Capricorn the Mythological Sea Goat
Big & important news – which you probably already anticipate:
JUPITER will move over the ‘Integrity Point’ cusp from SAG to CAPRICORN on Dec 2, to magnify the Zodiac energy of the fish tailed Goat for a year and a bit (until Dec 19, 2020).
What does that en-tail?
Well, as per JUPITER (and other V.I.P.’s – very important Planets – of 2020), a LOT.
Yet, CAP likes things simple & straightforward.
So here’s the general – and stunning – gist of the time line (CAP loves timing).
Upfront, I dare to prognosticate:
2020 will be a Historic Year.
There are just TOO many significant astrological markers / alignments to ignore:
JUPITER, SATURN, and PLUTO – all 3 in CAP – will be the main activating Planetary Archetypes (PA’s) in 2020, indicating societal-collective closures, shifts, and new beginnings with the evolution that’s already going on.
Yes, CAP even rules the factor / dimension of Time itself.
An Era is decaying, ending, collapsing (SATURN – PLUTO), to make room (JUPITER) for a new one.
As both JUPITER & SATURN will enter AQ and meet right at the first degree (0º28′) AQ in their ‘Great Conjunction’ (every 20 years) on Winter Solstice(!) 2020, the foundation for the AQ era of Collaboration in Community can be set.
Well – that’s the bright side / if all goes well. It can also turn into a system-over-people world.
Fair warning, says CAP. So that we heed the dangers, and live the energies from a higher vibe.
The JUPITER – SATURN – PLUTO alignments come in 4 steps,
starting already with the biggest and rarest one:
- JAN 12
The (much anticipated) SATURN – PLUTO conjunction (every 37 – 38 years, last time 1982/3) at the end of CAP.
The dying shadow of the Old and unsustainable control structures / the evidence of what’s essentially destructive. The Old Empire expires. Its shadow is blatantly evident by now.
Simultaneously, the seeds for rebuilding from Integrity & Soul Purpose are being planted.
NO Planets retro by then. Things can move forward / along quite swiftly.

- APR 4 (I) – again JUNE 29 (II) and NOV 12 (III)
The triple JUPITER – PLUTO conjunction (every 13 years) at the end of CAP.

Abuse of power / corruption / destructiveness of the Old Model can also become super obvious, to give even more motivation to live up to the new and simple vision.

- MARCH 21 – JULY 1
SATURN does a first ‘test run’ in AQ which it eventually enters (after essentially 3 years in its own sign CAP) on Dec 16, 2020 for the following 2 1/2 years.
SATURN on the CAP – AQ cusp in 2020 brings Responsibility of / in Society / Humanity (beyond the current SATURN-in-CAP notion to bring out our best, and build authority and self responsibility rather than depending on being governed by hierarchical & organizational structures of authority).
It’ll be all about (next level) Collaboration in Community and Networks / Systems. Perhaps not easy but an important priority (SATURN).
Yep, of course SATURN into AQ 2020 shall be a special feature too, in due time 🙂
- DEC 17 – 21
Another hugely important phase in 2020:
JUPITER enters AQ and almost immediately meets with SATURN – on Winter Solstice!
A 20-year socio-political-economical cycle (since May 2000 when they met in TAU) ends, and a new one starts on the 1st degree of AQ: Networks of Community / Humanity Collaboration.
It really IS rare to see so many significant alignments of slow moving Planets all in one sign (CAP), and all in one year.
JUPITER will be the magnifyer / amplifyer.
U.S. Election Year with JUPITER / PLUTO in CAP
It will be interesting (to put it mildly) to see how the Historic Year with so much CAP will be reflected in the U.S. elections on Nov 3, 2020 and the build-up year.
It could look like more conservatism IF people buy into fear / control / law & order, and look for a ‘strong leader’ (all rather low vibes / projections of JUP in CAP).
Yet the elections happen just before the 3rd of 3 JUPITER – PLUTO alignments of the year (on Nov 12) – Power-to-Change (PLUTO) and Integrity are prone to come into the picture Big Time (JUPITER).
At the end of JUPITER / SATURN in CAP it becomes obvious where too much CAP style government needs to end.
The ‘Great Conjunction’ of JU-SAT on Dec 21 closes a 20-year socio-economic cycle that started in 2000 in TAU. Next year, it’ll fall on the first degree of AQ – paradigm shifts and a new era are in the making…
The U.S. are also gearing up to have their first PLUTO Return in history!
On July 4, 1776, PLUTO was at 27º 33′ CAP where it’ll be again for the first time since (in its 248-year cycle!) 2021 – 2023, before entering AQ in Jan 2024.
A deep historic change from the inside-out – back to the core essentials of the American Constitution? The American Evolution?!
JUPITER’s Move over the Integrity Point
Dec 2 is the Day:
JUPITER makes its yearly shift from one Zodiac energy to the next.

