MERCURY in ARIES (Apr 3 – 19): New Ideas & Conversations. Fierce & Authentic Communication

Dear Astro~News Friend!

Hope things went swimmingly (rather than confusingly) for your mental surfing, adaptability and flexibility, and has been graced with ease and flow, with the MERCURY in PISCES phase since March 15 – which is coming to a close.
Hope you could forgive yourself and others and could swim away when entangled in a confusing mental net, and that your imagination has flourished.

Right after the LIBRA – ARIES Full Moon, MERCURY the Messenger finally meets NEPTUNE on March 29 – the signal it’s on its way out – or shall I say UP – and emerging from the infinite PISCEAN Waters where we’ve been immersed in, and likely swimming in circles when it comes to news, ‘media showers’, fuzzy communication, and such.

Which was at least ‘only’ on for 3 weeks this time around – last year, MERCURY was in PISCES for 9 1/2 weeks, Feb 3 – Apr 10, with Retro ‘Back Flip’ (Feb 16 – March 9, 2020), while all things viral (PI) got really, really omni-present and confusing.

Cascading domino effects ensued, with layers of unknown interconnected factors and mysteries that may never be resolved – until they’re energetically released and transmuted, a la PI.

While MERCURY is ‘traditionally’ not well placed in PI (considered ‘in exile’ – the Messenger’s gone fishing) it brings up big paradoxes, shows how images tell more than 1000 words, yet also the potential for mass manipulation.

The global retreat mode Humanity has been in, pretty much since last year’s MERCURY in PI (linked even to NEPTUNE) is also very Piscean / 12th house.

It traditionally relates to chosen or imposed retreats, via prisons, hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, and monasteries (and yoga retreats of course, as a recent phenomenon).

The Hermit Archetype in Tarot represents this realm / way of being.

At the onset of the collective pandemic panic, I woke up one morning with the Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics swirling through my mind:
“Is this the real life? Is this a fantasy?”
And then, a Corona Rhapsody choir adaptation actually popped up.

Wondering what Freddie Mercury would say or sing nowadays?
Maybe this, or this?

Stranger than fiction it all appeared – until we got used to it(?)….
Yet, with MERCURY extensively in PISCES, let’s still check out / tune in:

• What’s the symbolism here?
• If the Virus was a Messenger, what would its message be?
  Of course, a unique blend of themes for each of us.
  Messenger RNA plays a role in the meantime too. Symbolically: What’s going on in the invisible realms?

Piscean phenomena appear paradoxical, but only to the rational, logical, compartmentalizing mind – while natural cycles allow for ‘incongruity’, in the flow of life.

All the human suffering from the infection itself, and its various snowball-to-avalanche symptoms in all realms of life…!
I’m extending my compassion and healing blessings to ALL!
We’re all vulnerable and connected in the Quantum Field.

Understandably, most of us have been feeling overwhelmed, vulnerable, exposed to and entangled (which is also a Quantum Physics concept!)… apparently a chaotic state – yet it comes with the intelligence of interconnectedness – of everything! Which is ultimately true, but scary for the separate personal identity…

PISCES calls for adaptability and surrender – without going into victim consciousness (one of the old PISCES Age shadows).

MERCURY in PISCES has called us to drop agenda, judgment, and resistance, be open to connections in natural resonance, let go of where there isn’t resonance, and let me Universe talk to us.

Always good to be aware how paradoxical things are – as PISCES shows.
Maybe this last week with MERCURY in PISCES 2021 helps putting things into spiritual perspective – and ‘even’ to see the gifts in disguise…

Miracles and synchronicities have met us too – showing us about the connectedness beyond time and space, in the web of life.
Yet also acceptance and grieving of what presented itself as loss.

…where CHIRON & VENUS await, since:
On Feb 19, 2019, CHIRON moved into ARIES (until 2027).
And presently (March 21 – Apr 14) VENUS is in ARIES too.

The LIBRA – ARIES Full Moon on March 28 activates CHIRON & VENUS.
And the Super ARIES New Moon on Apr 11 will come with CHIRON, MERCURY and VENUS.

All things are NEW and freshly Alive in ARIES.
And MERCURY is the ‘esoteric ruler’ of ARIES – supporting fresh & bold ideas springing forth and coming alive.

Just a week after Spring Equinox (March 20) comes the first Full Moon in Spring, activating CHIRON & VENUS in ARIES, energized by the SUN, and balanced by the early LIBRA (ruled by VENUS) MOON!

We’re in a Wild New World for a year now (in my view initiated by the ARIES New Moon with CHIRON & LILITH, on March 24, 2020) – that calls for Healing, Vitality, radical Self Love, and Balance, in so many ways…

Easter was named after Ostara!
Yes, Easter is one of the few Christian festivals based on the Solunar calendar. It falls on the first Sunday (Apr 4) after the first Full Moon in Spring (March 28).

With the emergence of Spring, the Spirit of Newness is kicking in, and Healing through stepping forward, and showing up authentically in the New….

… while the SUN, freshly in ARIES, will energize & bring Life Force and the Light of Consciousness to CHIRON, the ‘Wounded Healer / Warrior Shaman (since 2019 in ARIES), on March 29.

VENUS emerged in ARIES too, on March 21, and meets CHIRON on the Full Moon day March 28!

What a year to resurrect from and rise into rebirth in christed Spirit!

Full Moons ‘usually’ bring cycles to a fruition – to be fully seen and ‘harvested’ (think: Harvest Moon – which typically is the ARIES – LIBRA FM – the one closest to Fall Equinox).

