* MERCURY, ruling Planet of GEM, is now coming into gears again (it’s been ever so Taurean- sloooow), i.o.w., comes out of the post-retro stationary ‘storm’ on May 24, while being still in TAU until June 11 (when the Messenger goes into GEM). The Warrior has been ‘in the House’, for better or worse….
We’ve come through quite a difficult early Spring phase, with MARS in its most challenging position, turning our energy inward, feeling-ward.
A lot could have been emotionally triggered, while all these events happened, just before and during MARS’s journey trough CANCER which started right at the beginning of ARIES (ruled by MARS):
The MOON rules CANCER – hence MARS in CANCER has a ‘special relationship’ to those New Moons / Full Moons (and Eclipses!) – while being trad. in its least comfortable sign – stirring up anger, and other aggressive emotions that can be in the way of our instinctual needs for feeling safe. The U.S. and Canada as CANCER countries by SUN sign (July 1 / 4) have been stimulated by MARS…
MARS in CANCER manifested in our personal / interpersonal assertions / conflicts / battles over needs / feelings / home / tribe / belonging.
Yet, it also evoked the motivation to be more pro-actively self-caring, and to step into action when it comes to protecting home, family / spirit family, and children. MARS in CANCER is a Mama Bear energy…
Lots of MOON / MARS energy. If your MOON or MARS are prominent in your chart, or you have ARIES or CANCER placements you can prob. attest to the stir-up effects. Did you use the energy to step into action – because you care?!
Thankfully, VENUS’s entry into CAN on May 7 softened the experience, inviting us to Loving Gentleness & Care.
WithMARS now in the solar sign LEO and VENUS in the lunar sign CAN – a beautiful Alchemy window is open – the GEMINI SUN likes that too… VENUS will be still in CANCER until June 5, and already slows down Her motion, before also entering LEO – where the Love Goddess will be for a looong time (until Oct 8) – and in her retro ‘underworld’ / renewal journey (July 22 – Sept 3)! – this Summer.

Play Time, Show Time, Heart Time!
In its 2-year cycle, MARS was the last time in LEO June 11 – July 29, 2021. What a difference (esp. the last) 2 years make!!! Time to bring in re-newed radiant vitality and radiance!
MARS’s shift into LEO gives a boost of strength and confidence. LEO seems like a fun and dynamic place for MARS to be in, and can nicely heat up the late Spring / early Summer with renewed passion. Caramba!
It brings out the macho or macha in us who wants to strut, play, and dance, and show his / her colours. An originally creative impulse is certainly fun, yet it can easily turn into ego gratification drives. Watch out for those. The ego can hijack everything, and is separative rather than unifying… usually unmasking itself when it’s about ‘me and them’.
MERCURY now out of retro helps keep those impulses in check…
Much better to ignite the HEART, show ourselves authentically, lovingly, creatively, playfully, generously, radiantly – and make THIS contagious.

PLUTO retro in very early AQ. And at MARS’s exit point (July 9, the day before MARS goes into VIRGO), a quincunx with PLUTO, then (from June 11 on) back end of CAP, forms!
PLUTO is MARS’s ‘higher octave’: Transpersonal, evolutionary power vs. personal willpower and action. MARS in LEO is sooo personal, and fights for personal sovereignty. While PLUTO in AQ / CAP is very transpersonal and systems & society (AQ) / structures & hierarchies (CAP) oriented. Two phases of MARS – PLUTO, end of May and early July, to integrate the spectrum of self and society.

Spring is in full bloom – it’s TAURUS Season What a miracle Life IS!And how fragile…
The fine-tuned balance & inter-relationship in bio systems, and in any living Being AS nature – what an expression of divine intelligence… not to be taken for granted. Finding balance and making new choices will be even a bigger deal, once the Nodal Axis goes into LIBRA – ARIES (July 13, 2023 – Jan 29 – 2025).
Unseasonably summery warmth has set in here on the West Coast, over the last week – which is pleasant, but the lack of weather / climate balance / stability is unsettling. The Earth and all Her life forms (associated with TAURUS) are doing their best to adapt and compensate for the exponential impact of humans – not so much by individuals (good old blame game) but mostly by big biz, esp. military-industrial interests pushing for greedy and ruthless abuse of precious resources while killing co-beings, and destroying ecosystems.
Insane geo engineering ‘solutions’ / cop-outs / cover-up experiments won’t do it. Once again, the proposed cure makes things worse. The impact on the biosphere of all this reckless ‘playing with fire’ is already backfiring on all life forms, incl. humanity.
The TAUREAN organic / natural world is in peril. URANUS, these years in TAU (2019 – 2026) points to that: Are enough Earthlings waking up to the unsustainable disruption of Nature as well as organic human nature – in sooo many ways!?
SO much TAUREAN energy is ON, these days, esp. since the BIG one, JUPITER, has juuust entered TAU too, on May 16 – and will be fully catalyzed via the late TAU New Moon.
So, let’s take a look at the
Cosmic Map of the end of TAURUS New Moon
…which will be exact at 8:53 am PDT on May 19. And glean insights from Her energy field.

