New Year’s SuperSuper FULL MOON in CAN – CAP on Jan 1/2: Nurturing through the Winter…

Happy New Year, dear Astro Friends!

Initiated by the New Year’s Eve Sirius Culmination, and:

The Super-Super (closest to Earth in 2018) Full Moon in her very own CANCER Abode….

The Full Moon will be exact at 6:24 pm PST (Moonrise!) on Jan 1, 2018.
In Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania it will be on Jan 2, 2018.

Lighting up the Night Sky of the New Year like a lantern that shows us the way Home!

A.k.a. The Wolf Moon – the name of the January Full Moon when wolves were howling around villages.

 

What nurtures us?
How do we emotionally nurture Ourselves, our Children, our Inner Child, our Family / Tribe?
How do we feel and give a sense of Belonging?
Where’s HOME?

Nurturing through the COLD, finding emotional and physical comfort and resources is actually a big deal these days in Canada, with extreme temperature drops and wind chill effects of down to -30 degrees, in AB, Central and Eastern Canada, as well as the U.S. East Coast.

So yeah, even though we made it through the shortest days of the year, Winter  & CAPRICORN has only just begun, on Dec 21.

How do we balance the contrasting themes of warm, cuddly, and caring CANCER with LOTS of heavy duty CAPRICORN Energy (which you can see in the chart below)?

• SATURN, the Ruler of CAP – freshly arrived (Dec 19/20), and dwelling in the mountainous region of CAP until Dec 17, 2020!
  A rewarding incentive for us to ‘step up’ and be / do what we’re best at (no need to waste our time and energy on what’s futile and not ‘the real thing’, and no need to feel guilty, nor to judge what we don’t want to see, rather to model the Best and the Change (PLUTO).
• LILITH – having entered CAP on Nov 8, 2017, and taking a walk on the Wild Side there until Aug 5, 2018. Being in our unconditioned (un-restrained) Nature brings out our Best.
• VENUS and the SUN, presently pleasantly united in CAP (exact Jan 8):
  Appreciation for quality, and for what matters most. and finally:
• Good ole PLUTO who’s in CAP for the long haul, until 2023, to make sure CAP goes through its deep change and Evolution. I.o.w., done with wasteful and abusive human behaviour. We need to step up to the plate, live more simply (doesn’t mean deprivation), with quality instead of quantity, and sustainably.

 

Here’s the Chart of the New Year’s Full Moon!

The FULL MOON Alignment is quite JOY-FULL, with both the MOON and SATURN happy in their natural Zodiac energies, AND the Full Moon Axis is supported by a ‘Grand Mid-Water Trine’ of

• The Super-Super MOON in CANCER (big Baby Belly energy) – very nurturing, showing us where / how we feel a sense of belonging, and how our needs are being met.
  Check out where mid-CANCER is in your chart (House, Planets there…?) for extra Astro hints…
• MARS / JUPITER very close to each other (exactly aligned on Jan 6 – every 2 years) in deep and mysterious SCORPIO (which MARS likes, and ‘used to’ rule, before PLUTO came along, and claimed its underworld domain – MARS is still co-ruler). 
  MARS / JUPITER give a lot of energy, esp. for ‘bravely’ diving into depth, intimacy, inner processing, research, and anything that benefits from change through going to the core of things.
  
• NEPTUNE in PISCES – also ‘at home’ there: 
  Going with the flow, taking it easy, releasing the old (year, stagnant energy, you name it) with love, and breathing in ‘fresh oxygen’, and anything that we resonate with. Being compassionate.

The Grand Water Trine is in the centre of the Water signs – which has an extra magical, transformational SCORPIO effect.

Also, a rare configuration lines the Grand Water Trine up with the Full Moon axis to a Kite – with the ‘head’ pointing to SUN / VENUS in CAP, and the MOON being the ‘tail’ of it. Or you may call it an airplane, with SUN / VENUS in the cockpit. 
This is a very stable figure, supporting us with leading (head / CAP) from integrity and maturity / the Inner Elder, motivated by nurturing and care, and sense of belonging.

How can this look like?
Feeling deeply, and reaching into our core, which makes us take good care of our Inner Child.
Keeping things simple and fulfilling, noticing that a lot of our ‘needs’ are compensations.
Helping make the World a better place, for our children, for future generations, for animals, for any Being that we deeply care for.

