The first FULL MOON in FALL is coming up, just 2 days freshly in the new Season!

It’s the Harvest Moon – the Full Moon closest to the Fall Equinox!

The next FULL MOONs will be all on Zodiac cusps too!
SEPT 24 at 1°59′ AR – LI
OCT 24 at 1°13′ TAU – SCO
NOV 23 at 0°52′ GEM – SAG
DEC 22 – the Winter Solstice FULL MOON at 0°49′ CAN – CAP.

There’s Magic and Alchemy on the Cusps.
I’ve been exploring over many years in my practice (yep, practically applied in our lives) what the flavours of the transitions from one Zodiac sign to the next are.
Only one has an ‘official’ name in Astrology: The Sphinx Point from LEO to VIR.
Suitable (and really cool) names for the other 11 cusps showed up intuitively.

The MOON will only enter ARIES at 4:04 pm PDT tomorrow MoOnday Sept 24 – to become exactly FULL at 7:52 pm PDT – rising fully as the Harvest Moon!

Why is the Full Moon closest to the Fall Equinox called Harvest Moon?
And is it really bigger than the other Full MOONs?
Voila – some legendary and astronomical features from EarthSky.

Astrologically, and in the progressions of Seasons, it’s a good time to acknowledge what’s coming to Fruition in this HARVEST Time – from the Summer, and from longer phases!

 

Ahhhh – we’re out of the Retro Record zone of Summer now – the first theme that comes to mind re: HARVEST.

A phase that offered opportunities galore (yet sometimes in the disguise of challenges) to tie up loose ends, and bring old (perhaps karmic, definitely habitual ) patterns to a conclusion.

Let’s take a look at what’s in the Planetary Harvest Basket of the Season:

 

HARVESTING MARS

The Retro / Harvest ‘SuperStar’ this season was arguably 😉 MARS, the Planet that goes retro the rarest, every 2 years only, plus, MARS was also in close encounter with Planet EARTH.

Definitely a strong Harvest theme, also since MARS rules ARIES where the Full Moon will be in tomorrow.

MARS Retro (June 26 – Aug 27) in AQ – CAP – AQ brought a RE-calibrating of the Inner Masculine. RE-activating of Community and Cooperation.

MARS (Hubble Telescope) How has the effect been for you?

Have you released old anger and battlegrounds in community, systems, society?
Beyond letting the ego (often the hijacker of MARS) take over, have you found Higher Ground / better social engagement from which to operate, and bring the best of your passion and energy into synergy with others?

Now MARS’s Summer craze is settling…. 
Its post-retro ‘storm’ went out with a BOOM last week: MARS in AQ square URANUS retro in TAU one more (# 3 of 3) time on Sept 18.
Beyond being ‘explosive’ and accident prone a chance to break through and break free from what has held us back and kept us stuck – a paradigm shift in action propelling us forward in a liberated way.
ExperiMANtation – no expectation.  
Activating the Inner Inventor.

Speaking of MARS – URANUS breakthroughs, I came to a spontaneous, intuitive, liberating intention / intervention, re: a project I’d been ‘sitting on’: “It’s an experiment” – makes all the difference, and gave me permission to move forward almost pressure free – YAY! 
At the same time, a liberation from old conditioning came with it.

This coming week, culminating on Sept 27, the SUN in LIBRA will go into AIR Trine with MARS in AQ – giving a boost of energy to fly high – and look at the situation from an objective and detached perspective that sees the system and the players / dynamics involved in a newer, freer light…. ahhh!

Other upcoming dynamics of Planets with MARS while moving through AQ (until Nov 15) are:

 

• A square from passionate VENUS retro in SCO, exact on Oct 10 – which is building up already since VENUS is slowing down for ‘her’ retro mode (starting on Oct 5), and in ‘pseudo square’ with MARS basically end of Sept to mid-Oct.
  “How deep is your LOVE?” is the theme for VENUS in SCO in her retro journey this Fall.
  While acting in Freedom & Friendship is the contrasting theme for MARS in AQ.
  A dynamic tension of  Intimacy and Freedom. Depth definitely doesn’t mean control / co-dependency. 
  More about VENUS going into ‘her’ upcoming retro Underworld Journey in this blog post.

 

• Another, rather short lived, square, from MERCURY in SCO also to MARS in AQ, on Oct 15.
  Maybe it’s time to communicate with clarity and depth what’s up (or rather: going on deep down) in your relationships, how this and that makes you feel (no blame / shame game – own your feelings!) to clear the air, and be in freedom with one another.

 

• Early to mid-November bodes well for the remaining MARS Journey through AQ:
  On Nov 9, VENUS end of LIBRA (at the end of ‘her’ retro phase) goes into lovely AIR Trine with MARS.
  On a rather (inter)personal level: Easy sailing’ in reciprocity and freedom.
  Collectively, what would be best choices for humanity, community, cooperation, synergy, and enlightened group consciousness, and to co-create a better future?
  Hmmm, did I say: U.S. mid term elections? Now I did… 
  Well, the cool thing is, on Nov 8, JUPITER comes out of SCO (been there since 10/10/2017), and rises like a Phoenix into SAG.
  Yes, now we know what it’s like in the Dark, understand why these things happen… yet don’t need stay ‘down’ there. The deep and important process can come to a conclusion, giving way to perspective, space, and freedom.
  I’m LOVING November already! ❤

 

• Also, on Nov 15, MARS goes (after the 3 squares in May, Aug, and Sept) into Sextile with electric URANUS – which will be by then (from – guess? – Nov 6 on!) back in late ARIES.
  A ‘double whammy’, a.k.a. a mutual reception, since they are in each others’ signs: 
  MARS the ruler of ARIES is in AQ, and URANUS the ruler of AQ is in AR. 
  Plus: this alignment happens literally on the Grand Finale Day of MARS in AQ (which started on May 15 – and it went into the first square with URANUS right the day after, May 16 – what a cosmic symmetry!).
  Expect the unexpected – except beautiful liberating domino effects! 🙂

 

HARVESTING with SATURN

The game changer in the retro-to-direct shift in September has been good ole SATURN in CAP.
SATURN is known to be the ‘grim reaper’ or even Father Death with the scythe – showing us what IS old and dead and ripe to be cut and pruned.  

The retro effect of SATURN (every year for about 4-5 months, this year Apr 17 – Sept 6) has been a ‘Harvest’ time to complete old karma, old contracts, old giving-authority-away, to step into authority and commitment cleared from those ‘shackles’ and in integrity from the inside-out.

The ‘Ringed One’ went out of retro technically on Sept 6.
When asked, “Would that be a good time to start committing and planning again?” I suggested: Wait at least until the VIRGO NEW MOON on 09/09. Always better to start anew after the New Moon – and to give SATURN at least a few days to shift gear (the ‘slow storm’ goes until Oct….). 