Thx for patiently waiting for JUPITER to settle in the TAU ‘terrain’ – just in time before the NM. The TAU MOON welcomed JUPITER yesterday, May 17.
Good to slow down, enjoy, and also: to let the Eclipse Season (Apr 19 / 20 & May 5) energies settle.
The MOON is exalted in TAURUS – so nourishing and comforting.
End of TAU where the SUN is already, and the New Moon will be, has a TAU undertone, and the transition to GEM is ’round the corner’ (the Sabian Symbol below illustrates that too).
So it’s also about doing joyful & valuable work (that’s where the motto for this NM comes in…)
The union of North Node & MERCURY, just out of retro (in stationary ‘storm’ until May 24) and close to JUPITER in early TAU (with CAP undertone) also show us: Integrity & ‘quality food’ (and intake on all levels) matters. Standing our ground, embodying our values, being inspired and inspiring others for this – and expanding the scope, is important.
Esp. JUPITER and URANUS in TAU stand out of course, since they’ll be longer in TAU: JUPITER just entered TAU 2 days ago, and URANUS is now 2/3 through (2019 – 2026). Both are together (re)catalyzed by the New Moon.
And both planetary Archetypes are about Freedom.
For JUPITER, it’s rather a freedom to grow, expand, be in abundance & happy that way (re: TAU, think: big beautiful garden / jungle / paradise).
For URANUS it’s for starters a freedom from anything that might chain the Spirit (re: TAU, think: freedom from attachments – to stuff, habits, identity, unhealthy relationships you got stuck in), perhaps a freedom for… (re-inventing yourself). Ultimately, unconditional freedom (without a contrast / opposite) – true freedom.
On Apr 21, 2024, JUPITER & URANUS unite (at 22º TAU) – every 13 years. If you have any Astro features in that ‘terrain’ you’ll be in for a game changer (or many)…
LUNA activating Uranus: EmBodied Freedom & Light
The New Moon will pass URANUS just before newness. Not SO comfortable – but perhaps – for the sake of embodying new freedom & light.
The SUN this year passed URANUS on May 9 – to bring consciousness to the rather instinctive & body based sense of paradigm shifts into freedom. URANUS likes to surprise (even shock): Freedom is not what you thought it was… and there’s always another level of it.
All of you born early-to-mid May prob. know what I’m talking about.
URANUS in its journey through TAU (2018/19 – 2026) is now 2/3 into it (currently at 19º30′). Mid-TAU (2020 – 2023) is doubly-TAU(!), very earthy – and the Uranian impact is even stronger, esp. since URANUS is traditionally ‘in Fall’ there – its ‘least favoured’ Zodiac energy:
Which has already manifested on the material plane through disruption of Nature, food, of our bodies, of values, of the economy / business, wake-up calls out of our comfort zones. Yet it also calls for Awakening to EmBody Freedom & a Renaissance of Earth Consciousness.Wake Up Earthlings!
In 2020, we had an Earth Day NM in TAU with URANUS, on Apr 22(!). What an initiation (among other cosmic catalysts) to a phase of two unpredictable inconsistent / destabilizing URANIAN years for all these TAU factors (Nature, food, bodies, values, economy, businesses, esp. restaurants & retail)! Many of these factors have not recovered since.
We’ve been in for all kinds of shocks & surprises & paradigm shifts, with Uranus the disruptor / liberator / Awakener Archetype. No boredom. No status quo. No stability / security. No business as usual.
Yet, a Point of No Return can turn into a liberating Turning Point…

Tomorrow’s New Moon end of TAU catalyzes URANUS which is sandwiched between the early TAU ‘cluster’ and the NM (see chart).
Lunawill connect with URANUS this eve, in Her dark-before-New phase.
* How can we find inner stability, in the constant shifts that take us out of our comfort zone?
* Conversely: how can we even pro-actively seek the edge rather than the comfort trap?
* Can we sloooww down and listen with all our senses, while things are whirling?
* What does our EarthBody call us to – when we’re in full Presence?