 

Bottom line:
HOME is BIG for the Full MOON in homey CANCER, and at home there, plus MARS, SATURN, and NEPTUNE also in their respective astrological home / comfort zone where they operate well.
Of course, our friend SATURN in CAP likes this:
Everything (a lot) where / how it works best.

 

Retro Free Phase!

And once URANUS goes out of retro (on Jan 2) there will be a phase without a major Planet retrograde until early March (JUPITER) and end of March (MERCURY) – woohoo!

 

‘Stormy’ URANUS goes from retro to direct on Jan 2!

‘Golden Boy’ Prometheus at the Rockefeller Centre NYC, surrounded by the Zodiac belt. Prometheus the Awakener is the Archetype related to the Planet Uranus!

 

‘Wild Card’ URANUS in late ARIES is unaspected in the Full Moon chart.

The CANCER MOON will go into square with it on Jan 2, and also into Water Trine with CHIRON in late PI (also unaspected presently), which can bring instability, yet also shakes things up in a healing way.

On the same day, URANUS goes from retro (since early Aug 2017) direct / forward from Earth perspective. Fires early Aug, icy temperatures now…
URANUS is related to weather patterns and systems – shows when systems are ‘out of whack’.

URANUS has been in ‘turnaround storm’ already in Dec (we were just so focused on MERCURY….). When that happens, the Archetype becomes a focal point.
URANUS is the Archetype of Prometheus the Awakener, bringing ‘Freedom from the Known’, or simply ‘Freedom that has no Opposite’.
Definitely room for wake-up calls, unpredictabilities, surprises, even shocks (there’s been a wave of those in the news lately…), and out-of-the-ordinary experiences.
Yet also and foremost, an awakening from our daily ‘slumber mode’ and into full-on presence with what IS. Presence in the NOW.

URANUS is one of the big news makers of 2018:
It will (temporarily) change signs (only every 7 years), and go from ARIES (since 2011) into TAURUS, mid-May until early Nov).

12 Days of Christmas & The Zodiac?!

Everyone knows the epic carol 12 Days of Christmas – and you might have wondered about the hidden, encoded meaning of the ‘gifts’?!
Check out the Wiki article, and maybe you’re inclined to do more research?

The 12 Days go from DEC 26 until JAN 6 / Epiphany.
Some say they start from Christmas night DEC 25 / 26, and each ‘Day’ starts with the eve / night leading into it.

Guess why I’m writing about them?
Because there’s a ZODIAC Connection with the 12 Days!

Two directions can be taken, forward or backward in the Zodiac, both complementary.
The first Day of Christmas, today DEC 26 is the Day of ARIES, and / or the Day of PISCES.

And hey, the MOON was floating in PISCEAN Waters on Christmas Eve and Day – and maybe we were emotionally immersed in the ALL too – miraculous, wondrous, elated, yet also potentially overwhelming, drowning, addictive, toxic even? LUNA has emerged into ARIES – fresh and new, in the NOW and the Authentic Self!

VENUS enters CAP (Dec 24/25 – Jan 17): A Love That Lasts…

Love and Gratitude for the ground we stand on! 

Over Christmas, it’s VENUS’s term, to settle from her Sagittarian running around and frolic….

To cross the ‘Integrity Point’, join the CAP crew of the SUN, SATURN, LILITH, and PLUTO, and turn rock-steady. 

Time to appreciate and enjoy the wintry calm, traditions of old, and lasting relationships with family and friends.

Quality over quantity, says VENUS in CAP.
Simple pleasures and timeless beauty attract.

And relationships benefit from / require maturity.

 

Also a good time to activate business and career relevant relationships, to provide and build something significant that the world and this time needs.

More noticeable this year, as SATURN just entered CAP to give us (3 years of) reality checks that might appear harsh and cold but also show where ‘been there / done that land’ is, and where we stand.
In Family Constellation practice, what comes up sometimes as a Medicine when we’ve burdened ourselves with too much of other people’s (esp. family and even unknown ancestors) stuff that we still carry:
We only take the Love, and give everything else back with Love – to them, to the Universe, to where it can be recycled back into… L.O.V.E.

So, here we go, VENUS – SATURN Holy Days. 
Only Love is Real.
And sometimes we have to say NO to what’s dressed-up as Love, to connect with, and commit to (yay, Ringed One!) LOVE that IS.