What if this Full Moon actually brings one year to a fruition?

Almost exactly one year since the epic early ARIES New Moon, closely linked to CHIRON, and LILITH, on March 24, 2020 – when the Wild & ‘Brave’ New medical World of battles against an invisible enemy, of (ARIES like) precedents, antagonism and fierce autonomy started… calling us to be in our ‘raw and wild’ True Nature, and find our Medicine of being authentic, and of facing every situation a-new.

LIBRA is all about balance, harmony, choices, fairness, justice, and right relationships.

With this Full MOON, the tides are high, in the oceans as in our emotions…

Things come to a culmination and to fruition (think: Full Moon – Harvest Moon), perhaps from a whole year! – to be released.

The Full MOON will be even in a ‘Basket Configuration’ (see chart and description below). Some of us wonder these days whether they or someone they know turns into a basket case…

The days following the Full MOON come with waning SCORPIO MOON Purging Power (March 29 evening to March 31 evening), supporting the flushing out of old energies (also great for Spring cleaning / cleansing in the home and body).

Every Full Moon has a LIBRA undertone – since it’s about Balance and Relationship of opposing poles (people born under a Full Moon tend to be strongly relationship oriented, and / or Balance is super important for them) – and this one is even in early LIBRA – double LIBRA.

SO much is up nowadays, esp. with so many of us having been in self (ARIES) / co- (LIBRA) isolation mode.  Relational dynamics (LIBRA) have been in our face / we needed to face them (ARIES), and / or we’ve missed dear ones as we’re apart from.
What in us (ARIES) and with others (LIBRA) needs to be rebalanced, and re-negotiated (LIBRA)?
What restores peace, fairness, balance, and right relatedness?
And what does that have to do with healthy Self Love (VENUS, CHIRON, and the SUN in ARIES)?

Whole ‘mini generations’ (people born within 7 – 14 years) have slow moving Transpersonal Planets in LIBRA where the Full MOON build-up and release happens:
URANUS in LI (‘Liberated Relating’) 1968 – 1974
NEPTUNE in LI (‘Dreamers & Idealists in Relationships’) 1943 – 1957
PLUTO in LI (‘Relationship Transformers’) 1971 – 1984

The Full MOON in early LIBRA (with an extra LIBRA undertone – re: harmony, balance, relatedness, matches, social fairness & justice) – will oppose the SUN and VENUS & CHIRON in early ARIES (with an extra ARIES undertone (vitality, aliveness, fresh beginnings) where the SUN is strongest – considered ‘exalted’ – in the Zodiac: The early Spring SUN that brings Nature out from hibernation – New Life re-emerges.

Balance and Synergy, Bridge Building, Best of Both Worlds, as well as Peace & harmonious Stillness are in Super Need nowadays, in a World that turned into a Virus & otherwise battleground.
Let’s contribute / bring balance for these missing energies, from the inside-out, and via the body.

All contained within an ‘umbrella’ above the horizon, from PLUTO in CAP to MARS / Lunar North Node in GEM!

What a unique planetary constellation, called ‘basket’ (and in this case perhaps: umbrella or Easter basket!).

The Full MOON in LIBRA – ARIES is also in wide T-square with PLUTO in CAP. A challenging cross-road indeed, personally and collectively / historically.
How can we start fresh & move forward (ARIES) in more peace and harmony, synergy and fairness / balance (LIBRA)?!
The key (T-square apex) is not to give attention and power away to forces of Old (PLUTO in CAP), but turn to our inner inalienable Power Source & Soul Force that brings us to our intrinsic alignment in integrity, to embodying a Temple of wellness in wholeness, and to doing the sacred work (late CAP where PLUTO is now has a VIRGO undertone).

The Full MOON faces a spectrum of Planets contained between CAP and GEM – called ‘Basket’.
The MOON represents the handle where everything hinges (very LIBRAN too) and that can ‘pick up’ the rest, with the SUN, CHIRON, and VENUS in ARIES in the centre.
REnewal in Harmony, Balance, and Love-in-Authenticity is the Medicine.

And you can see in the chart also the MARS – North Node alignment in GEM (exact on March 28!) and the MERCURY – NEPTUNE alignment in PI (exact on March 29), both featured above – time to speak up, open new dialogues, release old vibes, and open the mind.

KEYNOTE: The need to return to source during a confused search for new value in a chaotic society

There are always moments which focus in our minds the longing to re-ground ourselves in the great achievements of the past.
The number 3 suggests completeness; esoteric traditions speak of the three-fold Soul, or of three fundamental “Rays” — of Power, of Love-Wisdom, and of Intelligence-in-action. Is Humanity ever in a state of chaos, searching for new value?!
The guidance is to return to Source – the inner ‘Old Master’ (PLUTO in CAP) if you will – via meditation, and find one’s true Essence and its expressions of
Power, Love-Wisdom, and Intelligence-in-Action from within.

So – let’s be inspired by our Inner Essence / ‘Old Master’ (rather than giving power away to external ‘masters’ claiming our energy nowadays), and by artistic, cultural, and spiritual masters of the past – to show us the way through the crisis.

Whether the religious / spiritual / cultural festivals related to the Spring Full Moons are outwardly celebrated by Humanity this year or (rather) not, the seeds are planted within, and initiated & emphasized by this Full Moon and Her signature.

Christ Consciousness, seeded by Jesus Christ in all of us, Buddha Nature pointed out by Gautama the Buddha, and, in evolutionary succession Our Shared Awakened Humanity, come together at this critical juncture – the shift of an era.