The NM activates the ‘Voice Point’ cusp from TAU to GEM:

Let’s ground & emBody the Light, and unconditional Freedom.
Being in Nature, and in our True Nature brings shifts in Consciousness.
It was the first Planet (besides MERCURY, on Apr 21) that turned retro, after a long-ish No-Retro phase since mid-Jan where outer events rolled have out fast & furiously – and have gained a life of their own.
The CAP – AQ cusp gets activated by PLUTO these years (2022 – 24) in the CAP-to-AQ transition. The interface of hierarchies, structures, governments, history (CAP), and people, systems, future (AQ).
PLUTO will re-enter CAP on June 11 for the rest of the year (until Jan 20, 2024). Time to integrate, process, and transform / evolve, esp. when it comes to Power (PLUTO), combined with responsibility, authority, laws, and established structures (CAP).
PLUTO end of CAP was hugely ON in 2020, compliments the SATURN – PLUTO conj. on Jan 12, and the triple JUPITER – PLUTO conjunction then. What a Turning Point year! Hindsight is 20:20.
The Old Establishment & Empire & ‘Operating Systems’ expire as they’ve shown their fear based power / control shadow (evolutionary PLUTO in CAP), while the new systems can be dehumanizing (shadow of AQ). AI can’t replace Nature’s intelligence and soulful life.
With PLUTO retro now (May 1 – Oct 10), it’s time to roll back on giving Power away / delegating / projecting it to / letting it be hijacked by systems (AQ) that are built by the ‘ones in charge’ (CAP). And to find true Soul Power (PLUTO) from within, and emBody Freedom (AQ / URANUS in TAU), based on Natural Law (CAP).
The CAP – AQ cusp is the ‘Prometheus’ or ‘Light Leader’ Point:
PLUTO on this cusp: Our shared intrinsic Power is our Freedom. Our shared intrinsic Freedom is our Power.
The cuspy T-square
…can’t be ignored (see chart) – and is certainly being felt in the Astro~sphere: This ‘high pressure system’ is building up once MARS enters LEO (May 20), opposes PLUTO retro in early AQ, and JUPITER, North Node, and MERCURY in early TAU are in square with both.
The T-square culminates May 20 – 22, and is in effect since JUPITER entered TAU (May 16) until end of May.
The polarity between MARS, soon confidently-passionately-roaringly in early LEO, w. ARIES undertone(a much better expression for the Warrior Archetype than in soft & gentle CAN), and powerful, yet retreating PLUTOretro in early AQ, w. LIBRA undertone(Power over / to / IN the People) needs to find an outlet in early TAU, w. CAP undertone (also a reflection on PLUTO in CAP).
‘Sitting’ in our integrity, natural law, honouring and being in / as Nature makes us naturally passionate to connect with other light- and like-spirited humans whom we co-create New Earth Consciousness with.
Being As-Nature
The New MOON in TAURUS ‘ahead of’ URANUS, with JUPITER having just entered TAU also reads as:
The Earth doesn’t belong to us. We belong to the Earth.*
Earth is our Mother. We are of the Earth.
We are Children of the Earth, and inhabit an EarthBody. Let’s truly treat the Earth and our Body as our Home that we love and care for (rather than an exploitation ground).
*…other than the distorted dehumanizing / disrespectful expression you’ve prob. all read / heard by now: “You own nothing, and you’ll be happy”. A low vibe expression of URANUS in TAU – not from the ground-up / inside-out, but ‘ordained’ from the top down. The ‘cure’ / suggested ‘solution’ doesn’t treat the issue but makes things worse – it doesn’t come from an organic, soulful place. Just mentioning it for contrast. Let’s not give this ‘program’ / ‘spell’ any more energy. And be unconditionally free & happy.

…and will be super catalyzed by the TAU New Moon, on May May 19. What a TAUREAN month we’re in (we feel it, and you can see it in the chart below)! Peaking these days – May 17 – 19, the SUN, MOON, MERCURY (just out of retro, yet still in post-retro ‘storm’), the North Node, URANUS, and now also JUPITER are in TAU!

2020 was a very CAP (SATURN – PLUTO – JUPITER). All about governments, authorities, major endeavours & impacts, rules, restrictions, fear.
2021 was so AQ (SATURN & JUPITER, plus SATURN in AQ triple-squaring URANUS (ruler of AQ) in TAU. Systems, science, humanity, community, social environment, our shared future.
2022 was very PISCEAN (JUPITER united with NEPTUNE – 1st time since 1856 – on Apr 12, and they were again close throughout Nov), in transition to ARIES (JUPITER ‘tried on’ early AR May 10 – Oct 27). In general, it was quite a transitional year. Chaos / domino effects, and a wave of war, pulling the world in. JUPITER crossed the ‘Settling Point’ from ARIES to TAURUS yesterday May 16 at 10:30 am PDT.
The end-of-TAU New Moon on May 19 will catalyze JUPITER’s entry into TAU more fully.
We’re in a super Taurean (JUPITER, NN, MERCURY stat., URANUS, and the SUN) phase now – only topped by the end-of-TAU New Moon in May 19.
JUPITER freshly in TAU immediately squared PLUTO retro in early AQ. Worth re-viewing what came up mentally / in communication / via ‘random’ information in this period. It can be a pre-cursor for more understanding, growth, and outgrowing to be available when JUPITER visits this terrain – 3 times, forward, backward, forward. Of course, esp. if you have your SUN, MOON, AC, Planets, or even JUPITER in that cosmic ‘region’.