So yeah, relationships gotta be in intrinsic Integrity (not based on ‘shoulds’ or obligations). LILITH sanctions the simple & good, and gets you out of everything else.

JAN 8: VENUS meets the SUN.
Lasting quality rocks. Go for best.

JAN 9: SUN / VENUS / PLUTO Union in CAP.
Whoa – serious deep Soul Union material.
What’s LOVE in its core?
Also an excellent time to offer something life changing to the world (can be quite simple) – because you can.

S.A.T.U.R.N. – The Acronym. The Archetype.

Greetings, dear Astro Friends,
on Day Three of SATURN in CAPRICORN!

The CAP SUN just passed SATURN on Winter Solstice Day – yesterday Dec 21 – and shows us how it goes: Moving UP, in the Light of Consciousness.
Being in our Authority, keeping it Simple, sticking with Priorities, saying NO as needed, Acknowledging Reality, and working Respectfully with Resources is what the SATURN Doc prescribes…

Saturn Infrared (Hubble Space Telescope)

Let’s play with the S.A.T.U.R.N. Acronym, to demo what the SATURN Archetype is about:

S:
Strong and steady. Stamina. Structure. Sculpting. Statue. Stones. Satisfaction.

A:
Authority. Ancestors. Ancient. Archetypes. Archeology. Astrology. Aboriginal.

T:
Tests. Tasks. Teaching. Teachers. Training. Time. Timing. Threshold.

U:
Use (wise and responsible, for the highest purpose, no abuse / exploitation, no under-use / waste). Ur (ancient in German). Uniform. Unicorn (blend of SAG Horse and CAP Horn).

R:
Ring (boundaries, commitment, container). Rights (standing up for one’s rights, respecting one another’s human and civil rights). Rhythm.

N:
NO. Not. SATURN contrasts and negates the other Archetypes (e.g. SATURN – URANUS: Structure – Freedom; SATURN – NEPTUNE: Form – Formlessness; SATURN – JUPITER: Contraction – Expansion; SATURN – MOON: Elder / Maturation – Child / Needs).

Some of these S.A.T.U.R.N. expressions also relate to CAPRICORN – SATURN’s mountainous ‘domain’ (yet, I’d write a separate blog about CAP Acro).

 

What Time is it? The Sun dial in Beacon Hill Park IS pretty exact. I asked my Swiss friend to check his watch (all so VIRGO), and indeed, with Daylight Savings Time considered (4:15 pm on the watch, 3:15 pm on the Sun dial) it matched up…

The point would be with those Acronym themes to express them well.
Karma cookies may follow. But that’s not why we’re a good expression of these virtues – it may simply be because we’ve experienced what doesn’t work between people and in the world, what wastes time and exhausts energy, and we want to live more simply and in straight-forward manner.

Hopefully, you tapped into the magic of it, and didn’t get ‘lost in translation’ but found meaning in the ‘news of the weird and wondrous’.

Today, Dec 22, MERCURY goes from retro back to direct f / forward (normal???).
In this ‘U-Turn mode’ take it easy on yourself, and your fellow Earthly friends, as things can still turn out different than expected (SAG). Yet Truth is what matters most. And, as always, a good sense of humour, incl. about oneself.

MERCURY is now ‘behind’ the SUN again in the Zodiac (the effect of the M-r phase is that it ‘steps back’), therefore, Spirit, Consciousness, and the Heart (SUN) lead, and the Mind (MERCURY) can follow…

MERCURY in SAG will be in turnaround ‘storm’ until Dec 28 (yep, over Christmas) – while in square with NEPTUNE in PI.
I just read in the weather forecast for Vancouver Island / Lower Mainland BC that there might be snow storms this Christmas weekend! The retro dream of a White Christmas may well come true!
Stationary MERCURY in SAG square NEPTUNE in PI says: Hopes and dreams and visions are great, yet no attachment / disappointment please. It’s all good as IS. Let the mind not get in the way of the true Christmas Spirit of Love and Light!

JAN 10: Post-retro ‘shadow’ ends.
We’ve come a long way, since it all ‘started’, mid-Nov (pre-retro ‘shadow’).

JAN 12: MERCURY crosses the ‘Integrity Point’ from SAG to CAP.
Time to walk the talk, and build the change.