So happy to see in my own life and with friends and clients how commitment in integrity (SATURN-in-CAP) has come to pass in the last while, incl. in 3 weddings over the last week – I was so honoured to be present at one of them just yesterday!
Wished I could have bi-located to the other one as well that took place simultaneously but SATURN reminds us, we’re living in one form-body 😉 .

 

HARVESTED by PLUTO

PLUTO Revealed… One of the first pictures New Horizons transmitted from the close fly-by in July 2015.

The deep down / far out PLUTO – Archetype of transformational Evolution that’s ‘upon’ us – harvests what’s naturally subject to change (often by rolling out its shadow manifestations just as the winds of change are underway).

PLUTO is the transpersonal level of MARS (higher power vs. personal Warrior Archetype assertion and energy expression).

PLUTO these years (2008 – 2023) in CAP shows where the Old Empire is about to expire… and the ‘Old Regime’ / operating system is so due for an upgrade that honours the signs of the time:

A wiser and more respectful working with time, natural resources, and natural laws (so that resources humanity depends upon don’t expire….).
And to bring our best and most powerful essence to the table – because it’s timely – while the Dimension of Time transcends when we ARE in soulful Essence…

As PLUTO has been retro (every year for 5 months, this time Apr 22 – Sept 30) power issues have been ‘harvested’ – to show us where we give power away to others, esp. (with hierarchical CAP): to those UP there in ‘Power’, while truly: The Power and Soul Integrity that can’t be usurped is within.
How does it ‘land’ for you to deeply tune into this?

(Inter)personal Power issues are being ‘harvested’ with PLUTO retro anyway / always:
Ah – there we go again – and see how it’s really an inside game! 
As we connect with / as Source, what happens?

Wherever mid CAP is in your chart you learn these years with the PLUTO effect what Power-to-Change really means to you.

P.S. LOVE is a good candidate for the most powerful change agent that can ‘move mountains’ (a la CAP) – as the New Horizon’s mission to PLUTO revealed in July 2015 (see photo). 🙂

 

So hey, what’s with the super early (1°59′)

ARIES FULL MOON with CHIRON – on the ‘Emergence Point’? Pointing to our Authentic Nature….

CHIRON the Centaur turned Warrior.

Clearly a refreshing new Emergence – yes, something new comes to Life here! – in Partnerships and with all our Relations (LIBRA and the SUN – MOON opposition).

It’s a raw and vulnerable place there (with early AR , plus CHIRON retro so close to the FULL MOON). Yet, baby steps and just showing up authentically as life does is the Medicine.

Since CHIRON has been in ARIES this year (which also started on Apr 17 – the day when SATURN went retro) being authentic and ‘just showing up’ is the Medicine for the ‘Wounded Healer’.

SATURN retro and CHIRON have been squaring each other in July and Aug – a good phase to heal old restricting and fear based consciousness, and step back into Life with a natural impulse that’s not even called courage….

• How have you set yourself FREE from old conditioning?
• What’s emerging in you, and how do YOU show up a-NEW?

CHIRON (now retro, until Dec 8) will just one day after the FULL MOON on the PI – AR ‘Emergence Point’ go back into the Ocean of Oneness aka PISCES where it’ll dwell / surf / cruise until the full-on Emergence in AR on Feb 18, 2019. 
The initiation has taken place.
Now we can roll with it, go with the flow, follow synchronicities, be adaptable, open, and take / offer the Medicine of Connection (PI).

 

Let’s take a look at the SABIAN SYMBOL for the FULL MOON, at 1°59′ AR:

PHASE 2 (ARIES 2°): 
“A COMEDIAN REVEALS HUMAN NATURE.

KEYNOTE: The capacity to look objectively at oneself and at others.

While the first phase of the process of emergence is essentially in terms of subjective impulse and the desire to act, the second phase represents the attempt to evolve an objective awareness of existence. Through a sense of contrast, consciousness is gradually being built. 

It is what Teilhard de Chardin calls “reflective consciousness”: the ability to see oneself reflected as in a mirror, and eventually to laugh at the inadequacy of the form one sees; thus “humor,” the triumph of objective consciousness over subjective feeling or moods, or involvement in self. 

This symbol characterizes the second stage in the first five-fold sequence of phases: the stage of OBJECTIVATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS.
This second phase complements and polarizes the first, which stresses the subjective desire to become individually conscious.”

So yeah, spontaneous humour and laughing at ourselves / in the mirror of human nature is indeed a Healing Agent, and indeed required when treading ‘new ground’. 
A nice balance to the VIR – PI ‘Design Point’ of ‘Perfect Alignment’ (glitches included, ha-ha).

 

Which bring us to….

What’s the LIBRA side of the Equation?

It offers Conscious (SUN / MERCURY) Reflections, esp in Human Relationships, like:

• What would be conscious (SUN) choices (LIBRA) that meet the need (MOON) to be authentically, fully YOU (ARIES)?
  Hint – it starts with: Choose Yourself!
• What’s negotiable (LIBRA) / small stuff, and what’s not a good match / not genuinely compatible (LIBRA) or a deal breaker (URANUS – going back into ARIES over the Winter)?
• How could a Partnership look like (LIBRA) that brings out the partners’ authentic Beingness (CHIRON in ARIES) where the light is reflected to one another?
• Baby steps at a time (ARIES) are fine and normal, and a sense of humour is indispensable 😉
• Too much sitting on the fence, weighing and waiting (for the other to make a move, for ‘something’ to happen and tip the scale) doesn’t do it much longer.
  Good thing that the FULL MOON with CHIRON next to it in ARIES and MARS now direct in AQ remind us: Just go for it (you already know what it’s like to be in limbo), and then the next step will emerge.

Lots of questions to consider, says SUN / MERCURY in LIBRA.
Yet, i.m.o., being truly, spontaneously authentic in the Self naturally supports good choices, and things don’t ‘stick’ so much in relationships that need to be ‘ironed out’ again.
I know, it can be a balancing act to bring one’s true authentic Nature into relationship – but it’s actually more from the perspective of the conditioned Self an ‘issue’ than from the free, authentic Self.

 

Finally, to bring it all together into the picture, and add more Astro tech based comments esp. for you Astro buffs and hopefully accessible for everyone,

As you can see, there’s are TWO distinct closed figures in the cosmic pattern:

 

• A CARDINAL T-SQUARE,
  from the FULL MOON axis (MOON & CHIRON on the ARIES cusp, and SUN / MERCURY on the LIBRA cusp), both squared by stationary SATURN in early CAP.
  
  Lots of tension in critical matters that seem to require an outlet of the SATURN kind – a commitment in integrity.
  Yes, there might be issues regarding one’s needs or ‘Inner Child’ (the MOON), esp. (with the square to SATURN) fear of commitment, a stressful sense of scarcity / running out of time and resources. 
  What would be a wise (SATURN) conscious choice (SUN / MERCURY in LI) in your inner authority and responsibility (SATURN now direct again)?The MOON squares stationary SATURN and stationary / retro PLUTO on Sept 24 – 26:
  Showing up for yourself (maybe for the first time in this way) and for ‘coming alive’ brings renewed self agency and is naturally empowering.
  The SUN will also square SATURN (twice a year only) on Sept 25, and stationary (post-retro) PLUTO on Oct 11 / 12:
  Consciously standing in authority and Soul Power is vibrant and a shining example.