From PISCES Age with enlightened teachers and saviours, and spiritual leaders guiding followers & masses, to inner awakened Soul Consciousness guiding us all from within, and bringing us together, on new light frequencies.

We’re in the transition to the AQ Age.

SPRING EQUINOX is the Day of equal daylight and night hours.

From March 20 onward, the days are getting longer than the nights, as the Sun Light is getting stronger, in the Northern hemisphere.
It’ll be the reign of the SUN over the next 6 months, until FALL EQUINOX.

SPRING EQUINOX is one of the 4 sacred Corner Stones of the natural yearly cycle, and one of the 8 Celtic / Pagan Holidays.

 

Easter was named after Ostara!
Yes, Easter is one of the few Christian festivals based on the Solunar calendar.
It falls on the first Sunday (Apr 4) after the first Full Moon in Spring (March 28).

With the emergence of Spring, the Spirit of Newness is kicking in, and Healing through stepping forward, and showing up authentically in the New….

… while the SUN, freshly in ARIES, will energize & bring Life Force and the Light of Consciousness to CHIRON, the ‘Wounded Healer / Warrior Shaman (since 2019 in ARIES), on March 29.

Setting the tone for the new Season

This year the SUN enters ARIES at 2:40 am PDT on March 20.

Just look at that close alignment of the SUN at 0°00′ ARIES – wrapping around the ‘Emergence Point’ where Life Awakens and Arises – next to VENUS one more day on the Piscean side of it, and CHIRON at 8°20′ AR, eagerly awaiting both!

 

At Spring Equinox, New Life (ARIES) emerges out of the PISCEAN unifying waters of Oneness…

Or, after a very PISCEAN season (Feb 18 – March 20, 2021) – albeit not AS intense as in 2020 -, out of overwhelming & drowning energies of everything connecting with everything – creating domino effects, dominated by the invisible yet pervasive that’s been spreading across physical borders and boundaries. But also otherwise, in our lived experience.

The stressful socially pervasive scenario on the ‘Emergence Point’ can also turn into a ‘Survival Point’…

Rather than being in ‘survival mode’,

• Can you tune into the Life Force that naturally energizes you – and is also an expression of your Inner Healer (CHIRON) and of Love that starts with Self-Love (VENUS into ARIES)?!
• What’s the Medicine that emerges authentically & originally out of YOU, as a Living Breathing Being here-now?

New Life arises so unstoppably now in Nature.

Time for us humans to rise again, into the freshness, newness and NOWness of Life, open to the Light.

Out of the Old Paradigm. Into a New Way of Being!

MERCURY is now (March 15 – Apr 4) in PISCES.
Not as super long as last year (Feb 3 – Apr 10, 2020, incl. retro phase).
Have you been able to be in an open mind, flexibly-fluid, receive messages, not let things stick, and offer old mind-sets to be released (despite everything going on in the omni-present media ‘storm’! – very apropos MERCURYin PI)?

Well, PISCES is SO counter-intuitive / paradoxical.

Going with the flow, yet not going with the ‘mainstream’ / the consensus reality but seeing Life as a Metaphor…
What if what happens in 2020-21 was a dream, a symbolism for something? What’s the message?!
Being open to receive downloads from the multi-dimensional ‘field’, rather than taking things at ‘face value’ is the way to let-go.
No, I don’t mean escaping or spiritually by-passing – a fine line when we’re overwhelmed. Open curiosity is the key.

MERCURY will on March 29 unite with NEPTUNE, and help us with awareness about and letting go of old energy & mind forms that used to draw / pull / allure us in – almost in an intoxicating and addictive way – and perhaps allowed us to check out, be victimize-able and manipulation / numbing prone / overwhelmed by a cocktail of influences.

Very apropos also the release of the PISCES Age shadow.

Now we can see those patterns more clearly – the first step to becoming FREE.
And compassion can be so much better expressed and shared from that place (rather than from ‘under water’).

NO Planet is presently retro

Until April 27 when PLUTO goes retro end of CAP.
Sooo, things can move forward and manifest faster than ‘usual’ in the outer expression.
With the emphasis on ARIES:
What’s New and Fresh, Here-NOW?
FREE to BE!

Lots of AIR in the Air, and setting the tone for Spring

MARS in GEM (March 3 – Apr 23), at Spring Equinox also the waxing MOON in GEM, surrounding the North Node (since June 5, 2020, until Dec 23, 2021 in GEM) which MARS will pass (every 2 years and 2 months) on March 28.

Much needed:
Enlivening energies, literally fresh Spring Air, questions, discussions and dialogues, listening and learning, information that changes the picture and the old narrative (SAG), belief, agenda, stories.

Speaking UP will come even more into the picture when MERCURY will be in (Mars ruled) ARIES (Apr 3 – 19) while MARS is in (Mercury ruled) GEM – the Messenger & Warrior Archetype will be in mutual reception then, reinforcing each other.

SATURN & JUPITER in AQ
They united at 1º AQ on Winter SoUlstice (Dec 21), starting a new 20-year cycle, and a New Era for our Shared Humanity.

Spring Equinox as the astrological New Year is yet another initiation of this process – being birthed and coming alive in a much more powerful and nature-ally supported way now than at the beginning of Winter, the celebration of Light – ever so gradually – returning.

Would be another great time to mark it with a ceremony – in community (AQ).

