this helps us to better surf the ‘waves of change’, and become free from wanting it ‘our way’.
* To walk the ‘Middle Path’, a.k.a. to practice the Noble 8-fold Path (right speech, right livelihood, right action, etc.) whichbrings intrinsic happiness.
Awakening, and emBodying Freedomis buddha-ful. Awakener URANUS & JUPITER united in TAU are activated by the SUN in the Full Moon. Bright – clear – conscious – liberated – alive energyis available, on the other side of the SCO process…
I’ve been listening to Eckhart Tolle’s audio book (read by him) A New Earth (there’s prob. also an online version available), and find it so helpful / paradigm shifting / enlightening. It’s from 2005 – and timelessly and timely relevant, esp. the central piece about the ‘Pain Body’, and how to become free from it.

The Wesak Full Moon is a magnificent divine and meditative moment-in-time, when transformation (SCO) can be anchored (TAU).
Our attachment to desires and longing for what we want and don’t have, or ‘even’ to pain / suffering / complaining / to feeding those ‘hungry ghosts’ (TAU – SCO) that show up in obvious or subtle personal and collective / cultural addictions and compulsions (more consumption, information, work, entertainment, F.O.M.O., nothing’s ever enough, being pulled into the dark…) can be really UP and fully-ON, in these times.
Can you put these manifestationsof attachments into the bonfire of the Soul (SCO) so that the deep Alchemy can do its work?! Natural empowerment via intrinsic Soul connection comes from there.
Supported by PLUTO about to turn from direct-forward to retro on May 2: Finding Power within, and via intrinsic transformation.
Truth on all levels is being revealed through the process. Esp. as the MOON will move from SCO over the ‘Phoenix Point’ into SAG, on Apr 25 (exact at 6:37 pm PDT). That’s also the day when MERCURY goes from retro to direct again!

How’zit going, in the Green Wood Dragon Year (since Feb 10), so far? JUPITER in TAURUS (May 16, 2023 – May 25, 2024) is a reflection of that energy too. May green growth returnthis year, and into the future, on this Planet. Looks like the Green Dragon will be awakened – and awakening.

URANUS has been in TAU since May 2018 (- 2026) – Wake UP, Earthlings! The Zodiac sign where it’s ‘least comfortable’ in (considered ‘in Fall’ there).
Lots of shifts and shocks and disruptions have happened since that rattled the boat of stability / comfort / security – affecting so many humans (esp. in war zones, but ‘even’ when it comes to the economy, nature – and our biology). Time to wake up to the territorial (TAU) trauma (UR) – that’s been going on for so long.
The JUPITER contact is also one of the highlights in URANUS’s journey through TAU – enhancing its themes – only to understand better, and even outgrow what has been traumatic.
JUPITER rules SAG, URANUS rules AQ! So – ‘even’ if you have nothing in TAU where they come together but some energies in SAG / AQ you’d feel the effect! Think: BIG Surprises. Expect the Unexpected. Free as can BE.
JUPITER – URANUS: Cycles and Historic Context
After the Total Solar Eclipse on Apr 8, the next major cosmic event of this most intense month of the year is coming up, on Apr 20: The conjunction of JUPITER & URANUS in TAURUS.
These two Planetary Archetypes align only every 13 – 14 years – opening a new cultural-societal cycle of growth (JU) through disruption / paradigm shifts / innovation (UR).
Their last alignment was in 2010 / 2011 on the PI / ARIES cusp – the Spring Equinox / ‘Emergence Point’ where everything starts.
That alignment heralded the fading of an old, and emergence / birth of a New Era altogether – which has become even more obvious in the last years.
Interestingly, in 2025 / 26, SATURN & NEPTUNE will align on that very crucial Zodiac cusp – a pointer to the end of the PISCES Age. And (together w. PLUTO then fully in AQ) to the beginning of the AQ Age – although the process is a gradual transition, of course.