 

• A MYSTIC RECTANGLE,
  also with the (red) FULL MOON Axis, plus the (red) karmic Nodal Axis of MARS / LILITH / South Node in early AQ and North Node in early LEO in its centre, and (blue) trines and sextiles on the ‘outside’.A Mystic Rectangle is a relatively rare configuration, and it’s even more unique to have so many (seven) Planetary Archetypes involved on the 4 corners!
  Hence it’s very encompassing – a big theme of the Harvest Moon energy.Even though, on the (blue) outside everything seems quite smooth and cool, and gifts (trines) are abundant, yet there’s tension that may appear as polarities on the inside / in the inner game:
  Between the authentic ‘me’ (AR) and the ‘we’ (LIBRA) – which can be bridged through a shared commitment (T-square to SATURN), and even more so by being done with old modes of separation / polarity consciousness.
  And between ‘self-as-centre’ and ‘group consciousness’ (LEO / AQ).
  The North Node in LEO suggests to self-express, be self loving and as a reflection seen and loved.
  Whereas the South Node suggests to co-create (esp. with MARS post-retro and LILITH there) in group cooperation where everyone contributes from their best and true free nature. 
  In the Balance of the Nodal Axis it’s wise to enhance the North Node and tone down the South Node with its outlived redundancy:
  The model of LEO VIP’s / privileged one/s being watched by the AQ ‘commoners’ – with the effect of giving narcissists wayyy too much attention is a ‘been there, done that’ a not-so-healthy example of ‘show time’ – and we lose energy through ‘just watching / listening’. And watching too many videos can be isolating (AQ SN) too…
  While a healthy LEO – AQ expression would be Community (AQ) holding space for a very special (LEO) ceremony – as was the case at the wonderful and magical wedding I attended on the weekend.
  
  
  Everyone’s a Star, and playfulness and creativity come in so many ways, says LEO.
  No need to put a big ‘cat’s meow’ show on and dress to impress (and overdo LEO), nor to binge watch celebrities to have a vicarious sense of importance – which only leaves you more empty, Living Life Lovingly and from the Heart is the core of LEO Consciousness.
  And co-creation makes us all feel playfully involved in the Theatre of Life.
  With the Mystic Rectangle:
  How would the Mystic live the inner ‘dilemma’ with outer calm and grace?

The VENUS Retro ‘Season’ is almost ON!

Dear Friends in Cosmic Consciousness,

welcoming the VENUSian Turning Point into ‘her’ internal retro mode I’ve been reflecting on the patterns and experiences – the ‘story line’ of the previous VENUS Retro phases (every 18 months). There’s an inner thread between VENUS Retro phases.

I often re-connected with significant others, and found the deeper truth of the relationship which could lead to transformation and often release… 

If you’d like to tune in too, and find clues, here’s the line-up of the last three VENUS Retro phases, since the BIG one – the ‘VENUS Passage’ over the Sun disk in early June 2012 – remember?

May 15 – June 27, 2012 – in GEMINI

Dec 21, 2013 – Jan 31, 2014 – in CAP

July 25 – Sept 6, 2015 – in LEO
March 4 – Apr 15, 2017 – in AR / PI

VENUS presently the ‘Evening Star’, will go ‘into the Underworld’ to regenerate herself as the Morning Star!
VENUS is now stationary in early SCORPIO, and will go retro (inward-backward) on Oct 5 (until Nov 16).
This cosmic process will help us shift from being so Other-oriented (VENUS ‘Evening Star’ has a LIBRA undertone: pleasing, comparing, copying, judging) to find our Intrinsic Value, fall in Love with ourselves, and naturally attract from there (VENUS ‘Morning Star has a TAURUS undertone)!

The VENUS retro phase happens only every 18 months (last one March 4 – Apr 15, 2017 as mentioned – perhaps you remember VENUS retro themes you were experiencing and learning then and which are rippling over again?).

With VENUS ‘cruising’ now in early SCO, close to JUPITER, the inner and outer Feminine is deep, intimate, powerful, and magnetic – which IS attractive – maybe a bit scary too (for those afraid of her power)…

A lot has been processed in many ways, since JUPITER entered SCO on 10/10/2017 – the same week as the Me Too movement started. 
No more closet space for hidden agenda / behind closed doors abuse of the Feminine – and of any Being for that matter….!

With VENUS’s present slowing down period (‘she”s already in pre-retro stationary ‘storm’) you might have noticed ‘early VENUS retro symptoms’ and premonitions about the effect of VENUS retro:

• Have loved ones and lovers ‘from the past’ / from ‘past’ relationships (even from different time lines) RE-connected with you, or ‘just’ shown up in your life? 
• Have you been RE-minded of, and attracted to RE-connect with them?
• Are you drawn to connect in good synergy and intimacy (LI / SCO), but so many things are ‘in the way’ / old agenda needs to be cleared first????
• Are you called to be more deeply involved with Life and All Our Relations, from within? 

 

The VENUS retrograde phase will be a checking in on, and evaluating of our patterns in relationships:
How, whom, and what we desire and attract, and what’s really a good harmonious match for us.

Even more so, it’s a RE-newal of Self-Love, and Self-Value, and a RE-alignment of whom, what, and how we bring into our lives, with Consciousness (the SUN). 

VENUS is pre-, during, and post-retro for a long time in SCORPIO (started Sept 9, and goes until Oct 31, then again post-retro Dec 2 – Jan 8).

• What attracts and bonds you to your loved and not-so-loved ones?
• What’a your sense are your soul agreements?
• What’s your intimacy based on?

With JUPITER holding space in SCO nearby: 
What can be brought out into the open and to awareness now?
Perhaps to outgrow it – or you already have, and it just needs to be ‘aired’?

VENUS retro will cross from SCO back into LIBRA on Oct 31, before ‘she’ dives fully back into SCO on Dec 2 – only two weeks after coming out of retro. 
Finding Self Love, in Peace, Harmony, and Balance.

 

When VENUS has reached the half-way point of ‘her’ retro journey on Oct 26, ‘she’ meets the SUN – a ‘NEW VENUS’ is born!
A turning point where we have come back to ourselves, let Spirit  (the SUN) lead, and attractions that are aligned with Consciousness can follow.

 

Esp. if you have SUN, MOON, PLANETS, or AC in late LIBRA / early SCO this VENUS retro phase will be a gift for you, to transform deep old patterns about attraction and relationship – in relation to those Planetary Archetypes.
And to fall in love with yourself, with life, with consciousness, while naturally magnetizing from that place.

As mentioned, the purpose of VENUS retro is to transform from the recent Evening Star quality (LIBRA undertone) into a Morning Star (TAURUS undertone) / Goddess of the Dawn.

In the retro phase it’s time to release esp. co-dependency.