Spring Equinox 2021 brings a boost of fresh energy

• To emerge, in vitality and freshness, and show up with authentic Healing Medicine & Love that starts with Self-Love (VENUS, SUN, CHIRON in early ARIES)

• To celebrate Our Shared Humanity in community, friendship, group consciousness, and co-creation.

Cosmic and Terrestrial Greetings, dear Astro Friends!

 

End of PISCES is where all comes together AS-ONE…

Out of this Ocean of Oneness arises the One in ARIES, and a new cycle begins – as with Spring Equinox…

We live in multi-layered Transition Times.

Do we ever – since NEPTUNE entered its own Zodiac energy of PISCES in 2012 (until 2025)!

 

This end-of PISCES New Moon with NEPTUNE & VENUS brings it all together – overwhelmingly, blissfully, paradoxically, where nothing is as it seems, all illusions dissolve and all comes together in Love, and we can let go with Love.
Love is all that matters, and All-that-IS.

Surrendering to and in Love….

May this be a beautiful surrender time of letting go and letting BE, opening and receiving, breathing in and breathing out, in the rhythms of Life & Love.

 

 

NEPTUNian Times

NEPTUNE nowa-years in PISCES is perhaps one of the indicators besides others that marks the outflow of the Pisces Age.

 

And even more were ON in 2020:
MERCURY in PI went retro mid-Feb close to NEPTUNE, followed by the PI New Moon with M-r and NEPTUNE on Feb 23, and the VIR – PI Full Moon with SUN – NEPTUNE, on March 9.
The PI – VIR Full Moon on Sept 2 came with MOON – NEPTUNE, while 6 Planets were retro – the tides were going out.

 

The most obvious astrological theme of 2020 was – as featured many times / many ways in ASTRO~News – the SATURN – JUPITER – PLUTO conglomerate in CAP (super rare).
The Old Empires expire – as they show their authority (SATURN) and power (PLUTO) shadows, big time (JUPITER), fueled by Fear (a central SATURN theme – in its own sign CAP).

 

However, the less concrete yet omnipresent ‘atmospheric’ theme of NEPTUNE in its ‘own’ sign PISCES – in 2020 still in the central, scorpionic part of PI (10 – 20º), ruled by PLUTO (a big shadow purge) – has also played an important role, with expressions of:

• The power of the media to mass influence, inundate, deceive, and manipulate
• A cloud of doom, confusion, intense / violent chaos, psychic overwhelm, physical loss
• Addictions – incl. to dark & destructive / potentially cathartic themes
• The omni-present yet not processed theme of death
• The subtle awareness that certain issues are by nature out of control…
• The undertone of grief for what’s gone (is it?)…

 

NEPTUNE moved for its last five years in PI (2021 – 25) this year into the last third of PI (20 – 30º), which is ‘double PISCES’ (and double NEPTUNian). 

It’s all coming together, being washed up and out. Lots of release, and requiring of letting go.
Interconnectedness of – everything. Personally, interpersonally / relationally, societally, collectively, and spiritually. Esp. / ultimately the latter, since NEPTUNE is a transpersonal planetary Archetype, a barometer of the collective psyche of the ‘Zeitgeist’. 

We may well be in the transition phase out of the PISCES Age.
This more than 2000 year era has been characterized by the predominance of religions, ideologies, and mass movements. 
A powerful orientation towards the spiritual dimension.
Yet also with the co-dependent shadow dynamic of Victim – Perpetrator – Saviour – Martyr.

Which one do you tend to find yourself identified with most?
Well, they’re mostly subtle and subconscious… (which itself is Piscean).

 

Addictions have played an enormous, often compensatory role in the PISCEAN era.
What are you seeking and yearning for?
What’s with connection?
Addictions can be added to the taboo (of the obvious) list.

 

During the PISCES Age, there have been lots of mass movements / mass phenomena, like: World Wars, Communism, migrations, media.

In the realm of media we see lately the transition from PI (one fits all – showering over and influencing masses, the mainstream, and media addiction) to AQ (independent and also radical / freedom oriented media) quite clearly.

2020 evoked and provoked in all of us responses to the Covid phenomenon, to currents in  the collective, and to governmental / admin measures… 
Incl. old PISCEAN remnants of ‘Holy Wars’ emerging from polarization of positions – which also generated social taboos (very PI / SCO) between people who once were ‘cool’ with each other as friends / family (“Don’t talk about religion, sex, and: Covid.”).
The transitional dynamic seems to show up through following / adapting to the collective parameters (PI) vs. perceiving them as curtailing indiv. freedom (AQ), and seeking like-minded others – with radicalization as a shadow expression.

 

Another current example for the transition from PI to AQ we’re in:
The movement towards universal income provided from ‘above’ is also PISCEAN – as socially noble it may be.
Social justice is AQ, yet we’re still in a pyramidal, hierarchical, patriarchal structure here – similarly to religious structures offering alms to the poor (that’s the vibe I’m picking up, anyway). In contrast, independent, co-creative collaboration of people on equal ground would be AQ.

How do you see the 2020-21 Zeitgeist in a bigger, transpersonal way?

 

This much for NEPTUNE, in its own sign PISCES (which has many many strands of themes), activated by the New Moon on March 13.

 

A New Moon marks the transition between the Old and the New, so it’s as much a closure of an old cycle as the beginning of a new one. 
Which is also very apropos the PISCES / Neptunian theme – every ending is a new beginning. An infinite loop.

B.t.w., the SUN already passed NEPTUNE on March 10, so the New Moon will be slightly, 3 degrees post-NEPTUNE. 