Another striking factor: The degree of this year’s JUPITER – URANUS alignment at 21°49′ TAU is just 1° away from the alignment of JUPITER & SATURN on May 28, 2000 – which opened a (rather conservative) 20-year socio-political-economic cycle that lasted until the recent alignment at 1º AQ on Winter SoUlstice (Dec 21) 2020 – A New Era for Our Shared Humanity. The point where this year PLUTO sits(!) – and yes, ruled by URANUS.
Indicators for the shift from the solid, earthy, grounded, ‘owning’ oriented phase into a new, systems, innovation, and ‘sharing’ oriented (AQ) era.
Its shadow being technocracy, transhumanism, post-humanism (don’t ‘share’ / give away your identity / spirit / soul / humanity!). Hence, the PLUTO shift also evokes / calls forth The Power of Our Shared Humanity, in an Era of Deep Change.
You might wonder: When did JUPITER & URANUS align the last time in TAU?
URANUS was the last time in TAU March 1935 – May 1942. JUPITER was in those years in TAU May 1949 – May 1941, meeting URANUS in May 1941. Right in the middle of WWII.
In Vietnam, the Viet Minh was formed to overthrow French rule of the nation, as an alliance between the Indochina Communist party, led by Ho Chi Minh, and the Nationalist party. It became the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
Both Planetary Archetypes have to do with Freedom.
JUPITER with freedom as value & virtue: Freedom to expand, grow, move, follow one’s truth, seize opportunities encompass more in life. The freedom that comes from understanding / seeing the bigger picture.
URANUS with breaking free: Liberation, waking up / awakening, breakthroughs, independence, paradigm shifts, revolution, sudden ‘cutting of chords’, setting yourself (or being set) free: “I’m out of here!”
The fusion of the two can be about Awakening into Truth & Freedom.
Which can lead to transcending the notions of ‘freedom from’ and ‘freedom to / for’ to living in unconditional Freedom. Spiritual teacher Krishnamurti would call it ‘Freedom that has no opposite’.
In the meantime, on a practical, TAUREAN level, we not-quite enlightened ones can tune into & align with the following JU – UR effects:
* Breaking sticky habits/ attachments that ‘seem’ convenient, rewarding / enjoyable but prevent our true freedom. Toss what doesn’t bring you JOY. It starts with the mind (says also MERCURY currently retro).
* Waking up to the beauty & abundance of the Earth, and of this Life!
* Anchoring the Light / Higher Frequencies&New Earth Consciousness.
* Planting Seeds of our Unique Gifts,at this critical time.
* Technology and its Morality (or ‘detached’ lack thereof) Not all that IS possible nowadays SHOULD be done. The genie comes out of the bottle; the ‘Magician’s Apprentice can’t control the forces s/he invokes / experiments with.
* Even more disruption of biology through technology (think: bio-digital convergence) – why letting technology mess with nature?
* Hyper-erratic effects in economy and Nature – what are the causes? Paradigm shifts through enhanced understanding can happen, with JU – UR.
* Opportunities through crypto-currencies Yes, TAU rules the monetary system, or rather: value. Disruptions (UR) can bring opportunities (JU).
* Promotion of digital currency models (CBDC) What do We the People (AQ) do about this proposition / covert implementation(!)?
* Epiphanies about / celebrating the ingenuity of Nature / biology!
Cosmic Picture of the Alignment
Here is the ‘Cosmic Map’ of the exact alignment On Apr 20 at 7:27 pm PDT.
As you can see, besides the JU – UR conjunction, there are more fused / concentrated energies – all between PI and TAU:
In PISCES: SATURN – MARS – NEPTUNE Draining / drowning, overwhelming energy that seems to go in circles, and might make one feel lost or want to escape / disappear. How about channeling the energy into dance and music?! Going with the flow, ‘intentionally’ doing nothing? And: Acting on spiritual teachings.