Coming out of SAG (which JUPITER is associated with and where it’s been offering lifting, shifting, elevating, liberating perspectives since Nov 8, 2018) seems to be somewhat a hard act to follow.
Yet a necessary & natural next level.
JUPITER in CAP – after JUPITER in SAG
While JUPITER is at Home in SAG where it ends its Journey in these days, it is traditionally ‘in Fall’ (most challenged) in CAP.
Without going into black-and-white / good-and-bad polarities / judgment (which in itself could be one of the issues of JUPITER in CAP, ha-ha), suffice to say, CAP isn’t per se a fun energy, rather hard working, pragmatic, persevering, and / or: Keeping things simple – so that there’s less to take on and worry about.
Reminds me of ZEN – a JUPITER-in-CAP Way of Being, if you will.
Before, during, and after enlightenment, chop wood and carry water.
When JUPITER freshly in CAP almost immediately (on Dec 8) squares CHIRON in ARIES, the message is:
Start simple. And simply get started.
Could be a bumper sticker / fridge magnet.
Well, let’s honour the JUPITER in SAG year before the transition happens!
I hope like myself, you had an overall uplifting year of seeing, of finding your path and your truth, and a year full of reasons to be grateful for.
Even though, some of the experiences and seeing were linked with perhaps hard, and always grounding lessons & processes a la SATURN & PLUTO, both presently in CAP (esp. in Sept. / early Oct when stationary SATURN & PLUTO in CAP were squared by LIBRA Planets) – which helped restrain and channel the otherwise overly optimistic, idealistic, exuberant, and even excessive ‘anything goes’ / ‘it’s all good’ energy of JUPITER in SAG.
Overall, hope you can attest: There have been many occasions to appreciate the blessings and gifts (even and esp. the ones in disguise – seen with higher JUPITERian perspective)!
Both Planets JUPITER & SATURN in their respectively ruled signs in 2019, plus NEPTUNE in its ruled PISCES, plus these three Planetary Archetypes dancing with each other in triple alignments gave the year an overall theme of Spiritual Teachings, Gifts and Blessings – often via letting go.
Trust the Journey, trust in God, yet: tie up your Camel 🙂
Lots of epic Journeys I’ve been traveling on this year, outer and inner, and many wishes have been fulfilled, under JUPITER in SAG. Lots of new and shifted perspectives were given too.
I’m ever so grateful for the gifts and opportunities, for amazing reunions and encounters, for having been shown – and walked – my truth and freedom, and for feeling inspired, guided and protected.
Appreciating & honouring the gifts and blessings is the first part of the Solstice-y transition of JUPITER from SAG to CAP.