What a symbol for the beginning of the JUPITER retro phase – not far from the then also ‘stormy’ URANUS (going retro on Aug 28)! Surprising, and unpredictable circumstances can challenge us to not get ‘blown over’ by adversity but to retain inner stability – not in stubborn and inflexible, but in mature & conscious ways, based on strong values (TAU).

Now, that’s an interesting symbol – and can easily be interpreted in direct response to the symbol for the start of JUPITER’s retro journey – which deals with the individual’s character demonstrated during crises and adversity.
To face and overcome the obstacles presented at this phase of human evolution, collaboration is needed, to ‘build bridges’ over chasms of polarization in humanity – which often have to do with Taurean ‘territorial claims’.
And yes, we can all contribute to this ‘grand oeuvre’ of this time. A positive attitude (JUPITER) can go a long way and be the foundation for manifestation (TAU) of the vision (JUPITER).

With VENUS entering CANCERwe can soften, show our love through gentleness and care, and, if our feelings change like the tides, dance with it.
Literally being by the water and IN the water is a big draw now, and can help ‘smooth’ us out and RELAX, after sooo much swirling energy, with VENUS in GEMINI, squaring NEPTUNE in PI, buzzing around, interested in / attracted to sooo many things…
Maybe tooo many, rendering us overwhelmed & confused – one way of experiencing the VENUS square NEPTUNE in PI – (culminated on May 4, just before the Eclipse FM).

What a Time we live in! Change is the only certain – has always been… And nowadays ever more ‘in our face’. Things seem so out of control…
How can we be empowered and liberated, in – and through! – this challenging & changeful Time? Essential themes that this Eclipse Season (Hybrid TSE / ‘Ring of Fire’ ASE end of AR on Apr 19 / 20 in square w. PLUTO, and this PLE in SCO – TAU on May 5) brings out, from the back-/ under-ground, and into the light.
Eclipses themselves carry the Medicine of showing Shadow, and bringing the Light back, after an occultation ‘re-set’.
Let’s be easy and gentle in the intensity of it all, nurture & nourish what wants to be revealed, so that old sticky attachment / resistance issues & emotional pain points can move, and be set FREE!
Eclipses & the Lunar Nodes
We’re at the height of the first Eclipse season of 2023. This year’s first pair of Spring Eclipses (they always come in pairs) started with the Hybrid TSE / ‘Ring of Fire’ ASE end of AR on Apr 19 / 20 in square w. PLUTO, followed by this Wesak Moon PLE in mid-SCO – TAU, on May 5).
The Fall Eclipse season will peak on Oct 14 (American ASE / ‘Release Eclipse’ in LIBRA) / Oct 28 (PLE / ‘Seed Eclipse’ in TAU – SCO).
Eclipses are linked to the Lunar Nodal Axis. This Apr / May Eclipse season is the last one with the Lunar Nodes in SCO (SN = South Node) – TAU (NN = North Node), Dec 23, 2021. This Nodal / karmic / evolutionary dynamic extends until July 13, 2023. Big Time Purge. Back to Nature & to our Senses. EmBodying Freedom.
Not only do the Eclipses bring out these themes that are SO on now, for evolution (rather than devolution), but also (can’t miss it) for revolution, viaURANUS in TAU, close to the SUN & MERCURY retro (see chart below).
The PLE in SCO opposite URANUS / NN / SUN and M-r (until May 14) all in TAU triggers emotionally things that can be pre-cursors for what’s to come. Relating to hidden, private, secret, sexual (trans debate!), power, and control issues, and what needs to come out into the open about those.

It really feels like a massive Birthing & Purging Process. The cosmic energies of & around the Eclipse confirm this.

Such an intense polarity of the MOON in herdeepest – yet most potent – position of SCO, facing LOTS of planetary action in the field on the other side (of the Earth, during the Eclipse), esp. mid-AR to mid-TAU (4 Planets, the SUN, and the NN, see below in the Birth-ing chart)!
Plus, URANUS is also in the picture. A very URANian (exciting, electric, shocking, unpredictable, wake-up calls evoking, liberating) phase we’re in.