JAN 13: MERCURY conjunct SATURN (#2 of 2) – in early CAP.

OH SOLSTICE SUN!
Today and tomorrow, Dec 20 /21 are the shortest days of the year, and tonight (Dec 20 / 21) is the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere:
Here in Victoria B.C. Dec 21 is 7 hours, 48 minutes shorter than on the Summer Solstice: 8 hrs, 18 min. and 33 sec. daylight.

The SUN appears to ‘stand still’ (Sol-stice) for a few days, on the lowest arc of the Ecliptic, before slowly, gradually ‘climbing’ again, and providing minute by minute longer days (Dec 18 – 24: 8 hrs 18 – 19 min., then gradually longer daylight)

WINTER SOLSTICE 2016 will be exactly (as the SUN enters CAP) this year just after sunrise (8:02 am), tomorrow Dec 21 at 8:30 am PST.

What a potent cosmic Winter SoUlstice Sunrise energy!
With CAP Rising, and with CAP SUN / SATURN on the Solstice Point united (exact alignment  4 1/2 hrs later, at 1:08 pm PST!!!).
LILITH in CAP is exactly on the horizon, and PLUTO is in the 1st house, coming up on the horizon within an hour after Solstice sunrise.

• How can visions and ideals (SAG) be brought into reality (CAP)?
• What’s the Soul Force (PLUTO) that drives your ‘purpose’?
• What does it always ‘come down to’, have us get up in the morning and ‘do the work’?
• What’s intrinsically rewarding?

 

For the SoUlstice time, I look forward to nature walks, and engaging in what brings joy and is regenerative (PLUTO) – can be quite ‘simple’ says CAP.

Once CAPRICORN energy sets in, with the Winter Solstice, we are called to manifest what we deeply know (SAG). ‘Only’ resolutions, visions, and promises are not enough.

Let’s walk the talk, and show the evidence…, slowly, steadily, consistently, and without blaming ourselves for not being perfect yet. It’s work (AND play, miracles, joy!) in progress!

 

 

And hey, let’s not fall into the CAP trap of being buried under a mountain of…. (you name it: work, commitments, responsibilities, stuff….), and free up the most important resource: quality TIME / Time quality!

With the freed-up NO-time / clock-less time, let’s give each other the loving gift of time, not only this SOLSTICE!

 

By the way, if you still haven’t seen it yet, or as a reminder – esp. apropos materialistic Christmas:
Watch the 20-min video ‘Story of Stuff’ by Annie Leonard. She launched it 10 years ago(!), in Dec 2007 (just before PLUTO entered CAP, in Jan 2008), to illustrate how the ‘material’s economy’s’ linear system of extraction -> production -> distribution -> consumption -> disposal is unsustainable on a finite planet.
Which I’m sure is pretty obvious to you, dear reader, but perhaps you’d like to show / send it to some rare  ‘disbelievers’ out there. Apropos Mercury retro in SAG.
The project has evolved: In the meantime, there is also the ‘Story of Change’ and the ‘Story of Solutions’.
We sure need those nowadays. And work differently, more respectfully and sustainably with resources, says CAP, now mandatory and rewarding to do so, under SATURN very freshly in CAP.

CAP rules Time and Resources.

TIME as we know it, and our ways of working with it is indeed changing too.

Whether we are speaking metaphysically of transcending the conditioned experience of time, and tapping into 5th dimensional (beyond Time which is considered the 4th dimension) consciousness, or quite practically – it happens on all levels:

Astrologically, PLUTO (powerful evolutionary change agent) is presently in CAP (which rules time and maturity), 2008 – 2023.

Are we being swallowed by the ‘Time Monster’ or some other draconian super power or gruesome force? Or will the old Time Machine die a slow yet inevitable death? With PLUTO, my suggested formula goes like this: It gets intense as it changes…
And yep, the phenomenon of Time scarcity is really big these days.
Maybe because of being pulled into so many directions, via social media and otherwise offers and seductions, coupled with an exploitation of the human greed to get something, and to belong, creating omnipresent nervous FOMO (fear of missing out). 
SATURN in CAP is here to put the foot down, and help us set boundaries to what we really need, and what satisfies us – quite simply.