In ARIES: The North Node, MERCURY retro, VENUS, and CHIRON The incentive to show up for / as oneself, with one’s authenticity and boldness – which can heal old / early wounds, and: the wounds of war.
In TAURUS: The SUN (enters TAU on the day before the alignment, Apr 19), and JUPITER / URANUS Consciously emBody Joy, Truth, and Freedom. Experiment, and be surprised / surprise ‘your world’.
Again, as in recent charts, the planetary pattern is still a ‘wedge’: Most Planets concentrated within 90 degrees of the Zodiac. Extending to LILITH & the (void) MOON end of VIR – like a handle of a ‘bucket’: It’s all practice – to be in alignment with our cosmic assignment…

In the PISCEAN realm we may feel overwhelmed by the chaos of ‘troubled waters’ that connect us all. Here, the challenge (SATURN) is to stay spiritually connected, surrender (NEPTUNE) one’s ego-wants (MARS) and have faith-beyond-hope. Que sera sera. Different from giving up.
How do we face (AR) a crisis? Processing the Apr 8 TSE with CHIRON – an Eclipse of war escalation. Wounds of confrontation and violence SO need to heal. Where did / how does it start? Where do we start the healing (AR)? Time to show up authentically, be in the moment, start NEW (rather than repressing and shutting down our truth – or: lashing out).
TAU shows manifestations of the energy (PI) and spirit / actions (AR). Which can appear like a reward, even ‘miracle’ / surprise / synchronicity. We did our part to show up for it, surrendered, in expectation-free ways.

1) Be mindful, and lead from what’s here-now
There’s a tendency for the mind to be distracted and all over the place, to loose and misplace things & thoughts that later have to be RE-trieved again, in your ‘inner house’. Avoid getting scattered and disorganized, collect the mind ‘pieces’, be present with any situation & function ‘at hand’, and be present (ARIES). The apparent priority of urgent ‘little’ things & ‘small stuff’ can easily be a distraction and waste of energy.
Practice coming back to the Here-NOW.
2) Retro is an inwards / backwards oriented energy
M-r is a good time to RE-treat, and RE-connect with meditation and mindfulness. Also an excellent chance (if not necessity) to deal with ‘old unfinished business’, ‘loose ends’, and to clear communication themes from the past, often carried over from a previous M-r times (Aug / Sept and Dec 2023).
3) Every M-r phase is a great time for basically everything that starts with ‘RE-‘, esp. RE-sidual communication
Like: RE-assess, RE-align, REad, Re-search, RE-treat, RE-pair, RE-boot, RE-group, RE-consider, RE-arrange, RE-place, you name it…
One RE-ason for me pointing out all these RE-activities: During M-r (which also has a karmic undertone), we less likely get away anymore with being sloppy, and with procrastinating or neglecting RE-sidual communication issues with people from the past. They come up like a mirror. Talk about what RE-ally matters, esp. with friends and loved ones.
What do you think about – and want to (re?)discuss, esp. re: “How it started”, beginnings, starting something new, fresh approaches and also: wars, where they start, and what can heal the terrible wounds they bring (all apropos ARIES – and CHIRON there)?
4) Choose the clearest & most direct mode of communication available
Phone rather than messaging / emailing. Meet and connect in person or at least via video call rather than via phone / text, to make sure an actual dialogue happens and you can face (ARIES) the other person (rather than just your factual monologue in your own head, with the assumption you know what they think, or they know what you think).
Consider communicating in several ways & via different media, to make sure the message comes across. Re-member people’s minds can be all over the place now.
To the effect that ‘communication’ might be… ~ Scattered / incomplete / jumping from topic to topic without hearing each other out (can be very ARIES). ~ Prone to assumptions: “I thought you got my email!!!” ~ Actually an ‘externalized inner monologue’ – so you might wonder / need to ask them: “Are you just thinking out loud as you talk, or are you actually suggesting something to me?”
5) Be mindful & compassionate in your communication with others
Compassionately put yourself in their position, and address issues directly, rather than getting mad at ‘them’ (possibly based on a lack / deficiency / incompleteness of communication) – so ARIES.