We’re invited to come out of toxic / dysfunctional / shadowy, outlived entanglements, yet embraced by the Web of Life.

VENUSian Infusion of the Neptunian New Moon in PISCES

Sweet VENUS Love Goddess swims these weeks (Feb 25 – March 21) in Her most exalted (cosmo-energetically favoured) PISCES expression – One Love ~ Love-IS.

And NEPTUNE is the ‘higher octave’ / transpersonal dimension of VENUS – universal Love, beyond personal attraction and relationships.

On March 12, the Dark-before-New MOON connects with VENUS in PI, and She in turn meets NEPTUNE (once a year) on March 13, some 18 hrs after the New Moon(!).

Love comes in so many ways – and waves. Love IS.
Can it be sweeter than this… (except in the 7th Heaven)?
Yet, don’t mix up the real person with a character from a / your movie (which likely is an old, pervasive story).
And surf away from confusing / overwhelming / toxic dynamix and ‘media showers’.

 

The New Moon in PI, as you can also see below in Her ‘birth chart’, not only connects closely with NEPTUNE, but also with VENUS!
So yes, it’s a VENUS-NEPTUNE New Moon in PI.

On the New Moon threshold of ending of an old and conception of a new cycle, that may translate into:
Releasing and letting go of old (perhaps sticky and toxic) energies, attachments (ours to them / it, and theirs to our energy field) and dynamics – with Love (“I only keep the Love, and give everything back to its origin, with Love”).
A good time for loving energetic ‘Spring Cleansing’.
To start fresh, from a loving vibration – and into Spring, one week after the New Moon. 

Surrendering with / to Love That-IS.

 

 

For us Empaths…

Yep, also a PISCEAN / NEPTUNIAN / VENUSIAN theme.

Do Empaths attract / are available to / accommodate Narcissists?
Do they tend to be co-dependent with each other?
Another interesting aspect of this story…

We’re spiritual beings having a human experience.

Some of us sentient and sensitive ones are very attuned to the ‘psychic weather’ / atmosphere around us.
Maybe we came with this gift (that can sometimes feel like a curse), maybe it has served as a survival training in early childhood – we learned to adapt – or escape when the situation got too intense.
And over time it became second nature…

 

Narcissistic tendencies (overt or covert) are in my (here simplified / generalized) understanding astrologically an overcompensation of LEO or Solar energy, or a distorted VENUSian theme.

• A healthy SOLAR / LEO expression is creative, loving, warm-hearted, well-loved and naturally charismatic / popular.
  A narcissist tries to force those qualities onto their environment through their ego – which of course doesn’t work, and is a power trip. So yes, MARS and PLUTO also play a role…
  It’s never mono causal, rather complex and unique as we are individually (so these are generalized pointers of course).
• And when it comes to VENUS, narcissists don’t tend to trust natural loving attractions between people, and create relationships based on drama and control, replacing the beautiful dance of giving and receiving with an insatiable hunger for attention (in a sense addiction like), since intrinsic healthy self love is lacking.

 

If we, empaths, narcissists (hmmm, if you wonder whether you’re a narcissist you probably aren’t), and all human beings would develop more whole-hearted healthy Self Love a la LEO & VENUS the world would be a better place.

Ask yourself off and on: What would LOVE say or do?

 

VENUS in PISCES (via birth chart, or via present transit – esp. if you have PI Planets, Sun, Moon, AC) can turn in interpersonal dynamics into an over-idealistic martyr, victim, or saviour (old PISCES age syndromes).
Empaths can be prone to that – and attract the other ‘pole’ – narcissists / perpetrators.

 

Not a good idea in general to project all things Love onto the other Person – even if s/he is a Soul Mate.
VENUS in PISCES is much vaster, and extends into universe-all Love.

VENUS goes into ARIES on March 21, day after the Spring Equinox, showing that healthy Love starts with Self Love.

 

Being empathetic / an empath literally means (the condition of) feeling other people’s pain and suffering.
Clearly, in Astrology PISCES associated.

PISCES, the last sign in the Zodiac connects with all the previous ones – the whole cycle of evolution, and ‘gets it’ what it feels like in all these stages, consciously or subconsciously (it’s a mystery)…

Which of course makes PISCEAN energy vulnerable on a personal level, hence it needs to regenerate through connection into the ONE. VENUS – NEPTUNE in PI…

 

Here is a good Empath check list:

• Highly sensitive and intuitive
• Highly tunes senses
• Absorbing other people’s emotions
• Introverted. Needing alone time.
• Becoming overwhelmed in intimate relationships.
• Targets for energy vampires
• Replenishing in Nature.
  

 

How do I, the empathic person, avoid being drawn into everyone’s emotional field, and experiencing it as my own?
And what of that IS actually a reflection of me?
How do I let go and allow things to be washed away?

 

The PISCEAN Fish either go under or jump out of the water in bliss.

Out of Oneness comes the ONE.
Let the Self arise and bring you back to Life!

Things flow so much easier (PI) and the Universe has our back when we’re authentic and true to ourselves (AR).
Magic and synchronicities are our companions, and life is joy.

 

Let’s be in a loving, open, neutral place (PI), with the washing up and out of old ‘sticky’ vibrations.
Maybe even residues of the whole PISCES Age era, and our connection with it / conditioning by it?

Let’s allow things to be purged and transformed.

 

Well, and this is also the New Moon following Shivaratri, the Night of Shiva (March 12 / 13), symbolizing the Union with the Formless (very apropos VENUS – NEPTUNE). No attachments, all impermanent, and constantly transforming.