 

Historically, humanity has attempted to be the masters of time and productivity since PLUTO was the last time in CAP (late 1700’s, the times of the American, French, and Industrial Revolution, and major colonization, and ‘distribution’ of the world resources among imperialistic countries that subordinated and ‘ruled over’ indigenous cultures.
The ever faster running wheels and productivity devices have turned against us. With all the opportunities that ‘saving time’ has brought us we have become the slaves of time (as scarcity). Many people are caught in the machinery and ‘live for retirement’, or just want to maximize ‘life value’ while imposing our generation’s debt on the shoulders of the next generations, and ‘fall-out’ effects onto the Planet Earth. This is unsustainable.

Change is underway. Too slow? Effective and transformational enough?

 

Here is a random act of log wisdom that I found at a nearby beach (and left it there, for the next person): “Money, like manure, does no good until it’s spread around.”
Not just money, any resource and what we can extract from deep processes wants to be ‘spread around’ and used wisely now, with PLUTO and now also SATURN in CAP.

So how about right NOW (says ARIES where UR stirs up the pot), and from now on (with the Solstice SUN, SATURN, LILITH, and PLUTO in CAPRICORN):

~ Reclaiming alignment with time and natural laws (like the TAO),

~ Taking down-time in the midst of time acceleration craze,

~ Respecting ancient, timeless (and timely!) wisdom, and

~ Living more simply so that others can simply live?

 

Time is Consciousness.

“Not enough time for love, relationship, children” – postponing those to Day X, when “the work is done” could be a self trapping statement of purpose, attainment, and completion oriented CAPRICORN.

“The Work” is never done, we can’t personally be ever complete with what we set out to do.

And as Joanna Macy would say: “Help create a project that survives you!” A transpersonal practice a la PLUTO.

 

Did you know? CAPRICORN is actually a mythical fish-tailed Sea Goat.

What’s with that, you might ask?

The time of Winter Solstice when the SUN enters CAPRICORN has been traditionally (in the Pisces Age) celebrated as the birth of redeemers – masters who have climbed up the mountain of spiritual attainment, and offered their energy to the collective – the fish tail is an association with operating in the waters of Oneness. 

 

Which brings us to… CHRISTMAS!

A few years ago round this Advent time, I went to a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at the Victoria Christ Church Cathedral. One of the Carols (commissioned by the CCC in 2011) struck me as relating (for those who are aware) to the Astrology and symbolism of the Christ Birth after Winter Solstice:

 

 

Magi and A Poor Place

A poor place this, no place to welcome kings;
No place for myrrh or frankincense or gold.
A place for simple folk and simple things;
A place of shadows, comfortless and cold.
Yet kings are here, and now as daylight dies,
By their command an minstrel softly sings
To calm the child while Magi search the skies
For mighty Jupiter and Saturn’s rings.

So poor a place, yet now it welcomes kings.
See how they pause outside the stable door.
See how they kneel as each one humbly brings
A gift and lays it on the earthen floor.

Has guided them aright, this child they seek
Is mighty ruler both of time and space.

I was astounded to hear and read in this beautiful ‘modern’ and timeless carol about

• “…while Magi search the skies for mighty Jupiter and Saturn’s rings.”The (triple) JUPITER / SATURN conjunction in PISCES in the year 6 BC which was apparently considered the ‘Star of Bethlehem’ – the biggest planets in our Solar System aligned which happens (usually only once) every 20 year could have appeared as ‘A Star’.
  Apparently right overhead Israel (which is ruled by SATURN) at the time.
  JUPITER and SATURN united stands for the Archetype of a master / teacher / guru / king. And the fact that the Great Conjunction happened in PISCES at the onset of the PISCES Age promised a new religious / spiritual era.

• “Is mighty ruler of time and space” reminds me of the Space / Time Point from SAG to CAP, at Winter Solstice. SAG rules Space and CAP rules TIME (see above).
  The JU / SAT alignment didn’t happen at the Winter Solstice 6 BC, but JU and SAT rule that point! And that’s when The Light of the SUN Returns / is REborn…

Hmm, goes to show, maybe Christianity knew something about Astrology, and ‘placed’ the birth of the redeemer onto Day 3 after Winter Solstice, when the SUN starts to gradually ‘return and climb’ on the Ecliptic.

From the Galactic Centre to the WINTER SOLSTICE 2017: Light Returning…

Solsticey Greetings, Cosmic Friend!