6) Be clear and precise with commitments & agreements
Double-check whether you’ve been understood correctly, and RE-peat / RE-phrase back to them too. Avoid signing anything hastily / out of perceived urgency (ARIES), before you have all the necessary details / information (often only after MERCURY retro is over, or at least half-way, meeting the SUN = Apr 11). Practice patience.
7) MERCURY Retro RE-minds us…
…that direct connection with one another in an authentic & lively dialogue offers the opportunity to open up, speak freely, and touch on other subjects than the originally intended purpose / agenda of the communication. Which can eventually lead to even more important outcome or actions (ARIES) than anticipated. Check out in hindsight why you actually needed to talk to that person…
8) Under M-r, the odds for fabulous unexpected synchronicities are 99%
Been noticing them? When we act intuitively and out of the ordinary, we let the spontaneous intervention of the Universe show us our interconnectedness! So magical!
9) M-r is a good time to RE-connect with people you have lost sight of – and see them in a new light
With theARIES flavour, get in touch with people whom you met ‘early on’ or just briefly, but lost sight of. Trust your intuition, take initiative if you feel called to meet up with them again, and let yourself be surprised by what shows up when you speak to them. No assumptions… Or you might meet new people whom you spontaneously connect with (ARIES), and feel you already know each other ‘forever’ / ‘from somewhere’.
10) The areas of life (partners, children, career, groups, etc.) that THIS retro phase brings up for YOU…
…have to do with Planet/s and House/s that M-r activates in YOUR personal birth chart, i.o.w. where ARIES is situated (see above). Let’s explore that in a session if you’re quite M-r affected this time.
11) When ‘glitches’ occur, be fluid and flexible like quicksilver (MERCURY’s metal), think “shift happens”.
No need to get mad at it / them / yourself (ARIES).
RE-frame your way of thinking about things. What could be the opportunity in this mishap? What’s ‘even’ actually funny about this? Is it possible that subconsciously you might have ‘arranged’ that wild alternative to the original ‘plan A’? Which might lead to something new and better and more fun than what the ‘normal’, ‘usual’, ‘regular’ mind-in-rut-mode could have come up with…
12) Enjoy those unintentional puns, slips, and new mental connections. Be creative. Brainstorm – esp. together with your MERCURY Retro Friends.

At this Total Solar Eclipse, the LUNAR disk will travel from Earth perspective (viewed from locations on the Path of Totality) in front of the SOLAR disk – an exact New Moon.
Covering the SUN almost completely, leaving only a fine line of the Solar disk to be seen, revealing the Solar Corona(!). Like a Lunar curtain covering & revealing again the Solar disk.
The passage of Dark covering the Light. Yet, Solar Life giving Light renews & prevails…
This TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE – a ‘Seed Eclipse’ in ARIES (with SO much ARIES energy) will be much more powerful than the ‘Great American’ Seed Eclipse end of LEO in Aug 2017 (remember?).
‘Even’ astronomically, for several reasons:
* The SUN will be at Solar Maximum – much more activity incl. flares than in Aug 2017 when it was at Solar Minimum. Solar Maximum + Total Solar ‘Seed’ Eclipse = a spectacle to behold. Intense energy. Activating our Inner SoUlar LIGHT.
* The MOON will be closer to Earth than at the one 7 years ago – which creates a wider Path of Totality (108 – 122 miles vs. 62 – 71 miles in 2017)
* Totality lasted in 2017 up to 2 min 42 sec – Vs. on Apr 8 it’ll be up to 4 min 28 sec!!!
In a Solar Eclipse – even more so a TOTAL one -, the SUN Light is temporarily blotted out by the MOON, and re-newed, from Earth perspective.
An old consciousness (SUN), when it comes to ARIES, is being re-set since it’s not in resonance with feelings & needs (MOON) anymore, if it ever was. The Lunar Feminine steps in front of the outmoded Solar Masculine. A new Alchemyoccurs.