 

We can’t keep these collective-connective waves from coming.
But we can learn and practice surfing and navigating them skillfully (that’s where VIRGO comes in) and BE with it all (PISCES) in a good vibration, and loving, heart-ful way.

And sometimes the most loving and SELF loving thing, esp. in co-dependent and abusive situations is to say NO, and let GO – and ask for outside help if needed.

The 23º03′ PI New Moon will be exact at 2:21 am PST on March 13.

 

 

Can you see the SUN, MOON, VENUS, and NEPTUNE in the chart, at the end of PISCES, close to the ‘Emergence Point’ (as I call it) / Spring Equinox Point / on the cusp to ARIES?

The New Moon happens just one week before Spring Equinox (March 20) – another indicator for the paradoxical PISCEAN New Moon energy – it connects endings with new beginnings.
Well, Love bridges it all.

The SUN will enter ARIES on March 20, followed by VENUS on March 21, eagerly awaited by CHIRON – the Medicine of Authenticity, fresh beginnings, one baby step at a time, and of being present in the NOW.

 

WATER (represented by PISCES only) and AIR (represented by MARS / North Node in GEM, and SATURN / JUPITER in AQ) are the main elements. Sounds like sailing / surfing…

Out of vibrations of old & told, and into new loving vibrations (VENUS / NEPTUNE with New Moon in PI) of…

• Active dialogues, discussions, questions, learning (North Node in GEM with MARS boost, exact conjunction Mars 28)
• Leaving old dysfunctional systems, and co-creating anew, with like- and light-spirited others, for a better future of our shared Humanity – both a necessity (SATURN) and opportunity (JUPITER).

 

AQ Ruler URANUS now in TAU, this year met by LILITH keeps calling us to emBody Freedom.

MERCURY in PISCES (March 15 – Apr 3): Openness, Fluidity, Ambiguity, and Meta-Morphing of the Mind

Oceanic Quantum Greetings, dear Cosmic Friends!

This happens shortly after the PISCES New Moon on March 13!

MERCURY at the very end of AQ will go out of the post-retro ‘shadow’ on March 14 – marking not only the full integration (noticing it?) of the MERCURY retro zone but also of the super long phase of MERCURY in AQ – since Jan 8(!).

 

“How can I be connected with the Quantum Field?” you may ask….
You ARE IN the Quantum Field.
That’s like a dolphin asking, “How can I be connected with the ocean?”

On March 15, MERCURY swims over to PISCES.

This year for much shorter (less than 3 weeks) than in the last two years…

…when MERCURY was going retro in PI, esp. last year.
To the effect of a super long PISCEAN mercurial / mental co-immersion, Feb 3 – Apr 10, 2020.
A time during which a load of inter-connected, yet confusing, and overwhelming information about the virus was spread, affecting us all collectively (PI), and yet leaving many questions open.

Seems like we’ve been in the PISCEAN net / web / bubble year-round.
The role of the mainstream media (PI) in all this has been questioned. New independent media (AQ-PI) have emerged in the process.

 

Will MERCURY in PISCES 2021 help us see the 2020-21 dyna-mix better?
And to disentangle some of the strands in the mental net we might have experienced ourselves trapped in?

Quite the elemental mercurial energy shift, from cool, abstract, systemic AQ – which MERCURY per se thrives in, and has been this year extensively long in, since Jan 8(!) – the average of MERCURY in a sign is 3-4 weeks -, to the oceanic interconnected mystical worlds of PISCES.

Swift, brainy, practical MERCURY isn’t traditionally ‘well placed’ in PI (considered ‘in exile’ there – “What am I doing here..?” “Where’s everything?”). But hey, that Planets-in-Dignity system is yet another matrix.

 

What are the gifts of MERCURY in PISCES?

It doesn’t have to do so much with ‘active / straight-forward thinking’.
Rather, in a ‘watery’, interdimensional quantum way:
Being in an open mind, flexibly-fluid, receiving messages, not letting things stick, and offering old mind-sets and fixed ideas (yep, those can come up with MERCURY in AQ) to be released.

The ‘usual’ straight-forward communication turns into energetic / psychic tuning in, attuning to, and communing with one another, as Humans, with Animals, with All of Nature, with Spirit and all that-IS, in the Web of Life. 
A wonderful time for creative inspiration that’s beyond words.
For music, dance, poetry, film, photography, and all art as multi-D fusion. And for spiritual, transcendent No-Mind realizations.

We have only 19 days (short even for swift MERCURY!) to attune to that PISCEAN Space-of-Mind.

Plus, we’re in the NO-retro zone now (since MERCURY left its retro phase / storm early March, and before PLUTO goes retro end of Apr) – things move and come together much faster than usually.

THE window for external manifestations in 2021.

 

Going with the Flow of MERCURY in PISCES

As MERCURY goes over the ‘Resonance Point’ cusp from AQ to PI on March 15, escorted by the end-of-PI New Moon on March 13:

• Whom and what are you mentally in resonance with?
• Where can you relax, and there’s rather ease and flow (things can be washed out if needed) than disconnect, complications, discord?
• And where do you pick up vibes (even / esp. via resonance and connection) that aren’t necessarily beneficial? Important to do mental hygiene…

All in all, a mercurial surfing in the ‘cosmic waters’ of PISCES… as (usually winged) MERCURY grows fins.