 

These days, Dec 17 – 19, is the yearly time when (in the Northern Hemisphere) the SUN in late SAG points to the Heart of our Milky Way Galaxy – the Galactic Centre, a dark rift, ‘black hole’, AND a birthing place out of stillness, energetically honoured by indigenous cultures as the Womb of Creation.

All of us with our birthday these days, or other planets in our birth chart at 26 – 28° SAG, are strongly called to align from our loving Heart, with the Heart of Hearts, to follow ultimate Truth, inner Guidance, and trust the inner Soul Light on our Path.

 

Star Cluster in the Galactic Centre (NASA) – Heart of our Milky Way, at the end of SAG where from Earth perspective the SUN travels just before the WINTER SOLSTICE Point – this year also SATURN!

On the Winter Solstice intersection of SAG / CAP, we are also at the Space-Time cross(roads). (SAG rules Space, and CAP rules Time).

Showing up at the right place at the right time matters, and meets the mark…

What does it take, to show up simply and ‘magically’ at the right Time at the right Place? To ‘attract synchronicities’?

We increase the odds, as it seems, when we are in resonance with the Universe, in other words: when we follow inner Guidance, the inner teacher that is connected to the bigger sphere, or even ‘simpler’: when we are in egoless alignment with Integrity as-Nature, and move with LOVE.

The Winter SoUlstice Point is also the Space-Time Point, Integrity Point, or Inner Guru Point – where we can find the Teacher and Guiding Light within. 

SATURN, the ‘obstacle bringer’ that teaches us via ‘what’s in the way’ (hint: old patterns and conditionings, fears and limitations, ego contraction, sense of separateness, and need for control) to drop that excess ‘baggage’ of these heavy duty engagements, is this Solstice also crossing over the Space-Time / SAG-CAP Point – on Dec 19 / 20.

• Where is the Inner Sage that shows the way, and whom we can trust? 
• What is the Ground of all Being?
• When all is still and dark, what is undying?

Ganesha – Elephant headed Hindu god, known as the ‘Remover of Obstacles’ on the path, and Guru that takes us from the darkness (of not seeing what the obstacles is / was) to the Light.

Speaking of Space-Time:
Space as we knew it changed massively and  irreversibly (Internet, globalization, worldwide travel boom etc.), during the period when PLUTO was in SAG (1995 – 2008). 

Time as we know it is changing now, with PLUTO in CAP (2008 – 2023).
Time is VERY relative, in fact it’s just a dimension that can be also molded, and transcended:
We energetically ‘run out of it’ when we race around in scarcity mode, and, with consumer mentality (ha, esp. before Christmas…), want more of what we don’t seem to ‘have’. Like a ‘hungry ghost’. The shadow of CAP (never satisfied materialist). 
In contrast, we ‘have all the time in the world’ when we slow down, and tune into ‘Kairos’ (time-as-quality) rather than ‘Chronos’ (time-as-quantity).

When we tap into ‘Deep Time’, and tune into Heart Time… One of the best gifts we can give others, to ourselves, and to the World.
A theme that’s up now big time 🙂 and to REflect upon, under MERCURY retro (Dec 2 – 22, now into retro-to-direct ‘storm’)!

Late SAG (Galactic Ctre) NEW MOON with SATURN – Following the Light of the Heart Truth!

Galactic & Terrestrial Greetings, dear Astro~News Reader in the Global ComMOONity!

The almost-Winter SoUlstice New Moon on Dec 17 / 18 is all about Truth, and Following our Deep Heart Knowing.

It points exactly to the area in the Zodiac that projects out into the Centre of our Milky Way Galaxy – the Galactic Centre (from Earth perspective between 26° and 28° SAG).
It comes with SATURN which is presently also at the very end of SAG, on the brink of moving over the ‘Integrity Point’, and stepping up, in CAP (on Dec 19 / 20, see today’s Astro~News blog post dedicated to SATURN in CAP).

A clear pointer to integrity – focusing on and living by what matters most, across the board.

Late, late SAG is the time just before Winter SoUlstice, when (in the Northern Hemisphere) the days are getting shorter, the SUN is at its yearly lowest in the Ecliptic.
Yet it’s a fiery energy, as the Inner and Spiritual Heart Fire is ignited.