We tend to project denied parts of ourselves onto another, and re-attract them because of the charge and ‘contract’ we hold.

Maybe this excerpt from an interview that movie star Gwyneth Paltrow did with Gay and Katie Hendricks speaks to you – it found me again, under VENUS pre-retro:

What is a conscious relationship?

• “In a co-dependent relationship, you have two halves trying to become whole: one person who doesn’t love him/herself trying to get the other person to love them anyway.” 

• “A conscious relationship is one in which people are awake to themselves, their feelings and thoughts, and are open to the flow of love and attention with one another.

• “In a conscious relationship, you can be completely yourself AND completely connected.

What are some examples of co-dependent vs. conscious relationship?

•  Co-dependent: “You have difficulty allowing others to feel their feelings. If someone feels bad, you rush in to make it better because you think it’s your fault. You worry about other people’s feelings frequently.”
  Conscious: “You are able to be present and attentive when people around you are feeling their emotions. You encourage them to feel their emotions deeply and to express those feelings openly.”

 

• Co-dependent: “In spite of your ‘best efforts’ people around you do not change their bad habits.”
  Conscious: “You commit to stop enabling the bad habits of people you care about. Instead, you take effective actions that give people the opportunity to take full responsibility for their own well-being.”

 

• Co-dependent: “You have secrets. There are things you have done or not done that you are hiding from another person.”
  Conscious: “You have no secrets. You reveal rather than conceal. You understand that hiding your feelings causes you to withdraw from intimacy, and you take every opportunity to speak honestly about your feelings.”

 

• Co-dependent: “You do not let yourself feel the full range of your feelings. You are out of touch with one or more core emotions such as anger, fear, or sadness. Anger is a particular problem for you. You find it hard to admit that you’re angry, and you have trouble expressing it to other people.”
  Conscious: “You recognize the body sensations that let you know you’re angry. You communicate about all your feelings in a straightforward, easy manner that others can understand.”

 

• Co-dependent: “You criticize or get criticized frequently. You have a strong, nagging internal critic that keeps you feeling bad even in moments when you could be feeling good.”
  Conscious: “You experience very little criticism, either from outside or within. Your internal critic is in full retirement, having been replaced by a strong inner appreciator.”

 

• Co-dependent: “You try to control other people, to get them to feel and be a certain way, and you spend a lot of energy being controlled or avoiding being controlled by others.”
  Conscious: “You are aware of those things you can control and the things you cannot control. You put your attention on things you can change, such as expressing what’s true and keeping your agreements, and you make choices that support those areas you can actually influence.”

 

• Co-dependent: “In arguments, much energy is spent in trying to find out whose fault it is. Both people struggle to prove that they are right, or to prove the other wrong.
  Conscious: “When difficulties or differences arise, you shift into wonder and healthy responsibility, asking, “Hmmm…, how am I creating this, and what could I do differently to create a better result?”

 

• Co-dependent: “In arguments, you find yourself pleading victim or agreeing that you were at fault.”
  Conscious: “You take full responsibility for the events that happen in your relationship. You invite the other person to take full responsibility, too. You understand that a relationship can only take place between two people who are equals, both taking full responsibility for events that occur; anything else is an entanglement, not a relationship.”

 

• Co-dependent: “You frequently agree to do things you do not want to do, feel bad about it, but say nothing.”
  Conscious: “You consider every agreement before making it, and listen closely to your body wisdom as well as your mind as to whether you should make it. You keep the agreements you make and know how to change an agreement that isn’t working.”

MERCURY in LIBRA (Sept 21 – Oct 9) – Peace of Mind / Mind of Peace

…as the VIRGO season and MERCURY in late (double) VIR just connected (on Sept 20) with the SUN, before moving into fine & fair LIBRA this evening – the SUN to follow – FALL EQUINOX is tomorrow evening, Sept 22.
Maybe you – like myself – used these last Summer days and MERCURY in late VIR for an inventory in your work world / space and household. What works best logistically and is well designed?

I call the VIR – LI cusp (where MERCURY and the SUN align) the ‘Design Point’ – where functionality and beauty / health and harmony meet. One could also call it ‘Feng Shui Point’ 🙂

This MERCURY / SUN union (a.k.a. ‘superior conjunction’) is furthest away from / exactly in-between MERCURY retro phases (the last one was July 25 – Aug 18, the next one will be Nov 16 – Dec 6).
I.o.w., MERCURY is moving the fastest now, and is the shortest time in a sign it can be – in LIBRA only for 2 1/2 weeks, until Oct 9.

“Hmmm, we could use more of the peaceful and balanced LIBRAn energy for MERCURY….” – you might say. Well, here’s the window – and it’s probably perfectly aligned the way it is (the Universe knows what it’s doing, ha-ha)…

With such an ‘un-retro MERCURY’, the mental sphere is now quite clear and great for planning, organizing, and: for mindfulness that generates Peace of Mind, and a ‘storm free’ Mind of Peace.

How about dedicating this phase (Sept 21 – Oct 9) to:

• Making wise, well informed choices.
• Being aware where we could involve others more into our choices (being informed / supported by friends / counsel), and where we almost let them chose for us, or make our choices dependent on them…. that can turn into a strategic chess game – not so great.
  Where’s the happy medium / sweet spot?
• Cultivating practices that bring us balance:
  Where have your mental activities / involvement become imbalanced?
  Let me guess: Perhaps too much screen time and virtual communication, not enough face-to-face (a LIBRAn theme) communication with others?
  See what they mirror to you, and how you groove with each other like in a dance!
  Maybe it’s time to bring more social and cultural activities and mental stimuli into your life? LIBRAn times end of Sept to end of Oct are always great anyway for new social endeavours – maybe literally dancing – which IS good for the brain and mind….
• Cultivating peace – which starts in the mind:
  Where are you divided / taking sides / being allies, and argue back and forth in your mind or with others, while the truth is in the middle? How can the opposites be married?
  What would be a thought and statement that brings peace to this…. situation?
• Surrounding yourself with, and walk in harmony:
  What does harmony mean to you? Which environments provide that for you? What’s a good match that creates harmony in you?
• Speaking / corresponding with your loved ones about important matters.
  What’s the ‘contract’ between you (a formal agreement, or the soul contract)?
  What does it take to keep the dynamics between you balanced? This can be a good time to bring it up in conversation – in a considerate yet clear way that aims for win-win.

PLUTO goes direct / forward on Sept 30: POWER to Change!

We’re in PLUTO U-Turn mode!

On Sept 30, PLUTO in mid-CAP turns direct / forward again!
The LIBRA New Moon on Oct 8 will square PLUTO, reminding us that POWER has to do with making wise choices, resulting in peace, balance, and harmony.

PLUTO’s retro trip since Apr 22 has brought up a lot of collective and personal inner and old  conditioning and shown where we can feel disempowered through controlling power structures and hierarchies. This could have manifested in personal, interpersonal and societal dynamics.