 

Everything PISCEAN is brought to our mental awareness:

• Overwhelm 
  What does it have to do with your state of Mind more than with an ‘objective reality’?
  What of it is self-made?
  Why do you overwhelm yourself mentally-emotionally?
  Can it be even an addiction, distraction, or self sabotage?
  Be open and think paradoxically (which is very PISCES).
• Similarly, feeling disoriented, lost, confused, fatigued – 
  What’s your Mind’s contribution to this?
  Maybe certain ‘issues’ don’t have to be sorted out…
  What’s the not knowing pointing you to?
• Escapism
  A response to overwhelm, feeling depleted, confused, fatigued
  Notice when you’re avoiding the here & now, and why?
  Maybe a healthy dose of disruption of patterns & habits is actually a good thing.
• Addictions (to substances, behaviour, you name it…)  
  Ask questions like Dr. Gabor Mate would:
  Not, what’s wrong with the addiction? but “what’s right about it?”
  “Why does it make perfect sense for your situation?”
  “What is it a response to?”
  And: What’s the real thing you’re longing for?

 

PISCES is about letting go and letting it BE.
Space is being created where there’s no agenda, rather natural loving acceptance without judgement or resistance.
Things can take a turn, or organically run their course, just like a wave.

The low vibration of which would be to passively let overwhelming / overpowering waves roll over you and take you under…
Good to discern (a la VIRGO – MERCURY’s sign) and question (GEMINI, also ruled by MERCURY) mental-informational waves.
And to tune into Grace – and good music (tuning into Jazz while writing this blog article).

On the note of the former, here’s a beautifully poetic, wise and very apt quote by Ann Mortifee from her book In Love With the Mystery (not only) for this MERCURY in PI:

“GRACE
Grace is undying favour, the unexpected balm of the Unknowable.
Like the air we breathe, grace flows through, around, and in everything. We have only to sink into the deep resonance of this very moment now to receive its blessing. Grace is always present, waiting to bestow its healing breath upon whoever draws near. It is we who must approach in the stillness. It is we who must open to receive.
Grace is a constant. We are the variable. The more constant our surrender the more grace-filled we become.”

What’s special about this MERCURY in PISCES?

The PISCES motto (ruled by NEPTUNE – which has been in PI since 2012 – until 2026) motto is: All is ONE. And: Nothing is as it seems. The realm of paradoxes.

MERCURY will catch up with NEPTUNE (with approx. 3-day ‘aura’ around it) – on March 29 – let the mind be at ease.

PISCES is the energy before the Spring Equinox where Winter and the old Zodiac cycle are ‘washing away’ and ‘dissolving’, so that a fresh cycle can start. Everything coming together in a ‘grand finale’ where endings and surrendering make space for the New.

At this time, we tend to think, write, discuss, and communicate more than otherwise about themes like:

• Connections and connectedness
• Connecting the dots
• Music, arts, media, dance, drugs, the atmosphere & climate (in a small and global sense)…
• What / whom we’re missing – yet who’s / what’s always IN us anyway
• What ‘s fleeting and lost and what cannot really go away
• New (or: old, lost and found) ideas can spring forth if you allow the mind to wander… 

 

Shadow expressions of PISCES which may come out via the mind, with MERCURY in PI – to be met with pure SoUlar Consciousness:
Overwhelm, confusion, co-dependency, addictions.
Yes, it ‘all comes together’ in these phenomena too, but in a way where we don’t let go… or we might feel like the victim (and ‘bonded’ in that state).

The ‘job’ of MERCURY in PI is to catch the mind getting carried away with delusions, or illusions that it ‘sells us’ as ‘the real thing’.
MERCURY in PI can be quite good at camouflaging, masking, pretending, (self) deception, fantasy and imagination.

Maha Shivaratri is the big yearly festival dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism – of Yoga, meditation, and Union with the Formless.

This year, March 12 / 13 is the sacred night (Ratri) dedicated to Shiva.

It is believed that in this ‘moonless night’ before the New Moon, Lord Shiva performed the dance of destruction and re-creation.

Shivaratri, the Night of Shiva is celebrated in remembrance of “overcoming darkness and ignorance” in life and in the world.

Ever so needed in THIS year.

 

In PISCEAN mode, let’s connect with various festivals around the world – in relation with yearly Astrology related cycles – if we feel an inner resonance, and receive a benefit!

And since we are now in the phase of the Dark Moon – the ‘Crone Moon’ (last days before the PISCES New Moon on March 13, as the sliver has disappeared in the heavens) it’s time to go inwards, release and surrender to unseen forces and gifts of life – as the MOON will link with NEPTUNE in the Shivaratri night on March 12 / 13 – , out of which newness arises, with the NEW MOON.

The newly waxing (not visible yet) ‘Shiva’ Moon will enter fiery ARIES on March 13 at 3:44 pm PST, and meet CHIRON on March 14 – Healing Medicine through emergence of authentic new beginnings, after the Piscean ultimate surrender.
A breath of Spring, and a great time for vibrant new energy!
On March 16, the first sliver of the newly waxing Moon in TAU will connect with URANUS – a call for awakening and emBodying unconditional Freedom.

MARS in GEMINI (March 3 – Apr 23) – Find Your Voice, and Speak Up!

Dear ASTRO~NEWS Reader,

 

Bold MARS takes off from TAURUS  (its dwelling place since Jan 6 where it escorted / pushed us into the Year of the Metal OX, from Feb 12 on – and with a few wild & bumpy encounters esp. in January), to take flight in GEMINI on March 3, flying through the ‘lightest’ Zodiac vibration until Apr 23!