When it comes to society, in trad. Astrology, in an Eclipse, the SUN represents ‘the King’ / ‘Ruler’ of a country, and the MOON represents ‘the People’, esp. in countries on the Eclipse Path. Hence, the formula for a TSE: “An Old King dies / abdicates”.

The old ARIES consciousness / kingdom of warfare leaves a trail of destruction that’s been wounding (CHIRON, aligned w. the Eclipse NM) everybody – except those involved / invested in the military-industrial system / complex (PLUTO in CAP / AQ) making profits from wars.
We the People are so done with this old modus operandiof the outgoing PISCES Age over the last two millennia that’s been characterized by so much suffering, in co-dependency of victims, perpetrators, and saviours (or those posing as such).

Organically, from the ground up (TAU) and in freedom, since WE are the People (super-powered ARIES NM, PLUTO in AQ, JUPITER / URANUS in TAU).
The MOON crosses the ‘face of the SUN’ – a curtain closing & re-opening.

Eclipse Saros Cycles March 29, 2006, anyone?
Did you know that Eclipses come in cycles (known as Saros Cycles), and repeat in the same sign combination every 18 – 19 years (which relates to the 18½ year Nodal cycle)?
There was an early ARIESTotal Solar Seed Eclipse on March 29, 2006, – with Path of Totality over Brazil, West Africa, Turkey and Russia (over Ukraine near Totality). Wondering what was going on historically in those countries, in that year – linking to this Eclipse.

Given the ‘ground it covers’ / population living on its paty, the TSE effectsare likely strongest in relation to the United States, and to everything that emanates from the U.S. Who declared / ‘owned’ it as the Great American Eclipse – So American… “Make Eclipse great again???!”
Definitely an adventure – the ‘first / only’ TSE for many people, and a spectacle to see (a la ARIES – LEO) – yet:
What are deeper and longer term implications of this ‘cosmic event’?
Let’s explore with the Astro lens Eclipse effects for the U.S. and Canada’s charts and societies – in the 2024 (U.S.) / 2025 (Canada) election years.
The U.S. and the ‘American’ Total Solar Eclipse
Here’s the U.S. chart from July 4, 1776. What strikes most:
Its CHIRON at 20º09 AR in the country’s 4th House is amost to the degree identical with the current CHIRON – Ever so catalyzed by the Eclipse (at 19º24 AR).
I.o.w., the U.S. have this year and month their5th CHIRON Return (every approx. 50 y.), in its 248-year history.
Together with its PLUTO Return (every 248 y.), once more activated this Sept to mid-Nov(!) when PLUTO has its last ‘unfinished business’ at the very end of CAP to do, before going for the next 20 y. into AQ.
The CHIRON in ARIES activation brings up Wounds of War. The U.S. have been a country at war. At ‘home’: Wars on First Nations, and Civil War (literally 4th House). And involved in so many wars abroad!
That CHIRON position – in wide square w. the SUN in CANCER shows: Wars wound the country, the people, the families – in the U.S. and in the Human Family.
There have so much with the verbal / political / media wars over the last years, and now have gone to another level, by the wars in Ukraine and in Gaza. This must end, and not escalate.
The U.S. CHIRON Return, linked to the ‘American Eclipse’, asks:
* Where do wars begin (ARIES)?
* Where / how did the current U.S. internal and external wars begin? MERCURY now retro in ARIES touches CHIRON 3 times. This can help with conversations / information re: ‘Back to the Beginnings’.
* Why is conflict and division so prominent in the U.S.?
* What can MARS (Ruler of ARIES) in its 7th House in GEM – in sextile w. CHIRON – tell us about this? Anger is vehemently voiced in the States… Verbal debates can lead to violent actions….