And we’re fired up at the perspective of (and have trust in) the Return of the SUN-Light, with the sacred Sol-stice Turning Point, as we come together and  celebrate in joyous anticipation.

 

This dazzling infrared image from NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope shows hundreds of thousands of stars crowded into the swirling core of our Milky Way Spiral Galaxy. The entire region was imaged in less than 16 hours.

 

When it comes to the Galactic Centre, and ‘galactically speaking’ – what do we know? 
Is it a ‘Black Hole’? A huge cosmic ‘Birth Canal’ of stars? Where does it all / where does Life / where do we come from???
Deep questions that don’t have the one answer… yet lead us on a journey that can be mind boggling, humbling, exhilarating.

SAG rules Space, and CAP rules Time.

The SAG / CAP transition is the Space-Time Point that gets a major boost, with the New Moon and SATURN.

Being at the right time at the right place – some call it simply good luck. Seems to be also a combo of trusting and planning, doing our part, and letting the Universe arrange the rest.

It is also the Integrity Point where we say what we do, and do what we say, walk our talk / views, lead by example, and are the change we wish to see.

Not meant to be a heavy burden…
Heart Truth (SAG) shines light on the Path, always just a few steps ahead, to keep us focused and present with what IS.

Following the Light of the deep Heart Truth (rather than giving attention – and power! – to shiny objects that distract and divide us) is the way to go, into the new Lunar Cycle, into the core of the Holiday season, and into the Winter. 
Quite beautifully simple.

Let’s do what’s wholesome fun (SAG) – for the right amount of time (CAP).
Rather than following the ‘shoulds’, and being on a guilt trip.

If you’re a mature grown-up (not a matter of biological age / of all ages) who’s in her / his authority (CAP), and got a good sense of humour and playfulness (SAG) life is simpler, and energy can be preserved, rather than wasted. 
All of these are expressions of the SAG – CAP transition.

The New Moon brings a New Start from the Heart.

Goes to show:

• The late SAG NEW MOON (with VENUS) is in Fire Trine with URANUS retro / stationary in late ARIES, and in square with stationary CHIRON in late PI. 
  Lots of excitement, lots of motion, comings and goings (and yeah, it’s Christmas count-down), yet do we just spiral and spin out more and more centrifugally (esp. given the social media overwhelm and addiction)?
  What are we running away from? Are we looking for happiness and love at the wrong places? “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for…”
  What’s the cure? 
  Being in Heart Truth, in full-on presence with what Life presents (which can be harder to practice in a room full of people – or easier than by yourself, pondering..) is a nature-all happiness generator.
  Have you noticed? In the situation itself, things are as they are, and we’re just in it. Often in hindsight we re-tell ourselves or others a certain version of ‘the story’, and judge.
  Space-Time Presence…!
  URANUS in ARIES helps: It’s the ‘Awakener’ Archetype after all, that brings us into the very moment – sometimes through wake-up calls, surprises, shocks, accidents and incidents.
  URANUS will go from retro (since early Aug) to direct on Jan 2. More chances for external freedom, and (even more) surprising news then? Probably.
  Mid-Dec to mid-Jan are URANIAN weeks, under stationary URANUS. Expect the unexpected. Experiment. See the world with fresh eyes.
• Also: A T-square from the Nodal Axis to JUPITER is building (to be exact on Jan 1).
  Time to love and show ourselves more freely, rather than hiding  in the observer space / watching other people’s shows – or drama, and perhaps becoming jealous, or resentful for being the willing audience of narcissists for all too long… And even though the things that are shown can get quite ‘uncomfortable’ it’s really good to go into taboos as well, and bring them to light – as it’s been happening lately, esp. re: sexual assault revelations that hopefully affect change.
  Did you know that the Silence Breakers are the Time Magazine Person of the Year 2017?
  The whole dark / taboo / hidden agenda zone gets fired up again in the 1st week of Jan when MARS meets JUPITER in SCO (exact Jan 6).
• Lastly, MERCURY will go into stationary slow moving turnaround ‘storm’ this coming week, to go technically direct again on Dec 22 (‘storm’ continues until – yep! – Dec 28). More mishaps with a deeper meaning (SAG)? Could well be.
  Let ‘random circumstances’, glitches and Grinch, anything that appears on the journey through this Season be a teaching-in-disguise. And yeah, have fun, and also laugh at yourself!