We (men, women, children) need to reconnect with our intrinsic & instinctive organic power!
The Yin Energy meets the Yang Energy in equality, and with her own intrinsic strength.
As an Eclipse (exact FM alignment of Moon – Earth – Sun), She’s a super charged & super charging & super changing Full Moon:
SO much is coming to fruition & harvest that’s now ripe for birthing!
SO much release of darkness, stuckness, disempowered situations!
SO much birthing out of the Old Matrix where fear & control rule, and into the New & yet unknown World.
A ‘Release Eclipse’ she is – aligned with the Lunar SN. Calling us to bring the shadow to light – for it to be released. Also supported / intensified via PLUTO, ruler of SCO, having just turned retro – a stationary focal point, currently. PLUTO is freshly in AQ, ruled by URANUS – which is also super involved in the Eclipse ‘happenings’.
Rather than dwelling on stuff / getting sucked into the ‘dark zone’ again, it’s better to do ‘interventions’ & experiments, by shifting habits, and getting out of the uncomfortable ‘comfort zone’. What brings more embodied Joy & Freedom??? URANUS in TAU, opp. the Eclipse helps with this.

TAURUS Themes are strong now
Fixed, earthy TAURUS (ruled by VENUS) is all about embodiment, enjoyment of Life-on-Earth, sensuality, food, assimilation, and gathering of value. A substance building energy.
Immersed in the realm of TAURUS, like in the full bloom of Spring, we celebrate the physical senses, comfort & pleasure, everything that creates security and grounding, and grows over time. Taurean energy takes roots, builds, cultivates, and conserves, like a gardener, farmer, and good custodian of the Earth. TAU likes to attract what’s pleasant, to experience it via the senses, to eat, assimilate, gather & accumulate, to settle and to claim ownership & territory. TAU slows down, after the fast and furious ARIES energy, and favours predictability and patience; therefore habits and routines are formed.
The Taurean orientation is very life affirming, yet can obviously lead to attachment to the known and comfortable, to the material & worldly plane in general, and to physical satisfaction, yet also hoarding, and greed. TAU has a strong resistance to change and to pain.
Presently, there’s a LOT going on in TAURUS, via: URANUS (since 2019), the North Node (since Dec 23, 2021, until July 13, 2023), the SUN (seasonally, until May 21), MERCURY (until June 11) now retro (Apr 21 – May 14), and also soon JUPITER (May 16, 2023 – May 26, 2024). What a TAUREAN energy field – polarized by the SCO SuperMoon!
Being calm, conscious, and creative – rather than just complacent / habitual, as well as standing our ground & communicating common sense (without getting stubborn and attached to a mind-set) are themes of SUN / MERCURY retro in TAU.
PLUTO freshly in AQ, squared by JUPITER, newly in TAU, on May 17: No point getting used to new ‘normalized AI’ / transhumanism take-over.We Humans are organic, nature-ALL Earth Beings (TAU).
URANUSthe shaker-upper / waker-upper, now (2019 – 2026) in TAU has been pointing to disruption of Nature, of the economy / the monetary system, of the comfortable, habitual consumer culture, and of our organic ways of being in physical contact w. each other.
Yet, URANUS help us to awaken from ‘convenience’ (incl. ‘convenient paradigms’) and to be more unconditionally free.

In 2020, I was wondering how the ‘6 ft apart’ physical (TAU) tactile / sense free distanceaffects our auric / Heart Chakra energy exchanges.
This Heart Math Institute image shows the electromagnetic (URANUS) energy field of the Heart – extending as a ‘doughnut like’ Torus shape (not to be mixed up with TAURUS – but hey, maybe there IS a connection…).

SCO (ruled by PLUTO) carries Transformation Medicine
The fixed deep water (like a lake or pond) sign SCO,in contrast to the ‘above ground’ green & growing Taurean world, brings up emotionally intense, ‘ugly’, uncomfortable, and painful places in the ‘muck’ where hidden, and often covered or repressed emotional material sits.
Just as the leaves rot and go beneath the earth in late Oct – late Nov, the Scorpionic energy takes us to the ‘grand mystery’ of death & rebirth, and to processes that have nowhere to go but down & through, for alchemical processes to happen.
SCO penetrates the underground / underworld / underbelly, which can be a painful process (TAU – SCO also represent the pleasure – pain, and life – death axis). This is where transformational ‘digestion’ of what’s already dead happens, so that it can be purged and eliminated.
Our very ‘human humus’ and shadow can’t be just ‘gotten rid of,’ or ‘hidden away’. It needs to be processed to become a composting ‘fertilizer’ for renewal – the Alchemy of Life.
SCORPIO is for the MOON the most ‘challenging’ sign. While LUNA is considered ‘exalted’ in TAU, it’s trad. ‘in fall’ in SCO – since:
The MOON represents emotions, our instinctual mind (in a broad sense of body-mind, feeling-mind), and our needs and habits which by nature long for nourishment and sustenance.
Taurean energy provides such sustaining delivery & assimilation – intake through feeding & reliable presence… Whereas SCOrepresents necessary detoxifying elimination, often through painful processes. That’s not what our Lunar side (representing also our Inner Child) is most comfortable with… deep & difficult emotions come up.