Welcome to the CAP Lands!
The SAG – CAP cusp that JUPITER will cross is the Winter Solstice Point.
Which I also call the Integrity Point.
Rock-solid as a Mountain.
CAP is the hardest, most solid Earth sign, ruled by hard-core SATURN.
Horned goat – yet with a fish tail(?!) – capable of operating on land and in the waters?
I like the version of mythology where the mysterious fish goat is a symbol of attaining mastery (the summit of the mountain that the goat has climbed) yet making the merits compassionately available to all, and swimming in the ocean of unity (the fish).
Another expression of the integrity theme – whatever you attain, it ain’t just ‘yours’….
In the CAP season after Winter Solstice, beyond trusting the Return of the Light and cultivating the inner Heart Light (as per SAG), we conserve energy, and work with the actually Returning Light. Gradually, like climbing a mountain, the daylight minutes are getting longer, yet Winter has only just started.
CAP is very resourceful and doesn’t (can’t afford to) waste energy incl. time.
Everything useful has to be used – for the best purpose – to get through the Winter or make it on / up the Mountain.
Now, that’s the traditional world of CAP.
In our ‘civilized’ and industrialized ‘post-modern’ world and era, working optimally with limited / finite Earth resources a la CAP has especially recently (since PLUTO has entered CAP in 2008) become a main issue – not only of the Zeitgeist / as a Renaissance but an intense matter of survival or extinction of many animal and plant species, and even of humanity (while some CAP elite are constructing elaborate survival ‘fortresses’ and ‘exit plans’ to Mars…). Sadly, a deadline threat in the most literal sense.
Well yeah, as we know, we’re in this dire situation now mainly since Earth’s resources have been squandered and greedily exploited (shadow of CAP) through disrespectful, extensive-intensive industrialism and CAPitalism fixated on quantitative consumerism ‘growth’ (incl. in-built obsolesce).
Worth checking out / revisiting the educational and motivational Story of Stuff (originated in 2007 – 12 years ago when JUPITER aligned with PLUTO end of SAG – what a story!) and its variants. “A fact-filled look at the underside of our production – consumption – waste patterns.” If it only had caused more change then already….!
Sadly, the collective consciousness & conscience has taken all this time to catch up.
Yet, it’s not JUST a matter of finite / scarce resources but of seeing and using perhaps unused and underestimated resources.
That’s where JUPITER in CAP can come in.
Integrity a la CAP means, to treat the Winter Solstice gift of the Returning Light, and the Christmas gifts with honour and respect, to use them well, not to ignore them, nor abuse them.
I.o.w., to see / treat / use / work / build with what’s provided here-now, for the Highest Good, and in a timely manner.
Inquiry / Inventory Questions for the Integrity Point Activation:
- What have been the Gifts you received in the last year (and beyond)?
- Which of your inner Gifts have you been shown / reminded of?
- What would be the best way of doing something with them?
- How can this implementation bring out your Best?
Not to say it’s easy but can be very rewarding – a theme JUPITER in CAP just loves.
- How can your Best serve the Greater Good?
Tips:
- Make a Gifts & Resources Inventory.
Do it. Always makes a huge difference to put things down on rather than just contemplating.
- Then let the Gifts & Resources show you (JUPITER) how they want to be used (CAP) to bring out your Best, and serve the Highest Good (CAP).
- Which ones have priority (CAP)?
- Get started with the Implementation.
Don’t wait until all these…. conditions are met (a CAP trap).
CHIRON in early ARIES, squaring JUPITER in early CAP already on Dec 8 says:
There’s good Medicine in getting started. Start with the most important one, and keep it simple for starters (CAP).
SOOO JUPITER in CAP…!
Wherever JUPITER travels – that area of the Zodiac gets enhanced and magnified.
With a tendency to get the bigger picture, and ‘make it better’.
Simple formula: It gets bigger so that it can get better.
JUPITER’s attributes are: “VERY…” and “SO MUCH…”.
In the CAP World that translates into:
- SO evident now and more over the next year that – and why! – the Old Empire expires.
A process that’s been obviously with us for a while now, and quite acutely since this year 2019, initially activated by the Partial Solar (Release) Eclipse in mid CAP on Jan 5.

There’ll be a second CAP Partial Solar (Release) Eclipse this year on Christmas Day Dec 25(!).

JUPITER in early CAP will be even aligned with the Eclipse New Moon, making things more evident (one of my already key words for JUP in CAP). As in: The end of a materialistic & greedy show-off Christmas.
Being content with less. Celebrating the true Spirit of the Season.