This is a turnaround phase to take our Power back, and / or not give it away in the first place. 
Many man-made / human-controlled greed & fear based structures might be hard to come by / seem to require ‘moving mountains’ to make changes in distribution / accessibility.
Yet, that’s also an old Capitalist and PISCES Age story that’s changing now. Too slowly??? Just-in-Time?

Inquiry questions, with the CAP theme these years (2008 – 2023) of PLUTO’s CAP destruction and REbuilding process:

• What and where are RESOURCES (collectively and personally speaking) that don’t produce more waste but are renewable?
• How can we engage in a state that isn’t efforting / resisting but resourceful and regenerative?
• Who are the ones (really!) in charge???
• What’s controlling us, and how can we take POWER back?
• What’s Power from the inside-out?
• How can we work wisely with TIME?
• How can we be free from / beyond time control, and in timeless awareness?

With the stationary / direct PLUTO in CAP mode, it’s Time to RE-generate from within, in Nature, and in our True Nature.

What’s the POWER to CHANGE?

Where can the change in you be sourced?
What can the status quo change into?

• The Power of TIME and Timeliness.
  How do we know when TIME is ‘right & ripe”?
  Tuning into our inner Soul Time intuition is the way to go. And Astrology can help by showing us the cosmic cycles, and how to align with them, assisting our natural inner knowing and alignment.
  Don’t let yourself get pressured by external forces (“You should be already….”) and time scarcity, in this ever so 24/7 production mode world – which isn’t really all that productive anyway if natural cycles of rest and regeneration aren’t honoured.
  So perhaps the Power of TIME means to slow down, smell the Roses, and let things ripen…?
• Honouring the Elders, and Receiving Guidance.
  Elders may be biological Elders, Spirit Elders, the spirit of the ‘Old World’…
  Being guided by them and towards them can be very powerful if you hear the call.
• Working Well with Resources. Being Resourceful.
  Which ties into Time and Natural Laws…
  Working respectfully with the cycles of Nature, incl. our own nature, the human life cycle and day-to-day cycles. CAP traditionally works with the Land and cooperates with Nature.
  When and where is a good time / place to seed / plant / harvest?
  There’s simplicity and beauty in this. Can we apply it again more into our lives?
  CAP says: I use what’s here and make the best out of it. I’m resourceful.
  The shadow would be to abuse, over-use, and the lack would be to under-use what would be a helpful resource.
  So, bottom line: TIME for an inventory / invent-ory.
• Wisdom of the Body.
  The most obvious ‘earthly resource’ is our body of course. Mid-CAP where PLUTO is now has also a TAURUS undertone – TAU rules embodiment and sensations.
  Don’t let yourself get de-stabilized from chaos and imbalance around (an – understandable but not helpful – low grade experience of UR going back into late AR early Nov to early March).
  Find and stand your ground.
  Let’s definitely bring the wisdom of the BODY in, for wise choices, and empowering change!
  

 

Let’s take a look at the

Sabian Symbols for the PLUTO U-Turn Point

PLUTO goes direct / forward from on Sept 30 at 18’45° CAP.

I’ll use both 18° and 19° CAP this time, to show you the theme where PLUTO would have almost gone back to (18°) but didn’t quite. This ground had been already covered (dug up and transformed) by PLUTO – representing the Power of Evolution:

 

PHASE 288 (CAPRICORN 18°): 
“THE UNION JACK FLAG FLIES FROM A BRITISH WARSHIP.

“Type 45 Destroyer HMS Daring leaving Portsmouth Harbour on its maiden deployment. Britain has no major warships deployed on operations beyond home waters in what has been described as an ‘unprecedented’ (!) absence of the vessels on the world stage.” See PA story Defence Warships. KEYNOTE:
The protection afforded to individuals and groups by powerful institutions in charge of maintaining order.

This symbol reflects conditions prevailing in the past when Great Britain’s fleet was policing the seas under the international principle of the freedom of the seas.
Times have changed, but the concept remains valid.
Power is required to maintain social order and relatively peaceful interpersonal as well as international relationships.
Alas, this power can easily be misused under the pretext of preserving “law and order.” Justice and compassion must balance social power, and especially the power of privileged groups.

Where this symbol appears, the need for protection may be in evidence — or it may be a warning against using power for selfish advantage.

This is the third symbol in the fifty-eighth five-fold sequence. It brings to us a realization of the ambivalence of POLITICAL POWER, its value and its dangers.”

Definitely, we’ve seen a lot of what the description of this symbol represents on the World Power ‘Stage’ (is it all a play???), amped up in the last few years.

Get this: 
PLUTO first touched on the 18° CAP degree in Spring 2016, and then went fully over it from Feb 2017 on, completing (off the U-turn grind) the ‘death-to-the-old and make-over’ by end of October 2018!
Just in time for Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, and:
For the U.S. midterm elections on Nov 6 (ha, on the second-last day of JUPITER in SCO which is ruled by PLUTO – deep sh..-to-change for the better).

 

 

And here’s the next degree – showing what’s up for change, where the shadow lies, and also where the evolution can come from.
PLUTO will activate it in Oct / Nov (and already has, early this year):

 

PHASE 289 (CAPRICORN 19°): 
“A FIVE-YEAR-OLD CHILD CARRYING A BAG FILLED WITH GROCERIES.

KEYNOTE:
Rising to the occasion when asked to assume social responsibilities ahead of one’s normal development.

What seems to be implied at this stage of the cyclic process is the value of early conditioning in teaching one how to fulfill the responsibilities of everyday life in our modern society. This twentieth scene of the complete process has been entitled “Group performance,” and today it is evident that Children at an early age are expected to assume a family role which at times will strain their natural capacities. This is part of the accelerating pace of our technological society.

This fourth stage symbol evokes the possibility of meeting a certain type of social opportunity which normally may seem premature.
A pattern of ACCELERATED GROWTH can thus be established, with both positive and negative aspects. Rushing ahead of one’s natural development may be damaging; yet we are living in a particularly dynamic period of human evolution.”

Please note: Dane Rudhyar wrote this interpretation of the Sabian Symbols in 1973! Ever so timely and intensified in the meantime….

Yes, we need to assume and carry the grocery bags of responsibility where ‘protective adults’ i.e. political powers and people in charge have failed to take care of human needs.
In fact, the whole hierarchical, patriarchal societal pyramidal subordination system is undergoing massive change, and everybody is called to step up to the occasion – whatever our ‘position’ (what’s that anymore?) may be.
And good news:
Instead of buying into and relying on what’s been ‘fed’ to the people by the ‘elite’ we can choose our quality ‘groceries’ (on all levels), access resources, and build the new from the bottom up.
Which might translate into: Living Simply so that Others can Simply Live!

That’s where it’s going i.m.o., as we’re gradually moving into the Aquarian Age – PLUTO leaving CAP, and entering AQ in 2023 being a clear indicator.

Sept 22: Fall Equinox / Mabon – Perfect Balance?