Under a SCO MOON (whether we’re born with it, have it by astrological Progression for 2½ years every 29 years, or whether the MOON in SCO for 2½ days per month affects us), we’re instinctively sensitized towards the need to purge what’s toxic & outlived, what controls us, and doesn’t allow us to be free, in a deeper sense.
The process calls us to go into the ‘mouth of the monster’ and through its bowels even, while our head and ego might severely protest and resist. A SCO MOON experience can lead us to thedeepest abyss of our inner worlds, yet is an opportunity to take us through it, and be regenerated and transformed through the process.
Not ‘comfortable’ or ‘easy’ but so spiritually rewarding, and blessed by the Wesak Moon.

A LOT can shift and move quite suddenly and surprisingly, via the URANian involvement. Freedom comes in so many ways.
Wake-up calls from Mother Earth are striking. Let’s get out of our habitual comfort zone, and cut the energetic umbilical chord to an old outdated and exhausted model.
Balance is a key theme for the Eclipse opposition. A FM is the ‘Mother of Oppositions’, calling for Balance & Integration, in fairness, justice, and Right Relationship.
The essence & incentive of TAU (where the NN is now) is to be an emBodiment of Nature, to live life joyously, and in accordance with the Earth and our Earth Body.
Shadow expressions of SCO (current SN) are manipulation, power games, destruction, black magic, self-defeating psychology– to be revealed & released.

* Not to give power away / hide out with our Power / keep it hidden from ourselves.

What fascinating combination of symbols – At the very centre of the SCO – TAU axis. How might they be interpreted, in the context of the PLE / Wesak Moon?
So cool that the FM will be on 05/05, and the SCORPIO 15° with its “5 mounds of sand” emphasizes the “Number 5 symbolizing mind in its most creative and penetrating aspect”.
Plus the pentagram / five-pointed star.
Lots of ‘5’s here – which may also indicate, an opening to the ‘5th Dimension’ is available – which of course requires a Scorpionic transformation of consciousness – out of 3-D / 4-D (incl. time, ruled by CAP) consciousness. Remember my statement above, re: “Density issues” (= dimensionality)?
And certainly also implying a demonstration of “CHARACTER under adverse circumstances.” (TAURUS 15°).
Crises of consciousness are what Eclipses bring up – a gift in disguise, since emotional intensity (esp. with the SCO FM) present. Powerful stuff to work with – that’s otherwise ‘under the radar’ / part of the ‘comfort zone’.

In Buddhist cultures, the Full Moon in May traditionally marks the Wesak Moon, which falls this year on May 5, as the PLE – quite rare.
The Wesak Moon is celebrated by the Buddhist World Sangha (community), honouring the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Gautama Siddhartha, the Buddha, who walked the Earth more than 2500 years ago, and set an example for the Living Buddha in all of us.
Only every 9 years does the Scorpionic Wesak Moon show up as a Lunar Eclipse (alternating as ‘Seed Eclipse’ and ‘Release Eclipse’ – as this time).
The SCO MOON – TAU SUN polarity that aligns astrologically with the Wesak Moon themes also connects with essential Buddhist teachings.
So many provoking and out-of-control situations are up… and the deep emotions they evoke can pull us into a pain-body loop. Staying with what-IS, being calm (TAU) & conscious (SUN), holding space for what’s going on deeply-emotionally (MOON) can bring us to the core (SCO) of the matter (TAU), and is being transformed (SCO) in this cauldron.
Sitting in the Buddha Heart Hub, with wisdom and compassion, in the Wheel of Life, saves the day and is the way / the pathless path.
PLUTO, ruler of SCO, and ‘undertaker’ and archaeologist Archetype, helps unearth our core essence & Soul Power.
PLUTO now at the beginning of AQ (with LIBRA undertone) prescribes / can bring out (while also showing extremes in that regard: The Power of our shared genuine Humanity, and World Community – also an antidote to isolation & alienation (shadow of AQ).
An essential question in Buddhist teachings: Why do we humans suffer / are we dissatisfied / discontent (‘dukkha’)?
It’s simple and ‘revolutionarily’ obvious to see it this way (why do we forget?!): Because of our attachments to what we desire, and their frustration – not getting what we want, and not being able (or: willing!) to get rid of the unwanted and painful. Which is… very TAU – SCO!
Whoaaa – has that ever been intensely playing out in these times, and even: last week!
What a contrast! Taurean Life-in-Spring, enjoyment, physical / material pleasure, eating, embodying, gaining, gathering, growing, having… And Scorpionic pain, death, loss, grief and the whole spectrum of emotional depth – which, if it doesn’t crush us, can bring us to the essence of where real Power within sits, and change us in our evolution, personally & collectively.
What does the Buddha say to this essential polarity in life?
There’s a difference between physical / emotional pain, and the human suffering coming from it.
Suffering – even though it may feel so appropriate and legit – has to do with the attachmentto the desire for what we want, and to the desire of getting rid of the unwanted and painful. It comes up in the ‘sticky’ fixed signs TAU – SCO, LEO (LILITH, in T-square w. the Eclipse) and AQ (PLUTO).
The Buddhists would suggest two ‘ways out’ of suffering:
* To be aware that nothing really lasts forever. Everything that has manifested is impermanent. This world of phenomena is in constant flux and change (SATURN & NEPTUNE in PI show us a lot about this too…). Realizing this, we better surf the ‘waves of change’, and become free from wanting it ‘our way’.
* To walk the ‘Middle Path’, a.k.a. to practice the Noble 8-fold Path (right speech, right livelihood, right action, etc.) whichbrings intrinsic happiness.
Awakening, and emBodying Freedom(URANUS, now also in TAU, 2018/19 – 2026 stirs it up!) is buddha-ful. Awakener URANUS is mega activated by the SUN in the Full Moon (the alignment will be exact on May 9)! Bright – clear – conscious – liberated – alive energyis available, on the other side of the SCO process…
I’ve been listening to Eckhart Tolle’s audio book (read by him) A New Earth, and find it so helpful / paradigm shifting / enlightening. It’s from 2005 – and timelessly and timely relevant, esp. the central piece about the ‘Pain Body’, and how to become free from it.
May the season of the Buddha’s Wesak Moon PLE bring golden opportunities ‘in the dark’, for realization & practice that set us FREE!