What’s the ‘Medicine’ / Teaching of the U.S. CHIRON in ARIES? I.o.w., what can heal the Wounds of War in / coming from the U.S.? CHIRON has us look for the intrinsic ARIES ‘Medicine’ (rather than simply jumping to: Peace).
Authenticity, Courage (with MERCURY, now retro) to speak up and educate / inform about the ‘War Machine’ etc., and esp.: A whole new approach (ARIES).
Eclipse Year Election Candidates
Two contenders for the presidential position were born under a LUNAR Eclipse! While the ARIES Eclipse affects them both – in different ways.
Did you know?
Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 – the DAY of a Total Lunar ‘Release’ Eclipse in SAG – GEM (just 3 1/2 hrs before totality!).
Here’s his chart that shows the SAG / GEMINI Polarity, with MOON / SN in SAG and SUN / URANUS / NN in GEM.
The Eclipse w. CHIRON falls on Trump’s 8th / 9th House cusp (he doesn’t have anything in ARIES – but a strong rising MARS).
Where it’s about Power / Change (8th) and Politics (9th). Is he able to help heal the ‘Wounds of War’? Or will / would he inflict more?
The Eclipse w. CHIRON opposes Trump’s CHIRON / JUPITER in LIBRA on his 2nd / 3rd House cusp – where it’s about communicating his values through negotiation / strategy. Is he ‘good at that’, or ‘very wounded / wounding’? Or both?
And here’s Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s chart. His birth time isn’t known / not publicly accessible. So I set up his chart for 12 noon.
RFK Jr was born on Jan 17, 1954 – the DAY before a Total Lunar ‘Release’ Eclipse in CAN – CAP.
In the article from last month, Public Players 2024: Robert F. Kennedy Jr., I discussed his chart in detail – as well as his transits for this year, and his connection with the U.S. (esp. PLUTO).
I can’t say which House the ARIES Eclipse w. CHIRON falls into for RFK Jr since we don’t have his birth time. However what’s clear is that the Eclipse is in wide cardinal T-square w. his own pre-ecliptic MOON / SN / URANUS in CAN, and his stellium w. NN / CHIRON / VENUS / SUN / MERCURY in CAP. Now, that’s a massive activation.
For what? Maybe to pick up the torch of legacy from his ancestors (CAP), and help lead the country (CAN) out of wars & corruption (PLUTO) and into a new fresh start (AR)?
Also noteworthy: Both candidates have strong transits from JUPITER round election time.
By then, JUPITER will be in GEM (from May 25 on) – approaching RFK Jr’s JUPITER (a Return) – exact in Aug / Nov 2024 and Apr 2025, and Trump’s URANUS / NN / SUN – exact Aug – Nov 2024 and Apr 2025.
JUPITER in GEM will also activate and emphasize the U.S. MARS – stationary-exact in Sept / Oct 2024, and again in Apr / May 2025. May heated debates lead to truth & understanding.
Both candidates are already stirring the pot, and would bring ARIES type new approaches (to put it neutrally) to the current status-quo – yet likely also lots of controversy (ARIES / U.S. MARS in GEM, activated by both of them, and by JUPITER soon).
Canada and the ‘American’ Total Solar Eclipse
CHIRON in AR has been in 2022 – 2024 close to the AC & NEPTUNE at 15 / 16° ARof Canada’s Federation chart of 1867 – first time in 50 years – and started a new cycle through Canada’s chart.
Lots of old / original wounds have emerged that go back to / mirror the country’s coming into being.
No reconciliation without truth – on so many levels!
Time for healing and for a new beginning!
While new colonization methods & trends have emerged, and are going on, in changed format: Decimation of Old Growth forests, fracking, and other unsustainable ways of mis-management of ‘natural resources’.
Assaults (ARIES wound) on nature – and on culture, via gentrification / unaffordability / cost of living crisis – have brought many Canadians into survival mode– and onto the streets, protesting.