On the ‘symmetrical date’, at 1:02 pm PDT / 3:02 pm EDT / 9:02 pm GDT, the SUN will enter LIBRA.

Balance – Balance – Balance…

Let’s hold space, and find inner Balance, these times when it is more than ever required. Wise choices result.

This year on Sat Sept 22 at 6:26 pm PDT, the SUN crosses from VIRGO to LIBRA, the sacred point where ‘Perfect Balance’ resides:

On Sept 22 and 23, the days and nights are exactly equally long in the Northern and Southern hemisphere, as the SUN is exactly above the Equator!
Equi-nox literally means in Latin: Equal night.

Here’s a nice simple and clear astronomical illustration

 

Celtic Wheel of the Year, with Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha,, Lughnassadh / Lammas, Mabon / FALL EQUINOX, Samhain, and Yule.

On this sacred Balance Point, we are celebrating one of the Four Solar Turning Points of the Year: Autumnal Equinox, a.k.a. Mabon.

In the Medicine Wheel it is related to the West, the place of the Setting Sun.

Which corresponds with LIBRA in the Zodiac, the energy we’re moving into now with the Fall Equinox: 
LIBRA rules in the horoscope the 7th house above the Western horizon – the astrological field related to one-on-one relationships with significant others in our lives.

* VENUS goes retro (every 1 1/2 years) from Oct 5 to Nov 16 – this time from SCO to LIBRA.
‘She’ changes from the ‘Evening Star’ (can you see her these evenings….?) in ‘her’ journey ‘through the underworld’ when we can’t see VENUS for several weeks as ‘she’ connects with the SUN and Solar Consciousness before rising as the ‘Morning Star’ again before Sunrise.
In this phase we’re invited to transform from letting ourselves be too much defined by others (co-dependent relationships, comparison, jealousy….) to come back to our True Self, our Spirit and Consciousness (the SUN) and find our intrinsic value and joy in life – a much better magnet for attraction! 🙂

have you seen bright orange and bigger-than-usual MARS in the night sky this Summer – in close encounter to Earth?

Even more important and the astrological side of things:

How have you experienced its effects???

MARS is this year in AQ for a looong time: 5 months!

It already sat on the early AQ cusp for quite a while, May 15 – Aug 12.
After the retro (June 26 – Aug 27) and post-retro ‘storm’ phase which led MARS back into CAP (Aug 12 – Sept 10) MARS will be now back in AQ, fully activating the Zodiac energy of friendship, group consciousness, community, networks, and humanity all the way through, from Sept 10 – Nov 15.

We humans are getting this year an energy boost to show up and do the work that’s required (CAP) – in Community (AQ), with everybody contributing with their resources and what they’re best at (CAP),  where nobody’s the boss in old-consciousness ways (PLUTO in CAP 2008 – 2023 is taking care of that change). A circle of equals, beyond the linear / hierarchical authority model.
Humanity matters.

It can be worthwhile to RE-view the extensive MARS retro post from June 9 – now as we’re integrating the change – MARS is still in ‘post-retro storm’ until early Oct and in AQ until mid-Nov.

How can we move (rather than backwards into the hierarchical / subordinating / even abusive ‘Old Regime’ / shadow of CAP) into a brighter, freer Future together (AQ)?

 

What has your experience of the MARS retro phase (still fresh, just ended Aug 27) been?

MARS retro is a re-calibration of how we pursue things (the Martian Warrior can be easily hijacked by the ego), and of the ‘traditional Masculine’.
The incentive has been to back off from engaging in / reacting to old school top-down ruling over.
And to lead by example, by moving forward in integrity, contributing our best qualities, and bringing them into community and humanity.
Yep, there’s been ‘unfinished business’ (CAP) around the old ways of leadership, and even though it’s been brought up many times in history, we need to re-visit it, to affect change.

 

The MARS pre-to-post retro in AQ-CAP-AQ has been very apropos what’s been going on in Canadian society, politics, and justice this Spring and Summer:
Just as MARS turned direct end of CAP end of Aug the Canadian Federal Court quashed a massive pipeline project that the government had tried to impose over years onto the land and the people,
and end of May (before MARS retro) even bought the pipeline from the company – for 4.5 billion(!) Cdn$ “to ensure it will be built” which caused a big uproar of anger in society (MARS was freshly in AQ then, in square with URANUS freshly in TAU) – what a waste(!!!), and case of old world power-over imposition style ‘leadership’.
The lack of meaningful and respectful consultations with Indigenous Peoples – let alone consent – has been a no-brainer for everyone with common sense (CAP – AQ), and a blatant case of lack of integrity with the mandate of Truth and Reconciliation.
I guess the Liberals have gotten a lesson to stop taking these liberties. And such a relief to see Justice won, even if Justin doesn’t agree.
Very satisfying to see the legal system honour First Nations rights and Nature that needs humanity to speak up for it – as it’s already in jeopardy, and as we all inter-depend.

 

Now it’s high time to invest our time, energy, and collaboration into what we DO want to see in the world and for the Future:

 

 

Those of us you born with SUN, MOON, AC, MC, Nodes, or Planets in in (esp. late) CAP and (esp. early) AQ have been most affected by this Martian Summer action and retro-activity.

And if you have Astro energies on the other 3 cusps end of AR / early TAU, end of CAN / early LEO, end of LI / early SCO that MARS squares or opposes a lot is stirred up for you too, to bring you back into a healthy energy expression and cooperation.

 

With the VIRGO NEW MOON on 09 / 09, a Grand (early) Fixed Cross is activated, between

• stationary MARS / LILITH / the South Node on the CAP / AQ ‘Prometheus Point’ cusp – where MARS enters AQ on Sept 10.

The most dominant theme in the Fixed Grand Cross is the re-curring square from MARS in early AQ to URANUS in early TAU – once more exact on Sept 18.

MARS has this Spring / Summer indeed been forming 3 squares from early AQ to URANUS (ruler of AQ) which is now newly in TAU – no wonder things have been very shaky, and unsettled / unsettling:

• May 15 (before MARS retro) – with the Kilauea Eruption just days before.
• Then in retro Aug 1 (under MARS retro, and URANUS stationary – went retro on Aug 7) – start of the re-curring (already last year alarming) raging Wildfires here in Western Canada and U.S, esp. California.
• Again soon, on Sept 18 in MARS forward (post retro) mode. Yes, it’s hurricane season by then… don’t want to sound dramatic, and with MARS – URANUS it’s ‘expect the unexpected’ anyway…

The MARS – URANUS tension eases up over the month of October.
At the very last day of its journey through AQ, on Nov 15, MARS will go into friendly and synergistic sextile with URANUS retro which by then will be back at the very end of AR (ruled by MARS).
May we be able to see by then how the challenges of the Summer and Fall have turned into gifts of freedom!

This ‘double’ (MARS – AQ – URANUS – AR) whammy and triple / quadruple MARS – URANUS activation in 2018 is a very rare phenomenon that definitely gets our attention – to shift into freedom.