 

March is the month of MARS.
The Romans coined it. Double MARS vibe right there.
And of course, the month when ARIES, the sign of MARS starts.
Get ready for a fiery early Spring!

 

TAURUS rules the throat and neck, sound and song.
GEMINI rules the lungs, breathing, communication.

Hence, I call the TAU – GEM cusp the ‘Voice Point‘. 
Time to give extra energy, strength, and courage (MARS) to find our Voice, and speak up.

 

And to communicate, ask questions, get information out, debate (well, MARS in GEM can be very argumentative), and question the narrative / agenda (SAG) – which is this year (since June 2020 until Dec 2021) supported anyway, via the South Node in SAG, and the North Node in GEM. 
MARS will meet the North Node in GEM on March 28 – the DAY of the LIBRA – ARIES (ruled by MARS) Spring Equinox / pre-Easter Full Moon – one of the highlights of the MARS in GEM phase.

 

In its 2-year cycle, MARS hasn’t been in GEMINI since Spring 2019.
Time to give all things GEM an energy boost again.

 

The U.S. have (in the astro chart of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776) MARS at 21º22′ GEM – where MARS will be round Apr 9/10, just before the Super-ARIES New Moon on Apr 11. Can turn into a ‘hot phase’ in / for the U.S.

 

Had several consults with GEMINI activated clients in the last while.
And a variety of dynamic exchanges of ideas, conversations, and invigorating visits / outings with friends in the lands of pre-Spring – a fabulous initiation for MARS’s journey!

MARS in GEM promises a breath (or many) of fresh AIR!
But hey, we gotta get off our butt (TAU can become sedentary & stagnant), show up, move, and act.
Even ‘just’ get out of the house and go for a walk or (very GEM) bike ride, in the fresh Spring Air.

Not only will MARS be in GEMINI.

Also the GEMINI Ruler MERCURY has done its retro-to-direct ‘U-Turn’ in AQ on Feb 20, and left the post-retro ‘storm’ on Feb 27 – day of the VIR (also ruled by MERCURY) – PI Full Moon!
The communicative Air is pretty clear by March 3.

NO Planet retro now – until Apr 27 (PLUTO goes retro).

Together with MARS in swift GEM – things can come into motion, move forward, and be aired.

Yep, also time for whirling around in Spring cleaning & clearing mode.

 

MARS & MERCURY are Buddies this Spring

Plus, on April 3, MERCURY will go into ARIES (ruled by MARS), until Apr 19.
During that phase, MARS & MERCURY will be – somewhat unusually – in each others’ Zodiac signs a.k.a. in ‘mutual reception’. The Messenger & the Warrior have found each other.

Which all reinforces their shared themes…
…and has the effect that things can move really FAST – quite magical, just like blossoms in Spring!

 

The early Spring atmosphere has quite a MERCURY / MARS and ARIES / GEMINI fragrance:

• New (AR) ideas, contacts, interests, learning, conversations (GEM).
• Stirred up / provoked / stimulated / sharp (MARS) thoughts (MERCURY).
• Aggressive / assertive / argumentative / accusatory / ego-driven debates can pop up too – more so even???
• Issues round masculinity, competition, sex, war (MARS) are being talked / written about (MERCURY).
• Speaking UP does really come up.
• What is it you think the World or your circle of influence should know about?

Good to channel the fierce mental-physical energy of the GEMINI Warrior into fresh, bold, animated youthful curiosity, the desire to learn (esp. languages), reading & writing what you’re passionate about.

And into pro-actively getting in touch (yep, send them a message, phone them up!) with people whom you’d like to talk to, and perhaps cook up some Alchemy together.

So important – esp, when ‘mind attacks’ get you: Breathing, breathing, breathing with the Energy!

Physical GEMINI activities like cycling, tennis matches, multi-juggling buzzing around are also apropos…

Loved what a friend said : “When you walk or cycle the ‘idea fairies’ can be with you.” So true, new ideas come to me too when moving in nature w/o motor involved.

GEMINI  – The Alchemist of Polarities and Dualities

We could definitely use bridging of the extreme polarizations in the world since 2020 – based on views, ‘truths’, and trust – or lack thereof (SAG).

The Yin & Yang, Feminine & Masculine, united into the ‘Phoenix’ – but what about that Unicorn (just kidding)?
Yep, GEM has always more to add and comment on (just demo’ing, lol).

The MARS in GEMINI energy boost is fabulous for all YOUR GEMINI Planets, Ascendant, SUN and MOON.
Just watch not to get too distracted, and scattered into tooo many directions! 

 

MARS makes straight-up contacts with other ‘cosmic players’, while in GEM

One highlight time will be on / round March 28 when MARS lines up with the North Node – on the DAY of the LI – AR pre-Easter Full Moon – the first one in Spring! The other one on Apr 17 – with lots of activations from / to MARS in GEM.
And of course what stands out if the connection between MARS in GEM and MERCURY in ARIES – during ARIES season, from Apr 3 – 19.

No time to be shy – hit up what / whom you’re attracted to. Start a conversation (be easy on agenda, and curious instead).

Feeling deflated, disappointed, going nowhere…? Time to just chill.
In conversations, is there a tendency of overwhelm, escapism, addiction, a sense of victimhood? Or passive-aggressive tendencies?

Uhhh, the mutually receptive buddies link up directly. A boost for advocate journalism, passionate writing, fiery speeches and debates. Yes, the word / pen / keyboard can be the best weapon.
And we’re quite drawn to it all (mind on hyper-drive alert too!).

Hmmm, the U.S. and Canada are CANCER countries…