- JUPITER in CAP is VERY serious and responsible.
The Climate Strikes / School Walk-outs we’ve seen will ‘not go away’ and continue to call for action and implementation of restrictions to damaging & devastating effects on Nature and our Home Planet, and a responsible change of human behaviour and lifestyle.
CAP New MOON / CHIRON / MERCURY retro born Greta Thunberg (* Jan 3, 2003) is such an ageless leader, and conscience of humanity, and a model of persistently standing the ground on behalf of something in essence simple and super important that needs to be taken seriously and addressed as a priority.
She hit the PLUTO / SATURN in CAP Zeitgeist, and Youth around the World respect her more than the elected ‘Old Empire’ leaders.
To the right you can see her chart – for 12 noon, since her birth time is not released.
The SATURN-PLUTO almost-union 2019 has been on her MOON in CAP (the need to be respected and to have basic needs met, as in: the need for a future as an adult). It became a transpersonal and societal theme, and put her with the simple yet consistent and powerful message – from a young woman, childlike yet ageless – to a position where she and Youth her age have to be respected in their urgent call for action.
SATURN – PLUTO in actual union on Jan 12, 2020, just after her 17th birthday, continue to powerfully activate her MOON, followed by JUPITER.
Working with energy optimally and for the Highest Good – the future of Life on Earth – is certainly what Greta and the Movement are all about.
With JUPITER entering CAP the issue of how we work with resources gets even more magnified and bigger – so that the situation gets better! May it be SO.
- The serious and heavy CAP energy can show up (Big Time even with JUPITER) as on-going uncaring, disrespectful, non-acknowledging, depressing / repressive experiences that make us shut down, become jaded, cynical, world weary and give up on showing up (“What’s the point?!”) since we feel ineffective.
SO important to be aware of, tend to, and outgrow (JUPITER) those phenomena with JUPITER in CAP.
Usually these CAP monsters show up when we’re isolated and / or too hard on ourselves.
So important to not let ourselves go down that slope, and to practice the awareness: We’re not alone, and this is not all on us alone.
AQ post-CAP brings networks and collaboration in – with the right people / in the right groups – an important theme for JUPITER / SATURN in early AQ 2020 / 2021.
- JUPITER in CAP is about Aging Well.
This relates of course also to supporting Planet Earth to Age Well, to keep Life on Earth going and regenerative.
What goes for the Earth Body also goes for our Human Earth Body.
As in: Keeping things natural, balanced, and simple, and going with timeless lived wisdom.
- CAP & the Elders
CAP represents also accumulated life experience.
Hence, JUPITER in SAG is about Honouring the Elders, and their wisdom-through-experience.
Canada’s re-elected CAP born PM Justin Trudeau (* Dec 25, 1971) – to the left is his birth chart – will have a Solar Eclipse with JUPITER on his Christmas birthday this year – as he turns 48 and will come closer to his CHIRON Return.
I.m.o., a pre-requisite for becoming PM / President would be to be post – CHIRON Return i.o.w. post 50 years old – unless you got a prominent CHIRON in your chart – like Greta does.
Well, let’s envision and hope he and his elected Empire (the electoral system is another story…) will come around and live up to true Integrity when it comes to First Nations and otherwise.
As an aside, J.T. has basically NO Water in his chart. His MARS is on the very last degree of PISCES, leaning over to its ruled ARIES and links to CHIRON / MOON there.
No more broken promises / pipe(line) dreams and acquisitions.
What does real Truth & Reconciliation – not from another governmental ‘higher position’ – mean?!
The Elders, First Nations, stewards of the land and the Land (CAP) have to be honoured – and need to be in a position of counsel! – , damage has to be repaired, and no new damage done.
- I say it again: JUPITER in CAP is about Honouring the Earth.
2020 will be a very Earthy year.
What does honouring Mother / Planet Earth mean to you???
The natural world is dying, and time (CAP) is of the essence.
How can we do our share in timely improvement?
How can we take the example of the young resourceful and persistent ones?
Be resilient ourselves, and not give up even as the going gets tough?
- Another key theme for JUPITER in CAP: Historic Perspective.
As I said, 2020 will be a Historic Year.
Yet / and nothing really IS a precedent. We can learn from history, apply and implement what had been already shown to us in the Past, or learn from ‘mistakes’ and not repeat damage.
One example: The Berlin Wall having come down 30 years ago, Nov 9, 1989.
New walls and fortresses on all levels (SATURN phenomena) are being built. Why?!!!
What’s the real purpose? What does it have to do with fear / control? Locking people in or out… How can the real issue be addressed differently, with a better vision, and to really improve the situation (JUPITER)?
A LOT could be said re: Historic Perspective from the astrological side.
Just some examples here:
* JUPITER cycles:
JUPITER was the last time in CAP Dec 2007 – Jan 2009.
Hmmm, first association is the U.S. depression in 2008.
Learning from the rather recent history?!
* A 20-year socio-economic JUPITER-SATURN cycle will close end of 2020.
It started in 2000 with JUPITER-SATURN and MARS in TAURUS. Conservative & consumer oriented – with the notion of Earth Consciousness kicking in about half-way, as PLUTO entered CAP in 2008/9.
The new cycle starts on the 1st degree of AQ:
Co-creating new systems in / for / as Humanity.
* SATURN-PLUTO in CAP (exact on Jan 12, 2020, witnessed and enhanced by JUPITER in CAP) will close a 38-year cycle that started in 1982/83 end of LIBRA.
The transformation (PLUTO) of up to then solid societal structures (SATURN) landed in the ’80’s in: Culture and esp. relationships.
Breakdown of old models, esp. of trad. marriage as an institution. What an increase since then in divorces and separation of couples who couldn’t be forced anymore to stay together. The end of PLUTO’nic shaming and denying / repressing of incompatibility and outgrowing of the purpose why they committed. Along with empowered equality of genders – extended in the last years to same sex marriage and LGBTQ rights and acknowledgment. Conscious uncoupling is a recent trend, at the end of this SAT- PLU cycle.
How can that transformation and empowerment of equality in (any) relationship that has developed in this era be transferred onto CAP matters?
While LIBRA represents a ‘horizontal’ balance CAP rules the ‘vertical dimension’, where structures of / and leadership will be subject to transformation and regenerated power.