VIRGO New Moon 09 / 09 / 18 opposite NEPTUNE, and with Fixed Grand Cross: Natural Alignment and Flow, in the ‘Hub of the ‘Wheel’

Dear ASTRO*NEWS Reader,

wow, just when we might think the Eclipse Season and Retro Record Summer is settling (and being washed away / cleaned up with the current final first solid rain here on the Island since…. June?) the VIRGO NEW MOON that’s coming up on 09 / 09 / 18 – nice date line-up job 😉 – can bring quite some tension to the forefront (yes, it catalyzes a Fixed Grand Cross!), plus overwhelm and con-fusion yet also Saving Grace – as NEPTUNE in PISCES holds space from the other side.

How do we align (VIRGO), and what happens as we tune in, connect and flow (PISCES)?

 

Let’s first take a look at the SABIAN SYMBOL for the NEW MOON degree – since it’s striking:

SUN and MOON at the New Moon will be exactly at 17° 00’ VIR.

17° VIRGO:

We are dealing here with the dramatic release of energies which have been kept in check by the outer shell of the ego controlled consciousness. Ahhh, lots of sticky karmic residues that came up with the Super Retro Summer are ready to be skillfully cleared with conscious awareness, and washed away, with this ‘Clean-up’ New Moon opposite NEPTUNE which – so that it doesn’t have to ‘erupt’,’explode’, and leave ‘toxic fumes’.

A NEW MOON is always a threshold from Releasing the Old to Embracing / Conceiving of the NEW.

Old VIRGO energy that doesn’t serve anymore comes as shadow to the forefront of awareness (maybe painfully so) to be ‘switched’ into a healthier, more functional, and purer vibration.

Here’s a VIRGO type ‘check list’ of ‘symptoms’ which might show their not-so-pretty face now.
Only to be RE-leased and RE-set, with ‘Like heals Like’ higher vibrational VIRGO equivalents:

Lower Vibration of VIRGO – to RE-lease	Higher Vibration of VIRGO – to RE-set and Embrace
(Self) Criticism (criticism carries self-criticism)	(Self) Awareness, clarity
Worries, anxiety, and problem focus	How can I help? How can I give service where needed? What would help / serve the situation?
Frustration, nagging	What do I need to discern and sort out of my life because it’s not functional or unhealthy? What actually does work? How could it work? What needs to be tweaked?
Sweating the small stuff, fretting over details	Every little thing counts and can be symbolic. Every life form in nature has its place. Maybe I feel called to do ceremony / ritual?
Health issues, esp. with digestion	What is indigestible in my life? What is my body trying to tell me?
Sense of never enough, ‘smallness’, inadequacy	How do I get a sense of integration as I honour and work with my skills and specialties?
‘Selective perception of the imperfection’	I am / we are / it is whole and complete. Practice IS perfect. Nature is perfect.

The VIRGO Journey is about alignment of the human self with cosmic consciousness, through awareness, spiritual practice, and / or acts of service.

The NEW MOON in VIR is almost precisely (only 2° off) opposite NEPTUNE retro in PI!
The SUN already opposed NEPTUNE on Fri Sept 7 (once a year), and the MOON follows, just 3 hrs before the New Moon.

PISCES, in contrast to VIRGO can be so overwhelming and chaotic – only to show:
All is ONE, and holographic in the UNI-verse. 

We’ve had lots of initiations into this, over the years since NEPTUNE has been in PI (entered 2012, now about half-way in, and still going on until 2026)

 

The VIRGO – PISCES axis is all about…

… from the VIRGO side:
Being in our ‘Temple’ of alignment with our true, holistic nature, doing our wellness practice, and using this precious life time to dedicate our gifts and skills to make the world a better place. In other words, offering sacred service.

VIR is also about digesting experiences, ordering and organizing.
In the body, it rules the small intestines.

… from the PISCES realm…
…which is all-encompassing, and nothing needs to be ‘done’, our ‘job’ is rather to perhaps get our ego and attachment to a certain outcome out of the way, be open, surrender, be available, allow, flow, hold space, or simply: BE present.

In our embodiment, PI rules the immune system, our aura, energy field, the subtle bodies and chakras (as a field).

 

So, a combo of both VIRGO and PISCES could look like:

• Ride the waves, immerse in your element.
• Your skills are what comes easy.
• Holding space for others can be the best service you can offer.
• Clean up and play music.
• Energy Medicine. AstroSomatics.
• Sacred Geometry.
• Astrology and its practical, embodied benefits.
• Being in the world, yet not of the world. Doing what needs to be done, yet not in attachment.
• God helps those who help themselves. Doing our share, and trusting divine intervention.
• Random acts of kindness & service bring fulfillment.

 

BALANCE is the way to go, or rather to BE:

In the ‘whirlwind’ of things that can kick us off balance – an unhealthy thing, of course:
How can we infuse a situation where ‘problems’ can show up, or we / things are not aligned, with flow, allowance, acceptance, and love, which might mean release and let go(d) (PI)?

A transformation into sustainable (rather than wasteful) use of life energy – the New MOON in VIR is also in Earth Trine with PLUTO retro / stationary (to turn around on Sept 30) in CAP.

Wow! So much tension in the Fixed Grand Cross that’s exactly on between Sept 8 (VENUS square MARS) and Sept 18 (MARS square URANUS)!
Rather than being stuck in low vibrational locked, stubborn ego dominated patterns where bullying and territorialism (based on scarcity and separation) rule, and where we attract more sticky, hurtful situations…. yet perhaps repress lots of frustrations because it isn’t socially acceptable to burst out with them (see initial Sabian Symbol of Volcanic Eruption)…

… let’s be aware and mindful a la VIRGO, check in: “Hey, what’s going on here?” “Where am I at?” “What am I doing / engaging in…?” “Does this work for me?” “What’s a better way of….”?), and dwell as much as possible in the ‘hub of the wheel’ where we aren’t identified or painfully attached.
Let’s be inspired by the NEW MOON in VIR opposite NEPTUNE in PI, and channel the intense energies into intentional and random acts of service, wellness, and spiritual practice (hey, everything can be!).

 

The MARS – URANUS tension will ease up over the month of October.
At the very last day of its journey through AQ, on Nov 15, MARS will go into friendly and synergistic sextile with URANUS retro which by then will be back at the very end of AR (ruled by MARS).
May we be able to see by then how the challenges of the Summer and Fall have turned into gifts of freedom!

• SATURN now freshly direct and stationary in early CAP in Earth Trine with URANUS retro in TAU – active throughout August and Sept (strongest when SATURN went direct on Sept 6):
  Integrity supports freedom from old ‘comfort zones’ and habits that keep us stuck.
  Also – see Federal Court ruling re: pipeline, nobody should get away with bullying or otherwise abuse, not ‘even’ the government.
• CHIRON retro in early AR will re-enter PI on Sept 25 over the Fall and early Winter – the Harvest Moon on Sept 24 will be imbued with that energy… more about it in the Full Moon blog post.
• PLUTO retro is getting stationary, as it’ll turn direct on Sept 30 – more about that also in the Harvest Moon post.