The maximum Eclipse at 11:29 am PDT, as noted on the chart. If skies are clear, we’ll be able here in Victoria to see only about 20% of the SUN disk occulted by the MOON, and the Eclipse phase takes 1 hr 38 min, from 10:41 am to 12:19 pm PDT.
What a strong gravitation in the PI – AR – TAU Field! The ARIES Eclipse w. CHIRON ‘pulls it together’.
TheTotal Solar Eclipse catalyzes what’s going on in the Astro sphere, much more than ‘regular’ New Moons & Full Moons.
Still / again (as in the last weeks), most Planets are all in one ‘corner’ of the Zodiac, between mid-PI to mid-TAU, with only PLUTO in early AQ and LILITH in late VIR ‘standing by’.
A ‘Wedge’ configuration – with highly concentrated themes:
Endings which can come with chaos (PISCES) Fresh Beginnings / New Approaches – which can come with conflict (ARIES) Stability – which is currently very unpredictable (TAU, w. JUPITER – URANUS).
MARS, the ruling Planet of ARIES, is currently ‘back’ in PI. It’ll meet & pass SATURN (every 2 years) 2 days after the Eclipse, on Apr 10 – helping us to assume courage to go with the flow of life & its rhythms, beyond challenges of overwhelm andfear of ‘going under’.
Quite the ‘packed’ ARIES energy field,firing up the Eclipse: VENUS, North Node, CHIRON, SUN, MOON, MERCURY retro.
SO much division and warfare, on so many fronts / battlegrounds. Separation and warfare on all levels has been traumatizing in itself, and re-traumatizing early wounds of the battle for life (in relation to early human history, and to early childhood / separation from mom).
Healing these early wounds is important – and urgent, at our time.
MERCURY, since Apr 1 retro in ARIEScan help re-address & understand ‘how it all began’, the ‘wounds of war’, and: of being ‘all alone in this’ (all ARIES themes). TAU post-ARIES brings stability. Yet, not-so-much these years with URANUS in TAU (2019 – 2026), now even enhanced by JUPITER.
Checking in, re: “Who benefits?”, and “Follow big money” can help understand – and even outgrow (JUPITER) thedisruption (URANUS) of everything stable, enjoyable and secure, incl. Nature (TAU), over the last five years.
How about the military-industrial-pharma complex?! Its extent is now revealed as never before. How about corrupt corporate capitalism of greed / inflation / exploitation / neo-colonization?!
Awakening (shocking? liberating?) paradigm shifts are on now, as URANUS in TAU (2018 / 19 – 2026), pushes us to EmBody Freedom, while grounding the Light.
On Apr 20, JUPITER meets and passes URANUS in TAU – the second major Astro event of the month – if not the whole year. Which can bring major revelations, but also upheaval and unrest. The energy is very unsettled. Yet also important opportunities (JUPITER) for radical breakthroughs into freedom (URANUS) are offered.

NO – it’s not normal for humans to be in this mode. Only as effects of division – socially-‘vertically’ and ‘horizontally’ between people.
That’s where PLUTO in AQ comes in – ideally / in utopian expression, as a socially more just society, and as transformation through collaboration where there would have been competition. And creatively – co-envision and co-imagineer.
Where can we start individually, from the inside-out’?
MERCURY now retro in ARIES activates (dwarf planet) ERIS who’s currently round 25° AR (in AR 1922 – 2040!) – hence ERIS is also part of the Eclipse!
TheERIS Archetype – Greek goddess of discord & strife (and sister of MARS / ARES) – seeds disruption and separation, is vengeful and confrontational, because she’s excluded / not welcome at the table / not invited to the ‘ceremony’.
So much conflict & strife has been triggered / found outlets these last years with PLUTO end of CAP squaring ERIS…
MERCURY retro can help us step away from the strive and competition oriented mind – that always begets further conflict, outer and / or inner.
Mindfulness can help us becoming aware of, and witnessing the ever so active – and striving – mind, rather than being captured by it (and much more easily influenced / manipulated and hijacked ‘on the outer level’).