The SCO / TAU Wesak Full Moon is a fully solar illumined (and most potent) SCORPIO MOON that reveals our deepest needs for transformation.
With our conscious Self (the SUN), we have to patiently stay & ‘sit with’ (TAU) what comes up from the depth, for the processing (SCO).

In Buddhist tradition, the image of the peaceful Buddha floating on a (Taurean) Lotus flower that blossoms so purely & beautifully while rooted in the (Scorpionic) mud swamp, represents the enlightened quality, rooted in real-life human suffering, and evoking compassion.
* Where do your swampy roots show up, these days?
* Can you ‘sit’ with it all, open to the light of consciousness?
* Can you dwell in the Buddha hub of calm – within the tension between enjoyment and pain?
* Hold (fixed energy of SCO – TAU) as much spiritual energy as possible. And allow yourself to be held by it.
The Wesak Full Moon is a magnificent divine and meditative moment-in-time, when transformation (SCO) can be anchored (TAU).
Our attachment to desires and longing for what we want and don’t have, or ‘even’ to pain / suffering / complaining / to feeding those ‘hungry ghosts’ (TAU – SCO) that show up in obvious or subtle personal and collective / cultural addictions and compulsions (more consumption, information, work, entertainment, F.O.M.O., nothing’s ever enough, being pulled into the dark…) can be really UP and fully-ON, in these times.
Can you put these manifestationsof attachments into the bonfire of the Soul (SCO) so that the deep Alchemy can do its job?! Natural empowerment via intrinsic Soul connection comes from there. Supported by PLUTO having turned from direct-forward to retro on May 1: Finding Power within, and via intrinsic transformation.
Truth on all levels is being revealed through the process. Esp. as the MOON will move from SCO over the ‘Phoenix Point’ into SAG, on May 6 (exact at 1:04 pm PDT). The days after the Wesak Moon are considered ‘Days of Distribution’ of the Buddha Blessings – very apropos SAG MOON also.
The essence of timeless Tao Wisdom: Dynamic & interwoven Yin-Yang Balance
The YIN-YANG is a perfect symbol for balancing the Yin / Lunar and Yang / Solar influences in us, under each Full Moon. Especially under this astrologically potent (SCO – TAU PLE) Wesak Moon.
As above so below and within…. We ARE the field, and the catalysts for evolution & liberation…

…it’s good to sit a la TAU with what’s here-now, enJoy Life with all its blossoming expressions – without getting attached. As the smiling Buddha would.
URANUS, now in TAURUS – and super activated by the SUN & M-r & NN – brings: The wake-up call to EmBody unconditional Freedom.
How can we be free from what’s been stifling & stuck, from old fears that have proven redundant (many do), and the alike? And / or we might be drawn to new freedom for…
Yet: Real Freedom is unconditional Freedom. Or, as the spiritual teacher J. Krishnamurti (his Taurean human birthday was on May 12) would point out brilliantly: It’s about Freedom without an opposite (as in: from / for), since otherwise it pretends to be Freedom but isn’t the real deal.
Similarly, again quoting K., and inquiring myself: What is Love that has no opposite?
That takes us full circle. A good place to hand it over to the Wesak Moon, and Her infusion…