VENUS crosses the Alchemy Point into SCORPIO (09 / 09), to go retro Oct 5 – Nov 16: How deep is your Love?

VENUS in fair LIBRA crosses tonight the ‘Alchemy Point’ / ‘Tipping Point’, and starts ‘her’ underworld journey in SCORPIO (Sept 9 – Oct 31 & Dec 2 – Jan 8)!

VENUS will be for a long time in LIBRA and SCORPIO this Fall and early Winter since she’ll go retro from Oct 5 to Nov 16 (from mid-SCO back to late LI, the ‘Alchemy Point’) – which adds another layer of ‘underworld journey’!

VENUS is now ‘Evening Star’ (setting after the SUN), which also has a LIBRA ‘undertone’, showing us, we can make our life and self-worth a lot about other people (comparing ourselves, etc…).

The VENUS retro phase (every 1 1/2 years) will help us come back to our own self-value. Which often starts with:
Re-evaluating relationships…
Inner Goddess re-emerging.

Under VENUS in SCORPIO, we’re attracted to the mystery, to peek behind the scenes, to go deeper and more intimately in relationships with significant ‘others’.

I heard once a VENUS in SCO quote: “Intimacy = into me I see – through you!”

We also attract experiences that call for emotional processing – esp. as VENUS goes into her retro ‘Underworld Journey’ – starting from SCORPIO.
As we’re drawn to  look under the surface, we discover hidden beauty in the dark and changeful.

Don’t get too absorbed in a low vibrational ‘magical black hole’ of stuff like online crime scenes, vampire movies, or real life vampiric situations(!), personal power games, and addictions that suck your life blood.

Here’s already a peek at the chart for the onset of VENUS Retro 2018:

 

 

On the ‘U-turn’ (Oct 5), VENUS will come close to, yet not fully join JUPITER in SCO, as you see in the chart above, and rather ‘back off’.
Their meeting will be only on Jan 22, when both are well into SAG – showing how spacious, generous, fun, and truly free relationships can look like!

The VENUS retro and post-retro phase can help us with processing of what’s stuck and preventing this freedom:

• What attracts and bonds you to your loved and not-so-loved ones?
• What are your soul agreements?
• What’s your intimacy based on?
• With JUPITER holding space in SCO nearby: What can be brought out into the open and to awareness now? Perhaps to outgrow it – or you already have, and it just needs to be ‘aired’?

Tuning into the trine from VENUS to (‘her higher octave’) NEPTUNE, now also retro in PISCES – an alignment that will be close (not exact – 4° apart) and stationary early to mid-Oct can be an oasis in the desert, and a truly magnificent, magical gift.
For some people also a ‘grand escape’ into fantasies, illusions, and addictions that draw you in and suck your energy – VENUS retro will show us about that side too…

Before, during and after her Retro phase, VENUS on the Alchemy Point (partially in SCO, partially in LI) will have triple dates with

URANUS (Freedom) – in VENUS ruled TAU
SATURN (Commitment / Integrity), and the
Nodal Axis (Karmic Pathways, uhhhh, oh-so retro related too)!

  VENUS pre-retro Sept 14, retro Oct 31, post-retro Dec 1.
  Rather than choosing ‘splendid isolation’ to avoid hurt and pretending you’re cool and self sufficient, invite yourself or let life invite you into creativity and play. Loving your Inner Child tells you about your true needs. Be enchanted by the Magic!

 

Sooo, the strongest VENUS (in SCO) Alignment concentrations happen already next week, Sept 12 – 14 The MOON will be in SCO too then, uniting with VENUS on Sept 12 (once a month). Together they invite into sweet, intimate vibrations!
Then again round Halloween, and finally late Nov / early Dec.

The ‘NEW VENUS‘ – half-way through her retro phase, and in alignment with the SUN will be also in early SCORPIO, on Oct 26!

Now, what ARE we Building?

SATURN retro (since Apr 17) in CAP has shown us what has served its purpose, is outlived (been there, done that), and also where there isn’t responsibility and mature leadership in place, and old, RE-curring issues have been frustrating or outright abusive and disrespectful.

 

Still, everything is a teaching… how can we use even those SATURN retro lessons for the highest purpose, and what do they call forth in us?

All the ‘NO’s of the last months have been showing us what’s complete, and gave us RE-minders of what not to RE-vert back to / not create more karmic debt around.

SEPTEMBER is an important SATURN month with stationary / retro-to-direct SATURN – modelling and showing us what it takes to turn things around, and to turn the focus from problem / obstacle to solution.

It may well start with a commitment – SATURN is the ‘Ringed One’ after all.

What’s the commitment you’re making with yourself and others these days???

I know three couples who’re getting married mid / late September – and helped two of them with choosing a well matched wedding date.

Great examples for SATURN’s turnaround.

So many blessings extended for your committed partnership! ❤

Of course, SATURN direct is also much better for starting / building businesses, signing contracts, etc. Anything that’s meant to last and to be rock solid – it’s SATURN, and it’s CAP, after all.

However, I’d suggest to wait until the VIRGO New MOON on 09 / 09 to actually go forward with such projects.

 

SATURN with CHIRON and URANUS

The square from SATURN in early CAP to CHIRON retro in early AR (Healing the Old through Inner Medicine and Authenticity) is now integrating.

While the Earth trine from SATURN to URANUS retro in TAU is going strong in Sept. An energy that combines traditional quality and time proven values, teachings, and respect for the Elders with a renewing embodyment of The Law and Natural Laws.

MERCURY enters VIRGO (Sept 5 – 21): Harvest Time & Working out Practicalities

‘Golden Boy’ with wheat sheaves (very Mercury in Virgo) and torch (hmm, also Promethean), on top of the MB Legislature in Winnipeg.

After a super loooong phase in LEO (since June 28), incl. the retro phase (July 25 – Aug 18), MERCURY will bode the Lion farewell, and step on Sept 5 over the ‘Sphinx Point’ into VIRGO – one of its natural domains (next to GEMINI).

First things first: 
MERCURY in late LEO is now out of the post-retro ‘storm’, and post-retro shadow phase for MERCURY – since Sept 2.

A good phase, also in combination with the waning MOON, to process the whole LEO phase since July, when it comes to Self, Love, and: Self Love – and how Spirit / Consciousness and the Heart are the fuel, and in charge.

When MERCURY moves into VIRGO, on Sept 5 – while the SUN is also in VIRGO it’s an excellent phase (only until Sept 21) 

• to start a health / wellness routine  – would be great with the VIRGO New MOON on 09 / 09. 
•  for ‘Harvest Time’.
  What have you created in the Summer (or over longer time) that’s now ready to be ‘harvested’ (also apropos stationary SATURN – will go direct on Sept 6)?
  Do an inventory, sort things out…
  How can they be utilized, or brought to the market to serve others? 
• for working out practicalities, logistics, and yes: for making plans!