Voyager Man of Worlds – Achiever
CAP is a Builder.
Buuut, JUPITER says, we don’t want to see just more and higher building and less belonging – which has been such a trend over the last years.
Building & buying as capitalist / investment moves have superseded the notion to make a home and belong.
Building an Empire has become a highly desirable notion and worldwide ‘virus’.
Big time ego driven materialism with a big shadow attached.
Post-modern city dwellers in their self-sufficient life boxes / cubes (there’s even a car with that name), tablets, and screens. What does all this pile up to?
And what’s the ‘next level’?
Well, it comes down to, and hopefully dawns on more of us this Christmas with the Eclipse New Moon what the true Spirit of Christmas & Solstice really is, and how to celebrate THAT.
CAP is the builder & achiever in the Zodiac.
This year with JUPITER in CAP offers such an opportunity to build based on what we truly and deeply value – not just more CAP stuff, ‘productivity’, and time eating activities that take us away from what Life is really about…
SATURN / PLUTO in CAP have been and continue to do their job at showing us what the unsustainable shadow is.
Hints:
Building from / for status and ego, and to contribute to the status quo of the old dominance & control model.
Being opportunistic can be a temptation of JUPITER in CAP – doing things uber pragmatically, just because they promise success and recognition / being in the ‘establishment’, making your mark on the world or on the Moon.
The means don’t justify the (even questionable) ends.
What’s with basic (CAP) ethics (JUPITER)?
Accomplishment & completion are high CAP values – yet, the work is ‘never done’… can we find fulfillment (JUPITER) in the doing of what’s in front of us?
For JUPITER-in-CAP (the year, in us…) lots of fulfillment can come from work – yet: Is that an old / parental / societal conditioning that plays itself out conditionally (“I only feel happy when I get the work done” “Good boy / girl!”)?
Time to outgrow it, with JUPITER in CAP, aided by SATURN / PLUTO.
Working for & serving the highest good may be as ‘basic and simple’ (CAP) as tending to home & family, friends & community, nature and our fellow animal & plant Beings, helping those in need….
Being guided by the Highest Good, going with less is more, being in Perfect Time Quality (Kairos vs Chronos – tied to the ‘quantity’ of Time) and going with Natural Law would be high vibrations of JUPITER in CAP.
Rather than buying into fear / control based ultra conservatism which can certainly show up under JUPITER in CAP using that energy to uphold valuable traditions and honour what’s ancient, timeless, and has passed the tests of time.
Supporting quality over quantity, and esp. freeing (JUPITER) up Time (CAP).
- I might have mentioned it before in this epic post about JUPITER in CAP (ha-ha, obviously I wasn’t born with it, would have kept it more succinct & concise in that case):
Support for Building for the Highest Good comes from:
* Rather than being SO serious, seeing where too much CAP (fear, control, conditioning) can be opened up – and even laughed at. Humour comes with experience / age.
* Being calm and on good terms with time.
* Been there, done that! is the remedy for FOMO and greed for more.
* Rather than purchasing more / the newest… realizing: “I already got (a version of) this that’s just fine, thank you, no thank you.” No need to waste money on another one and put the now considered ‘old’ one to waste. Understanding the system and freeing ourselves from its piles of stuff.
* No need for perfection / even completion (aka self-control). Doing what we can, and letting ‘them’ / the Universe take it from there.
* Rather than re-inventing the wheel, using what’s there, being resourceful, re-using, re-purposing.
* Doing what WE’re best at, have FUN with, and are naturally resourceful at.

What has grown better with time between you and them deserves gratitude and is inspiring to others too. Live and let live. And take time to talk to people around you. It can make a difference in someone’s life you have no clue about. And inspire them to live it forward.

Your Home, Origin, Ancestry
A rock-solid ancient world, affected by & writing history. Or just sooo old world / old empire,and you’ve become SO done with it?