Deep dark PLUTO is stationary now, since it went retro on May 1 – at 00°22′ AQ (until Oct 10). That’s the furthest it goes into AQ this year – more to come in 2024… It’s not done yet with CAP, and will re-enter it in retro from June 11 on – until Jan 20, 2024.
Whoaaa – PLUTO’s Turnaround comes right in the middle of Eclipse Season:
The mid-SCO – mid-TAU Full Moon / Penumbral Lunar Eclipse on May 5 is ruled by PLUTO, and catalyzes URANUS in TAU next to the SUN / MERCURY retro. Purging of intensely felt deep seated emotions and of old mind forms brings Freedom.Time for a Ceremony.
If you have anything on or round 0 – 1° AQ (or TAU, LEO, SCO) you probably feel the intensity and pressure.
A pressurethat helps us transform from the inside-out.
Rather than banging our heads against a wall / mountain of density without really being able to – or needing! – to change those external things.
At least not ‘the hard way’, by working with resistance (theirs, yours), or pushing against what ‘doesn’t work’ in the system (AQ) and we seem to be out of control about.
Early AQ has a LIBRA undertone, and sure enough, we’re dealing with issues of fairness, balance, right relationship, and justice, in a social context. Long time built-up issues are now coming to the surface – to prompt a purge and transformation / evolution of the whole paradigm.
“You can’t solve a problem from the consciousness / dimension where it originated.” To let go, we have to go to another level of experience (fine line with spiritual bypassing though…).
Have you been dealing with / feeling trapped in systemic issues? I.o.w., come up against issues that are really ‘heavy’, ‘old’ and ‘thick’ (not much breathing space / openness / flexibility)? Feeling intensely affected by certain things a while ago, waking up some morning, I realized “these are density problems”, andsomething major shifted. We don’t need to go into ‘social relationship’ (AQ) with these issues, take on those challenges or be frustrated and burdened by them (late CAP – where PLUTO goes back to, in the Summer / Fall).

Whoaaa – what a blatantly colonial-missionary coloured symbol! Showing the old and clearly outdated paradigm, in the name of a ‘great vision’ / ‘civilizing power’ – a mission to ‘organize’ the ‘primitive’.
SO apropos ‘Old Empires’, their global extension and distribution of influence, and the function of the missioning churches. Not much respect for ancient traditions and mundane & spiritual ways of life, in the colonized land. Abuse of people, in the name of ‘conversion’ – CAP shadow. Not much equality of free humans, in collaboration – AQ ideal.
De-colonizing efforts (PLUTO retro) are under way currently. Yet, there’s still so much unquestioned (conditioned and historically anchored) attitude in the mentality. Reconciliation can’t be ‘manufactured’ / shortcut.
Plus, there’s neo-colonialism lurking everywhere. The spirit is well and alive. Driven by greed. Esp. when it comes to the pervasive real estate ‘gold rush’ at the expense of people and cultures being pushed out of their environment and social cohesion. The mission is quite clear, it’s about maximization of profit. Let alone the blatant evidence that there’s more money than taste / style in the picture.
Yet also by neo-globalist missions which, in the name of urgency & importance of “joining forces to collaborate on critical issues” set out to amalgamate and ‘equalize’ countries and people with their rich and diverse culture, while introducing a technocratic, dehumanizing system. A la the program(ming): “We need a ‘Great Reset’!”
I.o.w., don’t push your ‘ideals’ and ‘visions’ on everyone whose world you invade, and force them to change! Shadow of PLUTO on the CAP – AQ cusp (2023 / 24). Ideals and visions need to be freely negotiated and shared (AQ essence).
PLUTO retro will re-enter CAP on June 11.
True leadership requires integrity – essential (PLUTO) to CAP. Corruption, abuse of power and authority, and disrespect of Humans and Nature Beings whom the leader serves (late CAP – VIR undertone) are shadow expressions that come up now for full revelation and purging. So that we can go forward into a better future for Humanity – as the AQ Age is setting in.
And hey – we’re the ones we’ve been looking for and looking up to.
And, the way how we respond to ‘what’s going on in the world’ has likely to do with our own shadow too. Well worth digging and ‘seeing through’.
Time to realize from within that we can ‘repurpose’ situations (esp. those challenging ones that we suffer, resist, and judge) by connecting with our spiritual core (PLUTO retro). Which brings us to a higher vibration, as we surrender to the Higher Order of the Universe that ‘uses’ / positions us, for a higher purpose.
Old – perhaps karmic – patterns, conditioning and internalized experiences come up again…
So that we can realize and transform them, and regenerate from within.
